This beach front villa has every amenity you would need while vacationing on beautiful Jekyll Island! Waterfront views from the master bedroom, living room & two balconies give the complete feeling of living on the water. The villa gives off a "comfy beachy" feel with coastal decor furnishings and keepsakes from the island.

This fantastic 3-bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront villa just next to Driftwood Beach, offers comfortable living areas, colorful decor and a terrific view of the ocean from two balconies that are perfect for enjoying the sounds of the ocean. Villa 279 features one king bed, one queen bed and two twin bunk beds; WIFI, 3 TVs, cable, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer in unit, on-site pool, restaurant, laundry facilities and fitness room.

This beautiful beach villa is minutes away from three golf courses, the world-famous Driftwood Beach, island-wide biking trails, paddle boarding and kayaking, putt-putt golf, golf cart rentals, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, and much more.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE:
Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Driftwood Beach only. Hurricane Helene damaged the stairs providing access to the lower beach and water at low tide for all Villas By The Sea Boardwalks. Direct beach access from the Villas by the Sea is not available at this time.

***Beach Access May Not Be Available At High Tide*** During high tide, please enjoy the oceanfront boardwalk OR swimming pool at VBTS or use one of the public beach access parks south of the Holiday Inn
NOTE: Rental guests are not allowed to have pets in the cottage at any time. This doesn’t imply that the rental is a completely pet-free property. If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged to the card on file AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

Very nice unit. We love Jekyll and this was our first time staying in the Villas. Property is older but well maintained and quiet. Unit is updated. The den is a little small. The bedrooms are nice sized. I would stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great! The condo its self was okay, however, all the chairs were very uncomfortable, condo in bad need of refreshing and paint, floors were filthy, the kitchen was not well stocked and everything was very dirty and had to be washed before using. I would say not up to Parker and Kaufman standards from past bookings with them. Nice pool area and Jekyll & Tide Restaurant was good. Disappointed that there was not a beach access, but pleased with the short walk to Driftwood Beach. Might recommend to a friend because of the location, view and pool, but would want to make sure they knew of the short falls.

Was disappointed there was no beach access. Very disappointed we couldn’t park in front of the unit. Be mindful there is no garbage disposal nor enough toilet paper for 4 adults for a week. Renovation was nice though. View was nice. Pool was too far away.

Turtley Amazing Spring Break

We had the best spring break and we loved how close this condo was to everything we wanted to see and do- Driftwood Beach, biking trails, restaurants, turtle center etc. My 3 big girls age 9-4 loved the bunk room and being able to stay altogether and I loved that they all had separate beds so I didn’t have to hear about who kicked who. The breakfast bar seats were great for the morning and preparing lunches and then we were able to have sit down dinners around the dining room table.. I already have requests to come back again

We loved this condo! Location is perfect and the playground was directly across! Our kids loved this and so did we! Very clean and check in and out was so easy!

The villa is in a great location. Beautiful views from the balconies and close to the water. A short drive or bike ride from local restaurants and convenience stores. The beds are comfortable and the condo is bright and cheery

Great location

Very nice unit. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint would be that the heating system blows the warm making the smaller downstairs room quite stuffy. There was a distinct shortage of good knives and cutting boards. Also, the only teflon coated pan was very scratched up and so not safe to use. A sprucing up of the cookware is really all that’s needed to make this a great unit

Under the Oaks

We love Jekyll Island and this weekend offered lovely fall weather for the Under the Oaks Race! The condo was perfect for our needs and offered a wonderful view of the ocean as we relaxed after the run. Once we were rested up we headed right out the back door and down to Driftwood Beach was a slow stroll.

Villa 279

This was our 2nd time staying in this exact villa, but have been staying at Villas by the Sea each summer for over 30 years. We love this villa due to it's location, view, and the washer and dryer in the unit.

What I wish I would have known

This townhome was cute . It had the perfect amount of beds for us ! Location was great . Short walk between two board walks . Only one of which would let you down to the water due to one being closed . You could definitely see the ocean , even though you aren’t exactly ocean view. I could watch the sunrise from the small couch . The steps up to the room are directly across from the park . The restaurant and the pool were literally just steps away from the townhouse The Villas was a neat place. Lots of trees . A huge shaded pool, not heated for cooler months. FYI But very clean & pretty . Plenty of trash bins all around , laundry room . There were ICE machines scattered about for coolers. I never EVER leave reviews , But I had to. Pics make place look much bigger DATED appliances !! Like from the 80’s / 90’s younger folks may struggle with this . I grew up with similar so it was fine. NO ice maker in fridge . Plastic ice trays are provided Lamps everywhere. NO ceiling FANS ! For the love of crabs BRING YOUR FAN or you WILL buy one !! Especially since the thermostat goes no cooler then 68. PILLOWS - just bring your own! Trust me. The BIG Rm shares bathroom w/ the bunk rm and wash/ dryer are In closet INSIDE BIG RM MASTER is Downstairs In smaller Rm OWNERS: D-stairs shower Hot/Cold is reversed . ADD Fans . Too much furniture . Need better broom. 3 stars on clean, my idea of clean is MUCH different Thankyou for early checkin !!

We love the playground and the pool right around the corner from the condo! And just a short walk away to Jekyll Island! As well as the bistro that’s inside the condo complex! Nice

Quiet place close by the ocean, safe and friendly
