We have stayed at Lae Nani many times, many of them in this unit. The view of the bay and the magnificent gardens is superb from the lanai. The apartment sparkled from a recent update that included new kitchen appliances. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Our family loved our stay at Lae Nani. The views are amazing, the location is centralized and the island is relaxing. We enjoyed going to Lava Lava, the Marketplace for shaved ice and relaxing on the beautiful grounds. I highly recommend Lae Nani for families.

Kapa’a condo with a view

We had the best time making family memories in this condo in Kapa’a! The unit was clean and nicely decorated with a strong Hawaiian theme. The unit was plenty large for our family of 3. Our teenage daughter got her own large bedroom and bathroom. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. There’s plenty of drawer and closet space in both bedrooms. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms. There’s no A/C in the living room and kitchen areas. This wasn’t a problem for us but it’s something to keep in mind. The view from the living room, dining room, and balcony is spectacular. You can hear the ocean waves all day and night which is so relaxing. The views and sounds alone are worth the price of the unit.The beach is much closer than it appears in the pictures. We were happily surprised. We used the beach on property every day after other activities because it’s so close and not crowded. The waves can be strong in the main beach area, but there’s a little area blocked by rocks that’s shallow and has no waves for anyone that doesn’t want to deal with strong waves. The kitchen is functional. Utensils/plates are a little worn,but usable. We cooked a couple of times. We didn’t have to buy additional washing machine soap or trash bags which is much appreciated! The owner was quick to respond when we reached out. Parking was always available and spaces were large. Costco and target are less than 8 miles away. Safeway is a mile away. Highly recommend!

Paradise!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lae Nani The Condo was sparkling clean, no harsh air fresheners ~ the bathrooms are new and the full size washer & dryer was such a plus! No shortage of towels, blankets, pillows & beach gear (cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards & snorkel gear). The kitchen was fully stocked w/ everything you'll need from baking to cooking pans. We were so grateful to have A/C in the bedrooms as many condos don't have it. Can't say enough about the VIEW & the sounds of the crashing waves!! It is the best view on the whole property! Loved our own personal beach right in front & the Lava Lava restaurant right next door. The Hawaiian decor completed the whole package. We will stay here next time we visit Kauai! Mahalo!!

GREAT location!

Loved staying in Pap'aa - great location, could go north or south very easily. This condo is south of town so didn't need to go through the 'busy' section of town to get to Kihei. The A/C's were wonderful in the bedrooms too!

A lovely home away from home

Our party has been visiting Lae Nani since the early 1980s and stayed at about a dozen different properties in the complex. This unit ranks among our top three favourites for its location on the beautiful grounds of Lae Nani and the numerous amenities it offers.

Beautiful View!

This view was amazing! We loved being able to sit out on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The beach was awesome and we enjoyed taking our 1 year old there because part of the beach has no waves and makes it very nice to wade and play in the water. The property was very pretty. Within walking distance to a fun restaurant next to the ocean.

Can't beat the view

The condo was comfortable for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The view is fantastic, and access to the beach is unbeatable -- we did go to Poipu and Hanalei beaches but we preferred the Lae Nani beach! The one down side was that the place was not as clean as I would have liked. There's tile in the master bathroom (floor and counter), guest bath (floor) and kitchen (floor and counter). All tile had dirty-looking grout. I suggest the owners/managers invest in a deep steam cleaning of the grout. The guest bath had a nice, new countertop. There was also dingy brown fingerprints on the white doors around the doorknobs. I took a cleaning wipe and scrubbed until they came clean. It's not what I want to do when I'm on vacation though. I prefer to start my vacation at a clean rental.

Fantastic Stay

Great place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Central location on the island and close to shops, restaurants, etc. Overall property was very well maintained. One suggestion I have is to replace the carpet and put in wood floors. We will definitely come back again.

The grounds here are beautiful and the location is perfect for going north or south on the island. Recommend: You need a parking permit. This should be called out on the property management instructions. Unit could use a good, deep clean. We will consider this place again.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties in the past and this home was one of the very best--in all categories. The view and neighborhood were spectacular, and the home had all the amenities needed. We must have missed the notice that all the beach stuff was in the closet on the lanai, and it was stocked with everything needed. Recommend this property to all categories of renters. The on-sit staff were also delightful and very helpful!!

Exceptionally breathtaking location

Lae Nani’s location cannot be beat. We enjoyed the breathtaking views every morning in this tranquil paradise. Listening to the melodic waves of the ocean just feet away was a true gift. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the private beach is spectacular. . The condo is nicely decorated and well equipped. We are grateful we found this rental and will be back for years to come.

A wonderful rental in Paradise

This property is beautiful and the condo very well outfitted from the kitchen to the washer/dryer with plenty of towels and pillows. The in room A/C units are vital as the morning sun comes straight in your unit for hours. The bamboo shades are amazing, but the fans and in bedroom units are key! We were there for a week at Christmas and it was warm!!! The master bed wasn’t really comfortable and the bamboo frame was noisy. The shower is tiny bit the water pressure amazing! So all in all I would rent this unit again in a heartbeat! We enjoyed the boogie boards and the small cooler with the wagon as well! Really really well stocked. The kitchen had a few staples like coffee filters and some basic pantry things. Loved it!

Perfect slice of paradise

We could not have been luckier to find this place - especially at the last minute! The view is spectacular. The beach is even closer than it appears in photos. We loved having the secluded cove for easy access. It felt safe to snorkel and there were great shallow lagoons for kids to play in safely. We were not disappointed when we swam with a turtle! The complex is quiet and friendly. An easy walk next door to a great bar and restaurant with music and outdoor games right at the beach (Little Lava Beach Club). Also walkable to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store with good deli food (prime rib, chicken tenders and salads were great!). Drive 5 minutes to an easy-to-view waterfall or kayak up the river for a more adventurous one! Drive a few minutes to Kapaa for more shopping and restaurants. Can’t go wrong and it’s so much less busy in this area than Poipu or Princeville. You won’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back!!
