Great property! Comfortable furnishings, spacious kitchen, spacious bathrooms. Everything looked new and worked well. Amazing view from the deck! Great place for children, bunkbeds as well as an outdoor fenced area to keep the littles away from the river. The pier is lighted and a great place to fish

Great Coastal Family Vacation Home

Beautiful, new, spacious and it had everything we needed for a our vacation. It's larger than in looks in the photos, great floor plan. Very close to the bait shop and the public boat launch. The road to the house is very hard to find but you can see the house from the main road. Loved it.

Family Vacay

This is actually our 2nd time to stay here! The house was very clean and has everything you and your family need! A couple little things were the dish wasn't working so only place to watch tv was the living room but kind of blessing and couldn't access the Wi-Fi. And wish the water didn't stink so bad but still we love this place and would stay here again and again!

Great getaway

This is a nice house with a large area under the house to grill and relax. Plenty of parking across from the house to park my truck and boat. The deck upstairs if nice and the house is nice. Right on the river and backs up to Snappers and close to Waynes bait camp. We will book this location again!

We enjoyed our trip

We come to Matagorda alot. We loved the stay. The house was nice and stocked well. Communication was not good from before even check in. I didn't receive check in information till the day before and was told the code but got there and the door was locked with no code box. Had to text to find the lockbox. No satellite on upstairs tvs which was a bummer for the kids. But the house was great. We loved it. All in all would stay again just wish communication was better.

Reeling Em Inn

Very nice property. Cleaning crew could have done a little better but not terrible. Repairs were being done and the materials were laying around which wasn't ideal with kids running around. Watch that last step coming down the stairs. The handrail doesn't come all the way down and we had two people fall at the bottom. We did enjoy our time there...Snappers is right behind property and we enjoyed that one evening.

A few surprises

LOTS of stairs. They use something to clean ceiling fans assuming that is what was all down one side of the master bed and dripped on the floor. I washed all sheets etc before laying down. A few maintenance items needed but not a big deal. Last step outside no railing so I fell only 1 time though. Outside grill was dirty. Big sign showing house for sale and host communication was poor. All else was great

cleanliness

Overall the place was clean, however, the floors had sand on them and in the closets. There were socks and used condom under the bed in the 2nd bedroom and there was food left in the refrigerator. Condiments left in the refrigerator. The light over the water did not work and we wanted to do some night fishing and we had no light.

I am so sorry about this and will talk with my cleaning lady. Basic condiments and seasonings are supplied as hospitality. I do leave my number for any questions or concerns, and you could’ve called me at any time about any of this and the fishing light. The light is a high voltage light, and it will sometimes flip a breaker, but does indeed work. Please just reach out next time if an issue occurs. We want the best for our guests!

Family Vacation

Margo was easy to reach and super flexible in any requests I had. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, enough towels were provided for all of us (9 adults and 3 toddlers). House is conveniently located to the beach, Snappers and the public boat dock. The fence was a super bonus especially for the little guys! We enjoyed the stay and would do it again.

Wonderful property

Lovely comfortable home did not disappoint! Had a snaffu with AC, but Margo is extremely responsive and it was taken care of quickly. (No worries! Just a battery needed!). Will definitely stay again
