Papakea B204 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as a stunning ocean view, a washer/dryer, and air-conditioning! The condo can accommodate up to 4 guests with a King-size bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living space. The spacious main living area includes timeless furniture with Island-inspired decorations and a large flat-screen TV. For your comfort there's a window A/C to keep you cool, along with ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom

The tranquil bedroom featuring a King-size bed and ample storage space and a large flat-screen TV. Just off the hallway, the updated bathroom includes a large vanity space and a glass walk in shower. This 2nd-floor unit features a private lanai with a dining table for 2 and a lounge chair. Dine al fresco on the lanai while enjoying the view. A dining table for 4 is equipped in the unit so you may enjoy the view from inside with large sliding doors and windows. The fully equipped kitchen features full-size appliances. Ample counterspace makes meal prepping easy and provides additional counter seating for 3. Pack light! This unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

*** Papakea is currently undergoing a property-wide plumbing renovation. This condo is not under repair, however, please note the information below:
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
We have been notified that the project is pending completion, but not guaranteed by June 2026. ***

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

We rented from the condo next door last year.. Thinking most of the condos were well taken care of, we decided to rent from the same resort and management company. We arrived late and once at the condo the temp inside was 78 degrees. Turned in the AC unit and it ran for 20 minutes and shut off.. it continued to do that for 12 days. We continued to walk through the condo to get familiar and found several things amiss.. Dried food stuck to the counter, hair in the refrigerator, kick plate for the bathroom cabinets broken, bottom drawer in the bathroom broken, what appeared to be black mold in the grout in the shower, ceiling fan in the bedroom has a broken fan blade and could not use the fan as it was unbalanced, and the smoke detector removed from the wall and in a drawer in the kitchen. Called the management company the next morning and explained all the issues and received "I'm Sorry!" Maintenance came out the next day and we showed him all the items and he was as upset as we were.. I will think differently before I rent from there again.

Outdated and shabby

Wouldn't stay in this unit again. Other units are better maintained and have been modernized. This unit isn't just dated but needs a lot of work. Broken furniture on the lanai and in the living room, some cleanliness issues in the kitchen, nothing available to vacuum or sweep up floors while in the unit, clogged sink in the bathroom. The management company says they will address our concerns and did send a plumber to unclog the bathroom sink when we called. No issues with the sink after that. Pool noise travels and can be quite loud. Bed was comfortable and views were fabulous. Papakea is a great place for families with kids and the grounds are well maintained.

A perfect vacation

We loved our visit. Our condo was great, ant the staff was competent, helpful and friendly. If we could change anything we would have had a small fan in the condo to minimize our use of the A/C more. We had everything else we needed. Mahalo.

Nice resort

Nice condo complex. Pool and hot tub was good, beautiful backdrop of water, mountains and sunsets. The grounds are well taken care of. Condo unit was in decent shape, except shower door was broken and appliances need updating but otherwise could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Great accommodation and stunning views

Papakea is a great resort community just north of Ka'anapali. The unit was as described and included all the essentials including laundry pods!. The view was killer! The beach chairs and boogie boards were awesome. Minor improvements needed. The AC worked but may be on its last season - unit was comfortable but never cold and failed to keep entire Apt cool. Overall would recommend.

Great views, location and amenities

Our room had a stunning view. The only thing that I didn't like was that there is no beach. Rather, there is a sea wall with grass so you can either lounge by the pool or on grass behind the sea wall. I had expected to be able to walk out onto the beach from our room. The pool and grounds are fantastic and I think everyone gets a stunning view.

Excellent view and location!

We enjoyed our stay.. nice view and location. Clean condo. The AC is little weak and there is a small resort fee. Front desk very helpful.

AMAZING!

Everything was exactly as it was described and I would definitely stay in this unit again. View from the lanai was fantastic! My only complaint and/or suggestion is...please install a screen door for your lanai. This is essential, especially for those amazing Kaanapali Tradewinds and fresh air in general. Overall, I would highly recommend booking this unit :)

40th anniversary

Unit was clean and had a nice view, it could use a little updating, dishwasher was out of order, couldn’t get tv to work in bedroom, fans were not strong enough to move air to bedroom so we slept in living room where ac was. However I would stay here again, we have been to Lahaina before, I wouldn’t consider this area as downtown Lahaina.

Great location but desperately needs upgrades

Spent 7 days at this property. Overall the property is beautiful. Great views, pool and grounds. This condo is needing significant upgrades. Pros Location View off balcony Comfortable bed My Perfect Stays property management 5 stars! Cons Very dated Dishwasher was not working. When washed dishes the water drained onto the kitchen floor. When called it was fixed that day. Limited kitchen utensils Found a couple of cockroaches (we kept all food in the fridge) Few broken drawers We are not picky people but expect a certain level.

Schöner Urlaub, mit ein paar Abstrichen

+ *Tolle Lage *Schöne Anlage *Sehr gute Austattung von Küche und Utensilien *soweit alles vorhanden - *Sauberkeit - nur sehr oberfllächlich gereinigt seit Jahren *Abgewohnt, vor allem das Bad *Viele Staumöglichkeiten, welche man durch die Verwendung der Vermieter nicht nutzen kann. Wir mussten zu viert aus dem Koffer leben neben dem Schlafsofa *Laute Klimaanlage, welche unterdimensioniert ist. *Alle Klimaanlagen der Anlage sind nach vorne zu den Balkonen ausgebaut, weshalb es bereits beim Frühstück am Balkon laut wird.

Great locations and features....beautiful property...but the unit needs some maintenance upgrades/fixes. Dishwasher didn't work...called property manager and they sent someone...quick fix...I think they turned the water back on....Then after one run the fixed dishwasher started overflowing onto the rug and the sink backed up. Oh what fun. Shower Faucet was damaged...Lamp by A/C unit had exposed wires on the socket...Clock radio is dead...bedroom fan was annoyingly noisy....refrigerator door covered in something like mildew?...all little things...but annoying none-the-less. Fix these annoyances and the rating would be 5 star!

Great Condo and Location

The condo was perfect for our needs. This was a anniversary trip and the location was perfect with all the activities that we wanted to do (outside of touring the island) within 10 minutes of our location. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The sunsets were magnificent! Highly recommend the condo and location.

Surprised that the photos online matched the listing to a T! Love that they thought of everything including beaches chairs and a cooler! Beautiful property grounds. Loved the koi ponds. Absolutely loved the view! Definitely recommend!

Maui retreat

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo was a great location walking to the grocery store, food trucks, beaches and pathway to Whalers village. The condo had many things like the pool, bbq and view of the ocean which was amazing. The condo was clean and comfortable. A few things that I would like to see if some better cooking pans and a sharp knife. The was a little outdated and could a facelift. Overall the condo was nice, comfortable, close to many things, and would definitely rent again. Thank you for the condo rental!

First time to Hawaii

Pros: the property grounds are beautiful, great pool and jacuzzi, clear beach you can easily snorkel at, and lots of places walking distance to eat or buy groceries. The views from the balcony are spectacular. They provided beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler to borrow which was great. There are a lot of grills available on property to do a cookout. It’s a great property for families. Con:s: the shower did not look very clean, the AC is only a small unit in living room so the bedroom was very hot. Only one blanket for pull out couch shared by two kids and the king size bed in bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. I did request an extra fan for bedroom, extra blanket for kids, and padding for mattress which the accommodated and delivered, which was much appreciated. While the padding they delivered helped some we did not get great sleep because the bed was very uncomfortable, if the mattress or padding were improved I would give all 5 stars for better sleep.

Great stay

Clean Condo, lots of turtles! Had a great time and would definitely stay here again. I would recommend replacing that coffee pot though. It’s very old, doesn’t fit together right and makes awful coffee. Other than that everything was wonderful. I enjoyed how quite the property was.

Buyer beware

Renting was easy, communication excellent and common areas are well maintained. The unit however is in dire need of upgrading; - furniture is dirty, mismatched, old - appliances are rusty, worn, old - bed lumpy, springs coming through - bathroom tiles moldy, falling off - floors (wood, laminate, tiles) are beyond worn and grout looks dirty - bedrooms drawers were dirty inside - cupboards are worn and look dirty inside - ceiling fans are dangerously low, old I wanted to leave the moment I entered the unit. I would NOT recommend this unit as is and have photos if needed.

We were in Lahaina for a friend's 50th birthday and wanted a small condo near the water. The Papakea and the condo were perfect. The condo itself had all the amenities we needed for a quick 4 day trip. It's a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and just what we were looking for. The coffee pot didn't have a lid that fit, so there were a few messes at first, and only one beach towel each. They did provide beach chairs and coolers though, so that was a definate plus. Overall, I would recommend this condo, and the property. We had a wonderful time.

The Ocean View is Everything!

Where to begin…Papakea is a beautiful resort, well-kept grounds, laidback, beautiful pools and spas, BBQ grills surround the pool, a nice dining area with views of the ocean where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones or like our daughter—do homework. All of this as you hear the crashing waves of the ocean right there! We loved staying here for a family of 3. The condo had everything we needed to complete the stay from beach chairs/umbrella to cookwares and plenty of bath/beach/pool towels. Though the condo is outdated, it still functions to serve the purpose. The management team was very prompt in helping us to replace the kitchen faucet which stopped working after we were there for a day. We rate this condo 5 stars because of the location, prompt, friendly, and understanding customer service. The team goes above and beyond with taking care of your needs, if any. All in all, we’d stay here again. We miss being there.
