Galveston Escapes - Walk to Beach and Restaurants

The POWER is back - please book and Bring the whole family or come work remotely with a short walk to the Seawall Boulevard, and to the beach. The house is located just 3 small blocks from the seawall (0.24 mile), beach, and restaurants, and only 1 mile from Pleasure Pier. House has been renovated in the fall of 2022. With its central location, it is ideal for any outing on the island. Your pets are also welcome - we know they are part of the family. We invite you to stay and make memories that will last a lifetime!

IMPORTANT - if it is raining, please help us to protect the house: there are "sand socks" that are located by the front door on the bottom shelf. Please put them under the front door to prevent water from the outside leaking inside the house. The house is sloped so that the rain water may get in and the floor and rug in the living room would get wet. #galveston

We got off to a rocky start because the cleaning crew forgot to come by the property, so the place was dirty when we arrived.The hosts immediately got on the issue, and everything was resolved in a short time.The house is very comfortable, great sitting area, and the beds were very comfy.Great place to stay and well maintained.

Home was well maintained, obviously refurbished recently. Nice and comfortable. Nice backyard. Did not travel with children or pets, but would definitely like this property again with our 2 small pets. Little disappointed in no Kuerig, thought there was, and no TV in master bedroom. Both bathrooms very nicely done.

Father's day vacay

We had a nice stay. Good location and close to everything. Had an issue with cleaning crew after leaving, but a little research should clear all that up. Very nice Host that had great check-in instructions.

Perfect for our stay before cruising

The family needed a place to stay close to the port for a cruise. The house was perfect for the 6 of us! It was well kept and roomy. The kitchen is beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would stay again for sure.

Great Location!

My family and I booked for 1 night to take a cruise the following day, and the property was great, has plenty of room, fantastic kitchen, and all amenities you need. Location was convenient to stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property if your traveling to Galveston.

This house was in perfect condition! Great yard for our small dogs, great location - near the beach and restaurants, plenty of room for our family of 5! We would definitely book this place again. Highly recommend!

Initially my only complaint was the super squeaky bunkbed, completely unusable due to how loud it was.I think the host needs a different option than having their current guest take out the garbage from the previous guest. We arrived on friday, both of the "roll to the curb" dumpsters were so full at that point that the lids wouldn't shut. Its the currents guests responsibilty to take that garbage to the pick up spot so that there is somewhere for your own garbage. Our (group of 4) garbage piled up in the dining room floor until Wednesday.

Hidden gem

This house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still close to our favorite restaurants. The open floor plan was great for my elderly parents. Plenty of seating and the bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on.

great mini spring break trip

nice newly renovated house. good beds, bathrooms, shower, cable, wifi, kitchen, living room and back patio. its stocked with anything you might forget and clear instructions for check-in & out. close to the strand and seawall restaurants.

Cruise vacation

7 of us stayed at the house the night before our cruise. The outside of the home is dated but the inside has been nicely updated. I will say however, the kitchen floor has a soft spot that can be a trip hazard, the a/c couldn't keep up and the house got very warm overnight and the back yard and deck area looked unkept and a little overgrown. Barely Enuf parking for 2 cars. It was very convenient to the beach, restaurants and the cruise port.

The house was amazing even with the road work going on we had a lot of fun. The owners consistently communicated to us when we had questions. They were also nice and understanding. Definitely would stay here again!

A great home feel!

I was very pleased with the home. Only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. It's in the middle of everything. The host was very responsive to any requests. We had plenty of room for the kids. Too bad we couldn't stay longer to enjoy it more. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful!

We had a great stay in this close to the beach little dream house! It had everything we needed and it was so clean! The decorations were spot on for a beach trip! I would definitely rent from this host again as she was prompt in replies and even let us check in early! The house had everything we needed! Just a block or so down from the beach and to Guidos! No need to drive! Loved our time in Galveston!

Convenient Beach House

The house was well decorated had plenty of bed space and room for inflatable mattresses. Everything was clean, but there were some supplies missing (toliet paper, trash bags etc) so you may need to get extra supplies. Also there were a two roaches at the place. Aside from these issues, it's a decent stay for a group beach trip.

Overnight before cruise

This location was easy to get to. House was cute and functional. We encountered a couple issues while there. When came on a cold day and walked into the house and it was 56 degrees. Cleaning crew had just been there but didn't bother to turn heat on? Also the water was being weird. No hot water in the front two sinks. They sent a plumber to fix and he took care of the issue for us. I appreciate how quickly the owners responded and sent someone out. We would stay here again

Pets are welcome to all of our properties, except the condo where HOA does not permit pets for vacation short-term rentals. Quiet island neighborhood that is located near the beach and the center of the city. Offering 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath house that has been renovated in the fall of 2022. Open concept floor plan with 8'5" ceilings, kitchen overlooking the dining and living area, it brings family closer together every minute with love and laugh. Smart 55” Roku 4K TV in the living room and 32” smart TV in master. Steaming only - we do not subscribe to cable channels. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking tools, all utensils and new stainless steel appliances. Linens and towels are provided as well as basic bathroom necessities. Brita water filter and filtered water from refrigerator. Deep under-mounted sink w/high-arc faucet, pull-out sprayer & disposal. Master suite with attached bathroom. Fully fenced backyard with the deck accessible from master bedroom and dining room. Off street parking is available on the house driveway and plenty of street parking for additional cars. Load up the (included) house cart and check out the beach to soak up the sun and sand. Rubber tire trolley stop is a 2 block walk away on Seawall Blvd. Walk a block up the street and rent a golf cart, 4 wheel surrey, or a bike to get cruising around the island.
