Waterfront with Hot Tub PNW Cabin

Your vacation rental, Marea, sits right at the water's edge on low bank waterfront with unobstructed views that will not disappoint. This 3-bedroom 2.5 bath home is adorned with warm pine, quartz counters & stainless-steel appliances. There's a Permitted Deep water floating dock (if you would like to arrive by boat). The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The Acre +/- forested park like grounds gives space & privacy. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the view from the hot tub. Perfect calm harbor for paddle-boarding, kayaking or water skiing. Paddle across the harbor to the local store. The property has plenty of parking and even space for an RV. Close to Penrose Point & Joemma Beach State Parks. 3 Kayaks are provided.

Great location for bird watching, a group of seals might be sitting on the floating dock on a sunny day, bald eagles have been spotted along with deer.

Enjoy great sunset by the waterfront firepit while roasting s'mores.

This is a place for a great getaway from hustling cities, if you miss that, Gig Harbor is 30 minutes away.

We have a NO PET policy.

This waterfront setting and views are amazing. It’s so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a getaway. Samah, our host, was very accommodating and communicative in advance helping us plan accordingly. I’d highly recommend this home for those looking for serenity off the Sound.

I HIGHLY recommend this property!! From the spotless home, to the very thoughtful plethora of amenities, and wonderful host communication, we will definitely be back! Mothers Day weekend

We had an amazing weekend with extended family this past Mothers Day weekend. The house was accommodating to our large party with kids ranging from 1yr to 16yrs old. Lots of family activities spacious rooms that were thoroughly clean upon arrival. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the kayaks while taking in amazing views. Definitely recommend the stay our family loved it. We will be back!

Magical Pacific NW Vacation

We enjoyed everything about this house! Clearly the owners put a lot of thought into the design and layout to maximize space and comfort. There was plenty of space in the house for our group of 6 and we also made great use of the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit area. The s'mores supplies and the kayaks were great additions to our stay and we loved watching the wildlife, including seals, come in and out with the tides. Communicating with the host was super easy and very helpful. We would stay here again without any hesitation!

Fantastic property with gorgeous views!

Our stay in Lakebay was incredible. As this was our second time visiting Samah's place, we definitely enjoy the property and the views. Samah is a fantastic host and includes plenty of coffee, tea, and activity to keep anyone occupied.

Great Place with Amazing View

The location and views are amazing at this place. We saw herons, eagles, and so many birds. There was even a seal playing in the bay one morning. The house was very clean and had everything we need for a weekend stay. The hot tub was in good condition and the location on the deck was stunning.

A Great Getaway!

So peaceful and quiet with great touches by owner throughout the house. Loved the record player and Smores and nestling by the fire at night. Having access to the kayaks and being right on the water was so amazing and convenient. Families will love this home!

The cosy corner

We loved the house with this amazing view, it’s a perfect gateway place with friends or family. It’s welcoming beautiful and cosy, we loved the vibe and will definitely come back! Samah was very nice and responsive, which is very much appreciated. Hearing and observing the sea lions in the morning was the perfect bonus!

Great stay

Our family of 6 had a great time at this house. We played in the water, in the sand and relaxed in the house and the deck. Fun to have kayaks and explore the waterfront. Check-in was easy and Samar was helpful and responsive. A few housekeeping things weren’t fully done when we arrived but it didn’t stop us from having a great time.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfectly located on the water with a grocery store nearby. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and we had the most relaxing stay. My only comment is that there are no curtains in the living room/kitchen area, so if you are sleeping on the couch you will want to being an eye mask.

Girls Weekend

We had a group of 6 women and found the house and location absolutely beautiful. The views and peacefulness were top notch. The house had everything we needed and the beds were all really comfortable. The deck was an amazing spot to watch the water and wildlife. We had no complaints and the owner was easy to reach as needed. We loved the place and the company. Thank you!

Girls Weekend

We were a group of 6 friends and this place was the perfect weekend retreat! Everything from the coffee machine to the record player made for the cozy relaxing vibe we didn't know we needed. My friends and I have been coming to stay at this gorgeous house for three years now each fall, and we absolutely love it here! Samah is a gracious and wonderful host. The location is secluded enough to make it feel like a relaxing retreat/getaway and the house is stocked with everything one needs to have a lovely and cozy time. We definitely plan to return!

Son’s wedding

Our son got married a short distance away from this fabulous getaway. We stayed three nights and it was the perfect place to relax and reflect after the festivities. Soaking in the hot tub with a cup of coffee the morning after the wedding was pure bliss! The home was comfortable for our family; very clean, bright and welcoming. The view is killer and the seal that said hello on the kayak ride was an added bonus. We can’t wait to go back!!

Family Time

The kids enjoyed catching crabs and going kayaking. The hot tub was never without someone in it. We had a raccoon visitor that would pop up all over the place. All in all, the week flew by and we hated having to leave.

Gorgeous riverside stay

Our stay in Lakebay was fantastic. Superb amenities with up to date materials made us feel as if we made the call on nearly every detail. My wife and one of our friends staying with us are not big coffee drinkers. Our rental already had a good variety of teas to choose from, without any request from us. Samah also made effort to accommodate our early access and late check out requests. Overall a gorgeous place to stay with a lovely owner. Thanks Samah!

Daughter’s 18th Birthday Party

A beautiful house on the water that had all of the amenities that we could hope for my my daughter’s 18th birthday party. My daughter and her friends were happy with the stylishly retro look of the living room that overlooked the bay; they had many sessions of photoshoots in that room. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a wonderful kayaking trip about the bay (we loved that kayaks were provided!). Everything was just so charming and cozy about the place and we could not have had a better experience.

Fun summer time!

We really really enjoyed our stay. If you have t-mobile you may not have service, but they have wi-fi or you can walk up to the street to get service (we had to do that because we didn't get the right code for check-in). The other feedback was that there not foldable / plastic chairs to join the fire-pit or chill at the beach. But! EVERYTHING ELSE was excellent. I really love our stay and I would totally stay there again. They also charge a steep refundable deposit when you reserve, which it took me by surprise... but if you can afford it, do it!

Getaway at the Bay...

Our family absolutely loved EVERY minute of our stay! If only we could have stayed longer. Communication with Owner, Samah was quick and easy all the way through! The home had every thing we needed and more for daily living and comfort. The location took our breath away. My five older teens, myself, and hubs loved the kayaks, paddle boarding, and just floating. With the tides schedule we hunted for crabs, oysters, and mussels, took long walks, and then headed back for a soak in the hot tub. We enjoyed our coffee in the AM on the water front deck as the shore lined ebbed away and the seals popped up and then down near by and dinners on the BBQ in the eve and watched the beautiful sunsets. (Lots of photo ops!) Such a friendly community with a decent store just 10 minutes away. Plenty of parking for all. Can't wait for our next visit! Thanks you so much Samah.
