Waterfront with Kayaks, Pool Table, Fire Pit, and Pergola. Downtown area

Welcome to the Beautiful Waterfront getaway. My home is located on a river connected to Lake Opechee with private access to the river. This newly renovated home has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. If you look outside you will see a beautiful view overlooking the river. Enjoy the warm fire pit, giant pergola outside. A deck also overlooks the river where you can spend time grilling and enjoying your morning coffee. 2 Kayaks will be provided to float down the river and explore Lake Opechee starting May 1st.

This is a 2 unit home. Your private downstairs unit has over 1,300 sq ft. The driveway is shared with the neighboring house. You will always have 2 parking spots available. If an additional spot is needed please contact me before arrival. The pergola, fire pit, deck are all private for you. Each room has a smart tv equipped with Netflix and YouTube TV. Bedroom 1 has a 55inch Samsung. Bedroom 2 has a 50 inch Vizio. The living room has a 65 inch Samsung and the 3 season room has a 65 inch Samsung as well. The kitchen has all you will need to cook or bake provided with plenty of pots/ pans, utensils, cooking oil, salt/pepper and plenty more.

Perfect weekend get away for a girls weekend. Easy check in process. Had everything we needed. Host was very responsive when we had a question. Serene location on the river. Perfect for charcuterie and a fire.

We had a great visit at this property. The place was clean and super close to downtown Laconia where you can walk into town for coffee, shopping, and dinner. The kids loved playing outside and we took the kayaks out twice. We made s'more's at the fire pit and enjoyed every bit of our time there. Thank you Steven!

Perfect location. This was our second stay at Steven's wonderful home. Just as described in the listing. Kids loved the kayaks and game room. Adults enjoyed the fire pit and fireworks were amazing!

Nice Relaxing Getaway

My girlfriend and I had a weekend of peace and quiet by the river sitting next to the fire. Played some pool and air hockey. Very nice place to stay and enjoy all the comforts of home.

Wedding overnight with family

Steven’s place was charming and cozy. We stayed just one night for a wedding we attending at Church Landing. The house was immaculate, easy check in, easy parking, easy commute to our wedding. Wish we stayed longer to enjoy it more! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the river was very nice. The host was very attentive so we had everything we needed and more. It’s a property in the heart of the city, so we walked to local places which was a bonus.

Wish We Could’ve Stayed Longer!

Steven’s house in Laconia was the perfect location for a family ski weekend getaway. Just 14 minutes from Gunstock and even less to town, it made getting around simple & easy. The interior was warm, welcoming, clean and tastefully appointed. We loved so much about staying here that I’m confident we’ll be back to both enjoy it in the winter, and summer. Steven was also very helpful with communication and food recommendations!

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us so kayaking/fire pit was mostly out, but the unit is charming, really well-appointed, and the location is very peaceful. The game room was super fun--thrashed the hub at air hockey and pool! Everything you need for getaway at the lake

Loved it!!

Steve was very accommodating and helpful. The house is a short walk to downtown and almost across the street from the WOW hiking/biking path. The kayak in the river was wonderful. I’m glad he’s building stairs from the back game room to the backyard and river because otherwise it wasn’t easily accessible.

Review of Stay - May 26-29, 2024

Convenient and pleasant location next to canal and Laconia town center. Not far from Lake Winnipesaukee. Some noise from local construction work and loud cars and motorcycles. All new fittings and comfortable beds. The pathdown to the pergola was somewhat steep for older persons. Reasonable value for two couples. Responsive Landlord. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Hosts

The place was as advertised. We loved the fire pit out by the river. The host left us almost everything for s'mores. The home was clean and well stocked. Bed and linens were so comfortable. The towels were super soft. Shower was a little complicated to work but we figured it out. Location is awesome and near so many things. Just love the place. Nice to sit on front porch and have morning coffee but if it wasn't so dam cold the back porch would have been even better. Thank you for our stay.

Summer Vacation

Everything in the house was well stocked and it was an easy drive to different outings. As the parent of a child with multiple allergies, just a few things to note- the shower curtain had lots of mildew and clearly needs to be replaced. The towels also had some stains on them. In addition, recommend cigarette butts are cleaned out of the fire pit. I had picked this place because no pets are allowed, however, there was a cat that spent a fair amount of time on the front porch and outside of the game room. I did see some cat hair in the game room. We had to stop allowing our child in that room due to an asthma attack. The place was fine overall but those few things made a difference.

Great unit, accommodating host

We had a great stay. The unit itself is well kept and has plenty of space. We stayed there to ski at Gunstock which was <15min drive. Access was easy and the owner shared clear communication before we arrived.

Great stay

We had a nice time recharging and relaxing at this location. We lit the fire at night and enjoyed the quiet outside. We loved the game room which kept us very entertained. The mattress was also very comfortable the way everyone discussed in prior reviews!

If you are planning on reserving boat time please reach out to me at least 14 days prior to arrival so a captain can be reserved. Boat may ocationally be unavailable due to other charters so reach out before you book to make sure it is available. Rates are $150 per hour. You can choose between exploring the lakes bars and restaurants, tubing, swimming, or a nice cruise on the lake. Lake Winnipesaukee is approximately 21 miles long and its deepest part is 212 ft. There is plenty to explore!
