Beach Front Home with Outstanding Views - Just a quick walk to the ocean.

RestAPI (Rest And Peace Included) is a fully equipped single-family beach front home that provides you with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. As you enter the home, you will feel the stress wash away. This ocean front home has outstanding views from the back patio; relax on the patio furniture or take a quick walk across the berm to the ocean.

Recently updated, this private home has three separate bedrooms and is the perfect getaway with uncrowded beaches, great fishing and a short walking distance to the piers, state park.

The property is equipped with high-speed internet, a full-sized kitchen with new appliances, washer and dryer, kitchenware, coffee/kcup, water cooler, linens, towels and grill. There is also an outdoor shower.

There are three very comfortable bedrooms; one of which contains bunk beds sleeping 5. The other two bedrooms sleep 2 each and there is a comfy fold out couch that will accommodate an additional person. This allows for comfortable sleeping up to 8.

The best experience ever. What a lovely home, recently remodeled, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and very well stocked with everything needed. Every one in my family absolutely loved staying at this property. Great views and location. Would love to be back one day.

Great place to stay!

What a great place to stay in Matagorda! The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything you need. The owner was wonderful to work with and shared so much useful information about the beach. We loved the ceiling in the living area and kitchen and the way every little extra space was use throughout the house. The A/C was nice a cold after coming in from the hear. It even had covered parking for one vehicle and plenty of parking on the cement drive way. We'll be going back soon!

Very relaxing family get away.

Property is in a great spot! A short walk over the dunes to get to the ocean. We saw deer while sitting on the balcony one morning. Owners are very responsive if have any questions. Great family trip and will be planning another stay soon.

The house was nice and clean All the kitchen supplies you would need very well stocked. Relatively short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed staying here.

Such a relaxing beach house! From the moment we walked in, we were met with comfortable furnishings, relaxing decor, and the peaceful sound of the ocean. The home provided everything we needed to cook family meals and provided extras we forgot to pack or ran out of, like bug spray and sunscreen. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes, at most. We can't wait to return, hopefully by the end of the summer!

Girls Trip!!

House is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need from cookware, bath towels and toilet paper. Only thing I didnt find was trash bags but we had all our own anyways. Porch is covered and overlooking the ocean and we were able to spend time outside while it was storming which was very relaxing. We saw 4 deer playing in the sand dunes during the rainstorm! The street that the house is on was extremely flooded when we left and I think if I was in a car I may have been a bit concerned however I wasnt and just plowed on through for a free undercarriage wash on my jeep! Would definately stay here again!

Great House

Perfect location to enjoy the beach at Matagorda. We drove our car with all our beach gear down to the beach (4x4 highly recommended) and then walked back and forth to the house during the day using the trail through the dunes. Shoes/sandals are needed for the trek through the dunes, as well as bug spray, but its a very easy walk. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and relax when not at the beach. I will book again when visiting Matagorda.

Songs from the shore!

This property is front and center to the beautiful sites and sounds of the Gulf. Accommodations couldn’t have been more perfect. Woke up 1st morning to 6 bucks grazing in the yard! The beach is about a 3 minute drive down the road from the house and excited to have added more to my sea glass and shell collection! Evenings were nice and relaxing out on the patio!

Very pleased

Great view of the ocean from the back balcony! Suprisingly at times we even saw deer around the back of the property both morning and evening. The house was smaller than we expected but suited our family of 7 fine. The house had all the stuff you will need. There were plenty of towels for both the shower and the beach if needed. The hosts were great and responsive! The only real downside to our trip was that there just isn’t much to do or restaurants in the area.

Great Host and location

Our stay got derailed when a tropical storm blew in the day we were supposed to arrive. The host was wonderful on keeping us up to date on weather/ road conditions in the area and was very accommodating to make the best of our stay. This was our 3rd stay in Matagorda and my favorite location so far.

Perfect house, perfect location!

This has to be the best house on the street! Super clean, well maintained, and has a perfect, unobstructed view of the beach from the porch. The huge covered porch was a blessing since it rained for part of our stay- plenty of room for friends and family to hang out. Hosts responded to messages promptly and were a blessing throughout our stay!

Hidden Gem

When it’s 110 at home, all I wanted was cool a/c. We got so much more! Fantastic views and the ocean breeze really made a huge difference—like 81* - amazing. The shaded deck was incredible. The home was impeccable. Very thoughtful amenities. Will return.

Wonderful Family Trip

The property was my favorite VRBO yet. Very clean, had everything someone could need. Close to the beach. Beds were comfortable. We had a great time and will be back!!

Family vacation

We have been staying on beach dr for almost a decade and this has been our favorite house so far!! The owners were so communicative and helpful, and their home is beautiful!! We had everything we needed, down to extra bug spray, band aids and the water cooler was a huge plus!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!!

2nd time customer

This is our second time staying here at this property. The back patio has a beautiful view and the house is well stocked with everything you could need. The fresh water cooler is an addition that I wish more places would provide. We will be returning a 3rd time we love it so much.

We (Steve and Karla) are Texas natives that have a love for the beach. We are both in the tech field which is why we named the home RestAPI.

Being on the beach was a priority and RESTAPI has become our home away from home. We have five kids, so we needed it to accommodate our crowd.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Being right on the beach where you can watch the surf, see deer, watch flocks of pelicans and watch shrimpers go by has been wonderful. The sound of the waves helps wash the stress away and is totally peaceful. Also, the sleeping accommodations has allowed us to handle our large family.
