The Premier Cabin has been featured in Outdoor Life and Log Home Living Magazines. Fantastic luxury log home offers open concept, cultured stone gas fireplace, beamed vaulted ceilings, 3BR, and 2 bath. Awesome kitchen, with gorgeous quartz counters. Wonderful master BR, master bath and loft on upper level. The Premier Cabin sleeps 6-8 people. It's a place to bring your family or laugh by the campfire with friends. This is a beautiful location with wildlife watching right from your wrap around deck. Sit in the rockers and just enjoy the sounds of nature. Or explore the surrounding area, as we are close to SIU, Crab Orchard Lake, Giant City State Park, and Shawnee Wine Trail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your meals. With a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, you'll be able to prepare wonderful meals if you choose. For added convenience we provide a washer and dryer.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
An off-site rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at this property. If guest are caught with a pet, guests may be subject to an immediate cancellation without refund. If evidence is found after your stay, there will be a $150 penalty for rule violation.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Firewood is available for purchase.
The stairs you see in the pictures are how to access the property. Not suitable for those with limited mobility.
A hobby farm is nearby with peacocks, chickens and other animals that roam free about the area. Therefore, a no pet policy is strictly enforced.
GPS will get you close but not exactly to the property. Please read directions carefully after booking.

We loved everything about this cabin! If you are looking for a spacious, beautiful cabin to spend time in with family, this is your place. The woodwork throughout the cabin is stunning. High ceilings, open spaces, plenty of space to cook meals, play games, and gather together. The Christmas tree this time of year was an extra special touch. Everything was clean, the bathroom toiletries were hotel-like, which I loved. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would stay here again!

The house is wonderful! We enjoyed having enough space for all 3 of us couples to have a friends weekend, 3 bedrooms with queen beds, a hot tub and a fire pit. Allison was an excellent host, making sure that everything was perfect for our stay and answering any questions immediately.

We had such a wonderful girls’ weekend at this cabin! The fire pit was perfect for a cozy evening by the fire, and the hot tub was just what we needed to relax and unwind. We loved watching the wildlife- so many deer, and even a few peacocks from next door came by for a visit! We got some great photos and truly enjoyed the peaceful, scenic setting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Perfect bachelorette weekend!

One of the best houses we’ve rented from! Very clean, plenty of linens, and everyone had more than enough space. Close enough to town to order DoorDash, but still has the ‘cabin in the woods’ feel. Best of both worlds!

Great cabin

Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We especially liked the outdoor fire pit and all the natural calls of nearby birds. Visits by deer and peacocks were good as well.

Great cabin with easy access to hiking

This cabin feels like it’s out in the middle of nowhere, but it’s a short drive to Carbondale and to Giant City State Park and the Shawnee National Forest. It had good amenities and was cozy and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Birthday get away

The cabin location is lovely. It is clean and welcoming, quiet and tucked away. The weather was heavy rain and cold our entire stay so we had no outside time. Very nice place!

Perfect family sized cabin

Cabin was accurately pictured. Beautiful layout for our family holiday. Located near hunting and the wine trail. The walk down to the farm to visit the animals (with permission) was a nice bonus.

Awesome getaway close enough to town

This cabin was beautiful, well kept, and on a cool mini resort with a farm. Fantastic view from the wrap around porch surrounded by nature. Plenty of space for a group of 5. Cabin is updated with all amenities. Location is quiet and far enough from neighboring cabins and farm. Close to town for anything you need and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great getaway!

This property is a perfect combination of secluded and peaceful and also close to shops and restaurants. Peacocks and deer frequently visit the house from the farm nearby. It was a nice break from the stress of everyday life.
