All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Enjoyed our trip!

Comfortable condo and enjoyed our stay. Recommend replacing uncomfortable bed mattress. Otherwise condo was roomy and our stay was wonderful!

Vacation for 5

My sister and I took our 80+ year old parents to Sugar Beach Resort. A place they visited 20 years ago. The room accommodated 5 of us quite comfortably. The pool and hot tub was wonderful. And we even took advantage of the barbecue grills one evening. The front office staff were wonderful. My dad even recognized a staff member from 20 years ago, which he thought was awesome. We hope to be back soon!

Nice house impossible dishwasher

We greatly enjoyed our stay in your home, my only complaint would be if you have a complicated appliance you need to leave operating instructions in the binder or posted near it.

Sugar beach.

Love the unit and location. Our second time there. Feel that pull out mattress is extremely uncomfortable and needs an upgrade. Also showers were a little moldy in the tile when we arrived. Had some trouble with the air conditioning for two nights which was uncomfortable for sleeping. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Ideal for family or 2 couples

I've been staying at Sugar Beach since the 70's so many memories have been made there and I have stayed in many of the condos, some more updated than others. So given that the building has been there so long, yes it is dated but very well maintained and you can't beat the views and this great walking beach. 514 appears to have been updated about 15-20 years ago. Still has old school rattan furniture, and carpeting but we don't come for decor. These 2 bedroom units are spacious with commanding views of the bay. A few more dishes would be nice. Place setting for only 6 doesn't go far when you cook as much as we do. But in general, a very nice unit.

Family trip

Immediate impression was it was a nice size and layout for our family of four, and the view was incredible. Could not be any closer to the beach. Really enjoyed the outdoor amenities - pool, hot tub and bbq area. Having laundry was also wonderful. As the week went on we discovered the place was not as clean as we hoped. Found some bugs in the kitchen, cobwebs under furniture and the carpeted spaces (indoors and out) could really afford to be replaced. One of the living room tables has a glass top that is not secured to the base. Unfortunately it tipped off and landed on our 4 year old’s foot, breaking his toe which derailed our trip. This is very much as hazard, especially when renting to young families. We would return to Sugar Beach but would look for a more well-kept unit.

Sunset and sunrise oasis

The property is as pictured. An older unit on a lovely ground. Very limited beach access as far as swimming. The reef is rough. The sunsets are gorgeous from the lani, and the mornings are pink sunrises at times. Shower head was broken. It fell on my head mouth area, and they were not able to repair it due to the style and color taking longer to procure. The unit needs a deep clean, but it is mostly clean. The washrooms and the dusting need some more time spent on the cleanliness. The bedrooms have sliding doors snd so do the units above you. When they open and close their doors you hear it. Be sure and bring an eye mask if light bothers your sleep as light is constantly filtering through the blind. The gentle morning waves and the sail boats add extra charm to the palm tree backdrops. There’s a million ways to enjoy the views of whales, coral, sunsets, and aloha life. Great dream come true for us.

Spacious, quiet, and great location

We loved everything about our stay with one exception - the king sized bed. It was broken and leaning. We immediately reached out but it took 3 days of intense effort for us to get a callback. Finally, they did, and they fixed it, but that one issue can ruin a vacation if you came to rest, which we did. Anyway, all else was amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, silverware, etc. A standard coffee pot was provided, as was a microwave, and electric stove/oven combo. The appliances were clean and newer. There were plenty of linens and even detergent for the washer/dryer. The split A/C system was working well too, but who needs it with a double lanai that fully opens to the outside? That was awesome. Overall, this is a very spacious and quiet unit on a quiet beach located in a great spot for adventuring out. The concierge staff were friendly and had great local suggestions, and helped us book several things. We would rent here again, for sure.

Great Stay

My family and I had a great stay at this property! We had spent the first few days of our vacation at another location because of our last minute booking. My husband and the kids absolutely loved the closeness of the beach and ocean and our view from the balcony was amazing! The space was more than enough for our family of 5. We would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet Paradise

We loved our stay in this wonderful condo. The kitchen is a bit small but it was manageable. After all, we stayed there due to the stunning views and wonderful Lanai which did not disappoint. The sunsets from the lanai are unbelievably beautiful!! We will certainly stay here again.

No ac for 8 days!

We have not had ac for the last 8 days and every time we contact someone they give us different conflicting information about when it will be fixed. Our last conversation we had with them we were told the part was ordered and would not be here for 2 weeks! That is over 3 weeks of our trip and that is assuming it is immediately fixed once the part arrives! Nothing is being done to make us feel better and this is just a really unfortunate experience for us on what is supposed to be a great vacation.
