Pig Kahuna is an adorable, three bedroom/two bath home located between the highways in sought-after Nags Head - just past MilePost 10. This relaxing beach cottage is located on a quiet and spacious corner lot within easy walking distance to the E Albatross Street public beach access. The home is also walkable to nearby amazing local restaurants, shops, art museums and the dog park.

**NEW!** Driving down via EV? Easily charge your car on us! The home offers a 40 amp Level 2 (J1772) car charger in downstairs utility room. (Teslas will require adaptor).

The home comes with free wifi, a well-stocked kitchen with basic cooking essentials, two full bathrooms, three bedrooms (1 king ensuite, 1 queen, and one twin over full). Linens and towels are provided plus a starter kit of goodies to get the vacation off on the right foot. You can sleep in, as all bedrooms come with blackout curtains. Living room includes a smart-TV and DVD player with a large library of movies to choose from! Each bedroom is equipped with a smart-TV and DVD player.

Downstairs includes an outdoor shower, campsite grill, utility room with washer/dryer, beach chairs/cart, cornhole boards as well as a fire pit (firewood not included). The lot is spacious with plenty of green space to run around.

Wanna bring your bikes? Great! Nags Head offers a bike-friendly path along the beach access road. Cruise down quiet S Memorial Ave and end up at the crowd-pleasing Dowdy Park.

No need to leave your furry friend behind, Pig Kahuna is pet friendly – dogs only.

Outer Banks Vacation

We were so comfortable in this clean and cool house. The temperatures outside were ranging from 105 to 115 heat index. We were very cool inside. The hosts are so nice and responsive. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Another wonderful stay!

We love Pig Kahuna! It is cozy, comfy, and the perfect distance from the beach. Our dogs also feel at home here! Kara and Patrick are very easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely hope to come back in 2025!

Wonderful Week

This property is exactly as advertised. The kitchen was better stocked than most rentals. They have a garlic press. That was a first for me! They also have very nice beach equipment, not the stuff you buy at the local beach store for $2. They had a beach wagon, Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrellas, beach games including corn hole and even a beach tent. The house itself is very comfortable and well decorated. The beach is only a five minute walk. The owners are very responsive. We had a small issue with the television in the master bedroom, and the owners drove down immediately and replaced the entire television. The only thing that this unit did not have is a view of the ocean, but since that was never advertised, we were not disappointed. I will definitely look to rent this place again!

Perfect home for our quick getaway! Great location. Home was very clean. Kids loved the cornhole boards that were provided. Porch swing and hammock were appreciated by the adults! Would stay here again!

We loved Pig Kahuna sow much!

We stayed at Pig Kahuna as a mother/daughter trip with friends and it was an ideal location to walk anywhere, especially the beach that was less than a 5 minute walk. Kara was a great hostess with speedy communication. The outdoor shower was so nice! Kitchen was full of all the amenities and more. Fun collection of DVDs and beach reads as well! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Location / Cute House

The house "Pig Laguna" was perfect for our small group and our small pup. It is an easy walk to the beach and great restaurants within walking/biking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Great rental!

The house was perfect - the neighborhood was quiet we could hear the ocean at night which was very relaxing. It was only 2 short blocks to the beach, near restaurants and attractions. Perfect for our family! We would definitely stay here again!

Birthday Experience

The Pig Kahuna was awonderful place to stay to celebrate my sister's 55th birthday. The cottage was very clean and the hosts were wonderful to deal with. They were quick to respond to my questions. The location was perfect since it was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The cottage is located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Even though the weather was not very good, we still had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay there again.

Much needed vacation!

Patrick & Tara's place was fantastic. Had al we needed and was very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. A short walk to the beach. The surf was rough but we weren't planning to go swimming anyway just to sit on the beach to read and relax. The weather was great. We explore the shops and even went to Manteo to explore. Ate at some good seafood places! A definite house repeat if available when we visit again.

No frills house near the beach

House was close to the beach as advertised. It was clean upon our arrival and communication with the owner was very good. The house is not updated however if you mostly care about location, this one is within walking distance to the beach. We thought the water at the beach had too much seaweed so we ended up driving to other beaches. It may not always be like that though. Overall the house met our needs.

Great place!

We had a great time at Pig Kahuna. The walk to the beach is very short and the house was comfortable for our family of 5. The wagon and beach toys were much appreciated for our kids.
