This gorgeous canal-front and marsh-view townhouse is non-smoking and pet-free. Located in the Pirate's Cove Resort, you are just steps away from Bluewater Grill and a world-class marina, along with community pool and the sound. The unit has 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths, accommodating 6, with a marsh-front Master bedroom with a Queen bed and private bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each hold a Queen bed as well and share a hall bathroom. We are a golf cart friendly community so renting or bringing your own is permitted! The home comes with covered parking for vehicles or boat/jet ski trailer and a Saturday Turn-day. This property has 4 flat-screen TVs (All Roku enabled), WiFi, ceiling fans, and furnished screened-in deck. Come take in the great view of the marsh and stunning sunsets, or reach out to the marina and set-up a fishing trip, the options are almost endless! Parking for 3 vehicles maximum, and access to community pool, tennis courts, and fitness center comes with unit. 30' of Canal Space at Sextant Canal #401 available behind property. Cable is not offered with this property, but the Roku has free service enabled and guests may log into their own service while here.

Amazing weekend in Pirates Cove!

Loved this property! Enjoyed being on the water and watching the beautiful sunsets. Even went swimming and fishing off the dock! Definitely would recommend renting a golf cart to get around to pool, ships store and restaurant. You could drive or walk but the golf cart is so much easier. Recommend renting from OBX golf cart rentals located in Manteo. Overall it was a fabulous weekend getaway and we will certainly be back!

Pleasant house, good location

We stayed in this house for a quick weekend away. It was nice and clean. It is next to a marsh, with a channel for boats; you can pull up your boat right on your very own dock. The house was comfortable; it has a lovely screen porch we would have enjoyed if it hadn't been Alaska weather the whole weekend. The only thing that bugs me is the ridiculous VRBO fees. This one had a ton of them, which more than doubled the cost of our stay. We booked last minute so we went ahead with it but I have had it with that--they should put the true cost of the stay on the original listing. Better yet, book directly with Pirates Cove and you'll get a better price.

So Relaxing!

Stayed in “Newt’s Nest” in April with a family of 4 which included 2 teenage boys. We had the best time! When not exploring what the rest of Outer Banks had to offer, we were so happy and relaxed here. The boys enjoyed crabbing off the boardwalk in the canal and walking around Pirates Cove. The adults loved the decor and most of all the outstanding view from the back porch. The on site restaurant is great. Centrally located in Manteo so you have easy access right over the bridge to the rest of the Outer Banks. Honestly, though, there was a day or two that we just wanted to stay at the property all day and relax- that’s how tranquil it is. Would absolutely stay here again.

Quick fishing trip

We had booked an offshore fishing trip on the Bodacious which was docked in Wanchese. This property was so close and convenient!! Plus the restaurant and tiki bar on the property were both fabulous! We caught lots of fish and had an amazing time. We will be back!

Nice spot!

The location and ease of this condo made our trip so relaxing and very happy. Looking out at the marsh and the bay started and ended our day. The unit itself is just right for two people; may be a little tight for more.

Great location for a home away from home!

Renting this unit was super easy, check in and check out was simple and the listing was just as expected. The space was great for our family of six - 3 adult couples. The views of the sound and easy access to a dock made for great outside relaxing anytime of day. The kitchen was well stocked and the community amenities were easily accessible.

Great stay

We very much enjoyed our time here. Decorated so cutely and we loved the sound side view and water. Location was also very convenient to many restaurants and activities. We couldn’t get the out door shower or grill to work but besides that, we had a very nice stay. Would stay here again.

Absolutely serene and perfect!

The perfect location and atmosphere for relaxation. The view from porch is amazingly serene. Definitely recommend!!
