The room is clean when we checked in. The host is very responsive and keeps us updated on everything related to our stay, which is very appreciated by us. The kitchen is clean and has plenty of supplies ready for use. The parking is immediately at the doorway and only steps away from the front door. The host prepared maps, gams, beach towels and beach chairs for the guests convenience to explore the surrounding area. We had a pleasant stay here and would like to recommend this place to anyone who are looking for a home-style vacation in SD area.

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location and clean rental. Only downside is that it’s hard to park I. The drive way and pull out since the street is so busy but other than that it was a good experience

This was the perfect location for us. The place was right off the street but surprisingly quiet. was in close proximity to Mission Bay Beach/Park; San Diego zoo and Westfield UTC. Pacific beach is within 7 minutes driving. There are numerous fast food restaurants including In and Out Burger and Jack in the Box. Coronado Beach is also worth the drive. Not having to worry about parking every day was an added bonus. The place is small. It’s two bedrooms and depending on your family make up, it can be a challenge. This is ideal for families with 2 small children. The shower was amazing; great water pressure and never ran out of hot water or towels. We never used the kitchen. The stove is small but you could cook a pot of spaghetti with no problem. Four beach chairs were available which were perfect for the beach trips we took. Bonnie was very responsive to any questions we had.

Cutest place ever. Perfect for a family of 4. It came with beach towels and beach chairs which was very helpful since we went to the beach daily. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Bonnie!

Great location Very clean. Everything as described.Only comment is that the layout (2 x double bedrooms) suggests adult guests.So, my only comment would be that we would have preferred proper crockery rather than plastic plates and bowls.Also, and I'm sure this would apply to most English guests, a kettle would have been very much appreciated.All in all, we had a really good experience.

In town for our son’s SDSU graduation. Stayed three nights with four adults. Bed was comfy, house was spotless. Appreciated the ceiling fans, ice cube trays, parking spot. Exactly as described!

Great Stay in San Diego!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego. Beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. There were several restaurants within walking distance, which we took advantage of. The house is a short drive to the beach and not too far from other fun San Diego activities. I would recommend staying here! Thanks for a great vacation!

We had an amazing stay at Sand Dollar Villa! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The apartment was exactly as described, if not better.We felt right at home and had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress-free stay.The owner was incredibly accommodating and responsive.

Great Pacific Beach neighborhood

The unit was very clean. It was well-equipped for our needs. The listing is accurately represented. It is on a busy road, but the bedrooms are in the back, so it’s quiet for sleeping. Note: there is no place to sit outside. FYI- Apparently, we parked too far to the left, resulting in a call from VRBO threatening to cancel our booking. We subsequently saw that the host had messaged us on the app in regard to a fire lane, which is not marked. Also, larger vehicles will not fit in the space allotted, but there was street parking open in front of the property during our visit.A charming property; would stay here again.

Sand Dollar Villa was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay in San Diego and having this quaint & cozy place to ourselves was perfect! It was great for a family of 4 (with 2 almost teenagers), and walkable to several restaurants and a grocery store. A walk to the beach would be a little far if you're carrying everything with you, but doable. There are several beaches, 5-15min away by drive. Sea World is just 10min away and several other places we visited were all close by! We also had our own private parking spot in the driveway. We needed assistance a couple of times during our stay, and they responded right away! The beds were very comfy and having their beach towels & beach chairs available was so convenient. The house was very clean! We would definitely stay here again if we get back to San Diego!

Short weekend in San Diego

We had a family meetup for an event at MCRD. The house was perfect for us. Easy Uber access and the walk to all things needed was super easy. We would stay again

The home is very close to all local restaurants. You can ride bikes to the bay or to the ocean just minutes away. We enjoy the beautiful sunsets in Pacific Beach. We also enjoy roller skating, rollerblading, or taking a walk on the sand.
There is nothing like the energy you feel in Pacific Beach.

It is amazing how a lot of people are walking or riding the bikes as the average day temperature is mild and tropical 68 degrees year round!

Founded in 1887 Pacific Beach is part of the historic San Diego, The San Diego College of Letters opened in 1888 on Garnet Avenue. Many of the local hotels were built in the 1950s, and our home was also built during this time. We have updated our house to give the Mid-Century Modern feel with modern conveniences.
