There are 2 bedrooms that have king size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds with a twin bunk on each, and 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a twin daybed. The house features 3 bathrooms, 1 downstairs for easy access and 2 upstairs. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and the 2 bathrooms upstairs are equipped with a tub/shower combo. Enjoy a serene atmosphere where you can escape the everyday hustle. Located on the beautiful Colorado River, you can relax or fish off of the dock and watch the beautiful evening sunsets. The dock is equipped with fishing lights for those who love to night fish. The boat lift is not available. There is an outdoor bbq pit so bring your charcoal and grill to your heart's desire. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are fully stocked so you only need to bring your suitcase. Natalie was amazing she accommodated us with everything we needed we had a good time. She worked with us we checked in a little early and made it easy for us. I would stay there again.

It is a nice place, and the host is very responsive. Clean and has what you need. The only con is that it can be hard to find in the dark because the outside light isn't working and the house number stickers are small.

We had the most wonderful stay. Our host was wonderful. She communicated very quickly if I had any questions.. we had fun fishing and crabbing off the pier. The outdoor area was wonderful beautiful carpet grass no need for shoes at all.

My group came in for a charity fishing tournamant and just needed a place to sleep for the night. They loved the place, said it was perfect for them, plenty of space in each room!

Our host Natalie was great. She responded quickly to all emails. Natalie informed of check-in procedures early enough to make plans. We have stayed at this house for the past four or five years. The house is perfect for a big family. We enjoy not having to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of house. It would be nice if they would have a handrail for the three steps to the door though. My family loves this place and will continue to have our yearly beach vacation at the same house if they will have us.

The location is amazing! On the river but not on the main drive so cars aren’t zooming by just out the front door. We brought our boat and were able to tie it up in the covered boat slip even though the boat lift wasn’t available (bring ropes though as there are no cleats on the dock).It is a very spacious home and fit us all well! The kitchen was well stocked for making complete meals at home, just bring some disposable silverware as that supply was limited. The AC worked well downstairs and in half of the upstairs, but it seemed like one (out of three) unit wasn’t working at all so two rooms stayed quite warm over night. Gladly there were box fans available we used to pull cool air into those rooms. Be aware there is no wifi! Use it as an excuse to detach, relax, and enjoy the amazing sunsets (or use your hotspot!).

The host was most gracious and welcoming, the place was clean and immaculate. A perfect quiet get away after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Would definitely stay again. The only one minor thing was a hand rail on the outside steps. We had 2 people with bad knees and it was a little difficult for them getting up the steps.

The 4-bedroom house is spacious and accommodating. We all enjoyed our stay. However, we had trouble with finding enough toilet paper for all of the bathrooms. (Until we got in touch with the host.) It would have been nice to know that the towels were left in the dryer so that we could have towels for the upstairs bathrooms. Also, a handrail could have come in useful at the door carrying ice chests, etc. up the stairs.

What a GREAT place to spend time with the family. Great location to the river and the beach. AC was cold, spacious, the BACK PORCH was the best place in the house. Sat and drank coffee watching the river roll by. Kids fishing, birds, raccoons, dolphins, NO neighbors were home... It was Perfect!

One of the nicest places we have stayed during our yearly trips to Matagorda! The stairs were really steep to get up to the bedroom. Was fine for us but could be an issue for some people. There is no wi-fi so be sure to have a hot spot if you need to get online. Was roomy and very nicely decorated! We had 7 adults and 4 kiddos, there was plenty of room for everyone!
