Everything about Pond Island is breathtaking! The island is located on the causeway connecting Nags Head and Manteo. One of the Outer Banks' smallest islands that is an absolute slice of paradise. It is close to all of the hustle and bustle, yet secluded and quiet to make your lasting memories. This is OBX living! The water views from the home are gorgeous in every direction. Come experience Pond Island on the Outer Banks!
We do not provide linens but can send you a third party option to rent from in the area. We do provide kitchen dish cloths and towels, as well as, hot tub towels.

Easter family weekend

Perfect house for our family weekend. Great location with all the extras especially the hot tub and bikes. Cleanliness was a 10 and owner was always quick to respond prior to trip. We had no issues at all from beginning to end.

The beach house was a well kept and maintained building. It came along with all the kitchen equipment you would need for meals throughout your stay. And the amenities the house came with set the stay over the top. The house also was very well kept up after and clean. If there were any questions or concerns, the property owner responded quickly to your messages. I will be sure to look up this property in the future if we will be staying in Nags Head again.

Wedding Weekend

Our Va and NC families were thrilled to attend our Granddaughter’s Beach Wedding on May 17. This property was perfect for our immediate family of 6, including two grandchildren who enjoyed the hot tub. The home was well appointed with spacious seating and comfortable beds.We will definitely use this property in the future.

Beautiful home and location

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed . Wonderful mini vacation- I wished we could have stayed the entire week!

Island time

The property was as described, sound water views, clean, comfortable beds, very nice hot tub that was bonus for those rainy days. Location close to many activities, restaurants. We will visit Island Haven again!!

Convenient location to experience OBX

Nice property, convenient to lots of shops, restaurants, attractions in Nags Head. Family loved the hot tub. My only complaint was the lack of back up basic supplies to last through the week (or at least a few days). Overall a great trip.

Wonderful Location!

Entire experience was wonderful! Tony and Britney are amazing hosts. Their house is lovely and they go above and beyond to make sure that renters have an exceptional time. It was our first time vacationing in the OBX and found this location to be perfect. We will definitely be returning!

This property was one of the best we have stayed in. The home was spotless. Nice sized rooms and bathrooms. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a nicer home. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all.

Weekend Getaway

Very nice property with a very well equipped kitchen! We are cooks and did all of our meals at the property. Excellent gas grill. Loved it. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. Clean and comfortable. Close to Jennette’s Pier for great winter beach walks.

Clean and comfortable with water views on all sides, decks for sunset and sunrise skies, and a hot tub. A great space for relaxing, cooking, and sleeping. Pet friendly! Owner easily available, receptive and helpful.

Excellent waterfront house with views all around. Plenty of room for our whole family to spread out when we wanted. Full appliances. Location was perfect. Plenty of great restaurants and beaches near by. Shopping very close by. 20 minutes to the Aquarium. Would definitely stay again.

Hard to Beat!

With comfortable beds, lots of space, amazing views, and much more to enjoy, it’s probably easier to say what we didn’t like about our stay—but nothing comes to mind! It was exactly what we were looking for during the off season, and the price couldn’t be beat. The house was cozy, conveniently located, and the neighborhood was quiet. Highly recommend. Thanks Britney and Tony for being great hosts!

Great stay!

Property is very well maintained and in a great soundside location. Very clean, Kitchen stocked nicley with all appliances, beds are comfortable.Weather was a bit chilly, but I appreciate that the heat worked despite the very windy conditions at night! There is a very nice soundside dock down the street to use for fishing which was great for our small fam. Note that you will hear traffic/ construction noise going on outside the neighborhood. Not a bad thing, just an FYA for anyone coming down in the next few weeks.

My family had a wonderful time on their Outer Banks vacation. The property was Excellent!! Island Haven was a beautiful property located on Pine Island. The beach was a 5 minute drive from the property which worked out good for my family because they could load up all their beach gear and drive right to the parking lot by Jennettes Pier, and only had to carry gear for a 50 yard walk. Trust me with my 2 grandsons and all their gear that was a God Send. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with open space and all the amenities. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We, plan on coming back. I highly recommend Island Haven for an outstanding OBX Vacation. Steve and Lisa P.

In every direction you look, you can see water!

Island Haven is a clean, well-maintained home with a well-stocked kitchen. The water views from the decks are what make the place. It was so relaxing to sit on the upper decks and watch the sunset. The location is ideal on quiet Pond Island between Manteo and Nags Head. It was a quick trip in either direction to all the places we wanted to visit. Walking the dogs around the little island led to meeting several friendly neighbors (and their happy dogs).There is no private sound or canal access with the property. Which was no issue for us. The public access point on the island seems to be a bit run down. But if you want the beach feel with great views, but don't need (or want to pay high dollar for) private water access, this is the place for you!Britney was extremely accommodating and readily available when we had the inevitable issues with the code on the door (has anyone ever consistently gotten these things to work???). Her communication before the booking and instructions in the home were always clear and helpful.We look forward to returning to Island Haven for another beach getaway soon!
