Uniquely designed home perched right on the dunes of Matagorda Beach with unobstructed 180-degree views of the Gulf. Large entertaining space on ground level with outdoor shower, plus a spacious screened lower deck & open upper deck, both with panoramic ocean views. Inside you'll find 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and upstairs an open kitchen/living with 9' island, fireplace, 65" streaming TV and, best of all, large picture windows all around showcasing one of the best views on the Texas coast.

Wonderful Place

We stayed here with the family for a quick beach trip and couldn't have been more pleased. The views from the upstairs are probably the best views you will find in the entire area. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Trip

Our entire stay was excellent, from the balcony views to the beach house itself! Randy was super helpful in recommending dinner spots and grocery stores in the area. Kid friendly as well! Loved the sand box, games, and bunks. Thank you for a wonderful trip to Matagorda Bay

Gorgeous beach house with amazing views! Our family of 5 had everything we needed with plenty of space! I can’t decide which was my favorite, the porch swing on the screened-in lower deck, the views from the top deck or standing in the kitchen looking at my family with gorgeous Gulf Of Mexico waters through the windows. The layout of the home is perfect with the best views on the top floor with the kitchen and living space. We had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and the host was amazing! We are already looking forward to coming back!

Randy is a great communicator. House and host are both a 5/5 for sure. One small hiccup we didn't plan for was no available washer and dryer but please don't let that be a deterrent from booking this house, just come prepared. The views are great, beds are great, screened in porch is great, and for the fishermen...the fishing is great!

Love this Beach House - New Favorite in Gorda!

Love this beach house! The host provided excellent communication from start to finish. The home is new and beautiful, with stunning, unobstructed views from every angle. A very well thought out design and floor plan, this house is ready for any family to have fun. It's equipped with games, a sandbox, water toys, and swings under the deck. The outdoor shower is a perfect touch! The screened in porch on the 2nd story and 3rd story balcony have awesome views and we loved spending our evenings out there. This host and house have set themselves apart and this is our new favorite place to stay in Matagorda!

Randy’s Beach House Matagorda Beach Tx

This Beach House is just amazing! I am just a bit OCD so finding “that” rental off pics alone can at times be deceiving. Not so with Randy’s beach house. The online pics were beautiful but upon arriving it was all was taken to a whole different level. My favorite view was from the living room area. Waking up with a panoramic view of the ocean and then being able to walk out onto the deck and take in the ocean air is just something you cannot put into words. Have to be there! You will NOT be disappointed. Randy, the owner is very prompt in messaging you back with any questions you have and very helpful with getting you ready for your vaca stay. Looking forward to a summer rental.

Matagorda is what Texas beach towns used to be like. Local restaurants, laid-back, unpretentious and still a little bit wild. It is a unique, hidden gem on the Texas gulf coast. Situated at the intersection of the Colorado river, Intracoastal, Bays and the Gulf and surrounded by state park land. 23 miles of wide beaches with deep, soft sand and world-class fishing abound.

Just built in late 2023, unique octagonal-shaped home situated right on the dunes with 180 degree views of the ocean. Three levels of entertaining areas, one screened in and covered to stay out of the elements. The top level off the kitchen and living areas has unmatched views as far as you can see. Sunrise, sunset and the stars at night, the views can't be beat. Short walk through the beautiful dunes and you are on the beach.
