Great Beach House

Great place to stay

Awesome location. If you look just right you can see the ocean. We all loved the outdoor shower. It’s really a great spot. My only negative. If you are going to cook, bring everything you need. To the owners, maybe go to the dollar store and pick up pots, pans, baking sheet. But don’t let that stop you from coming. Overall a great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come down every year for my sons birthday. We like dealing Cobb, they are quick to answer back any questions or make changes. The property was nice and big enough for our family. The con we found, we have stayed 3 other beach houses on crystal beach, Palm Paradise was #4, there was nothing there as in a roll of toilet paper, paper towel or hand soap. We ended up leaving what we left just so that if the next renters had a toddler like we did, they would be set up to use the restroom as soon as they walked in the door instead of having nothing. There also wasn’t any mixing bowls or things of that nature. We stayed 6 days, we cook quite a bit.The house was nice and in a decent location, we rented a golf cart, so that was nice to go the short distance to the beach was not an issue. The only con with the location was that we were not able to quite see the ocean.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was great. Ladies at the front desk are super friendly. Upon arriving to the unit it seemed fine. Over the course of the stay I started noticing the cleaning people do NOT clean the units. There was trash left, stains on pretty much everything (besides towels) there was a TOOTH in the master bathroom; it was just disgusting for the price I paid. I took pictures, and wrote it on the paper and turned it back in. Motel 6 is cleaner than the unit.

Very clean cabin - but neighbors love karaoke!

Neighbors have a karaoke machine and like to karaoke until 2a.m. on weekends making it hard to sleep.

Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were a great size, and everything worked well. I wish that we would have had a downstairs access to maybe a refrigerator, or storage area to keep ice chests and other belongings secure without having to cart them up and down the stairs. A few smaller plastic cups for kids would be great too! I would definitely stay here again as it had great access to the beach!

Had a great time!

We had a wonderful time! Cozy property. Loved having the fire pit since it’s chilly out still in March. Great swing! Could have used some dishwasher and laundry detergent and some other kitchen items (large serving bowl and/or tray, baking pan) but we made do and had an awesome time! Rock driveway also pretty rough on the feet. Would stay here again!

Very nice cabin...essentials needed

This was our first stay at this property. The property was very nice and new, however is missing some essential items that are needed for a beach stay. There is no outdoor water hose and we called to find out about it and was told the owner does not want a water hose at the house. With no water hose there is no way to clean off anything downstairs, including getting sand off of rented golf carts, etc. (which is required to be done before returning). We had to go buy one to use. We were given a warning about the slow internet, but renters need to know that includes any tv watching...we weren’t able to watch anything as there is no cable and the internet is ridiculously slow. Also, there are no instructions for renters in the home at all. This was a great home but it was apparent it was a new rental, and just needs a few essential items. Otherwise a great stay.
