`Charlie`s by the Bay` Unit 1

Charlie`s is a newly renovated first-floor apartment in downtown New Baltimore. Less than 50 feet from downtown, specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants, and a beautiful family park with a beach, pier, and free boat slips. The apartment offers 800 sq. ft. for a comfortable stay with one bedroom with a king-size bed & smart tv, a living room with a queen-size sleeper & smart tv, a fully equipped kitchen, and private laundry: Beach supplies, and a wagon. Any pet must be approved. STREET PARKING.

New Baltimore is a quiet, safe, and fun little town. Charlie`s is located downtown and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, beaches, shopping, and a kid`s playground. New Baltimore also offers a farmers market every Sunday and several seasonal festivals.

The apartment is 50 feet from downtown New Baltimore and you are within walking distance to several restaurants, shopping, bars, and the beach.

Please do not park between the wooded fence and the building.
STREET PARKING ONLY.

*Charlie`s dog policy: 250.00 non refundable pet fee, maximum 1 dog under 25 lbs pounds.
Your pet must be pre-approved by the host, and if you have a service dog, we still need to know the dog`s information. You will be charged an additional $100.00 for cleaning required for your service dog or pet, as it requires more time and extended cleaning. You must also curb after each time. Please, keep them off all furniture.

Great Place

Great place to stay. Host was very good at responding to questions. Nice touches throughout the place. Location is great as there are many restaurants and shops within very short walking distances. Will definitely be booking this place again!

SUPER nice, clean, convenient place to stay!

Charlie's by the Bay had SO many amenities that we didn't expect to use, but did. The side patio by the fire pit was a perfect spot for our small group to hang out in in the evenings. It's so close to Main Street for shopping, restaurants and bars, can't beat this location! It's super clean and updated with the little extras we enjoyed like the beach towels, small cooler bags, BIKES, keurig, etc. We will definitely be back again. Gina was the best host!

Good place and location

This is a wonderful property for us. It's location is really good for our circumstances as my mother in laws nursing home is right down the street. Gina has been a very generous host to us and this has been an answered prayer for our situation.

Charlie’s by the Bay has everything you need, from a day at the beach to preparing a homemade meal. Great location with beach, playground, shops, ice cream & restaurants all within walking distance. Very responsive host. This stay far exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to another visit!

Best Place in NB!

This cute little place was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. A short walk to the bakery? Beach, and farmers market on Sunday. The house had everything we needed and then some. I got very quick responses to my question over text. We will definitely be going back and staying at Charlie’s!

The host was gracious and communicative with us, and was extremely thoughtful with the many extra touches provided. Kitchen appliances such as air fryer, mixer, coffee and hot chocolate options and spices and condiments were all included. The cleanliness exceeded expectations. Bed and mattress were extremely comfortable. This is the best VRBO experience we have had in years!

Comfy home away from home!

We throughly enjoyed staying at Charlie’s by the Bay. The location is amazing, walking distance to great restaurants and Lake St Clair. We've stayed in MANY vrbo's over the years but I feel "hugged" when we come here. The place is comfortable and decorated nicely, practical kitchen and laundry but for me, it's little things that set Charlie's apart ... foil, baggies, detergent, paper towels, trash bags, night lights, kleenex, shampoo, bandaids ... so thank you!! We've really enjoyed staying at both Charlie's by the Bay apartments and I expect we'll be back!!

Nice location

Clean, homey place around the corner from some great restaurants, Christian bookstore, ice cream shop, and waterfront. Only heard noise from upstairs tenant one time. We traveled with a small dog and I was concerned with the lack of a grassy yard, but there is plenty of grass space just outside the front door. Great park about 10 minutes away and Marine City and St Clair 20-30 minutes away.

Next time in a situation like that always reachout as soon as you know. I always contact the guest the first day to make sure there arent any issues but i didn't hear back. Which isn't uncommon, some guest don't. My cleaning crew let me know all was well and thats why you received your review.

Best VRBO experience thus far.

This property's location and the results of a major interior renovation were beyond our expectations. The lay out of the unit was fantastic for a one bedroom / one bath. Everything was either brand new or beautifully restored by the owners or someone very skilled. The place is well furnished, abundantly stocked with extras, beach towels, beach bags ect. The only inaccurate amenities was it listed a hot tub (not seen), bikes ( only 1 each adult & child) A user guide for the TV operation would have useful.

Accommodating

We stayed here for the 2nd time September 22nd through October 4th. Though there was a couple hiccups, Gina was all over it. We had a glitch on our first night arriving with the keypad for entry forcing us to get a hotel instead (2 am) but Gina paid for the hotel, we were a little low on supplies and she personally brought us over what was needed. This location is convenient for us and it's in the heart of a nice little down town area close to the water. I would highly recommend staying here. Gina will make sure that your stay is a good one. Convenient Location

This was a great location for me and my wife. My mother in law is in a nursing facility 5 minutes away and we live out of state and plan to come back 4 times a year, this gives us a great staging location to the nursing home and all of our old friends. Nice apt, but with apts they come with neighbor noise but all in all it was good for us. Thanks
