We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Overall, we found it to be like the pictures, in a good location, & walking distance to both the beach & shopping/eateries on Asbury Ave. There was plenty of space for 5 adults, 1 baby, & 1 dog. The AC units worked well, & the kitchen appliances & bathrooms were mostly clean.There were several drawbacks to the rental. The furniture needed a deep cleaning, & the upstairs carpet was badly stained. The bathmats were also dirty, so we washed them, and the upstairs towel rack was broken. A bedroom overhead light fixture was missing, & many of the outlets did not work. We found dirty dishes in the kitchen, including a oil-covered fry pan (see photo). We had to wash most of the utensils and dishes before using them. We had planned to grill but found it to be very dirty also. We had access to bath & beach towels, but there were only 2 washcloths & no dishcloths in the rental. I offered to leave the ones I bought in town if the host would reimburse me, but she replied that she refreshes these items at the end of the season. This response was confusing since we were paying renters & needed these items during our stay, especially for my 15mo old, who had many feeding items that could not be washed with the used sponge in the kitchen. I did feel we were treated differently given that we were staying at the end of the season, so I hope the host will make some improvements going forward.
