Step back in time at Bolivar Del Mar, the vintage cottage with million dollar views of the Texas Gulf Coast on 2nd row. Enjoy this charming 3 bedroom 2 bath home with 2 decks facing the Gulf, sleeps 10 and is on one of the best sections of the Bolivar Peninsula. Take a short ride from the Galveston Ferry or on Highway 87 from Winnie to begin your adventure. This cottage has all the amenities you expect for a premium vacation home; WiFi, Apple TVs, washer/dryer, large fenced yard, full kitchen, BBQ pit and only steps from the sand of quiet Crenshaw Beach.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental had fire ants that got into our food in pantry the day we arrived. The rental didn’t have a sleeper sofa like described on Cobb. No air mattress. The photos showed different sofas. You need to update description. No pans for oven. No big pots. No bath mats. The queen bed needs work. The kitchen cabinet door were glasses are (the top left hinge came unscrewed) needs larger screws. The TV remote were hard figure out. The coffee pot stopped working, we had to unclog it. The upstairs was hot.

Easy check in, mostly everything we needed was there with the exception of a couple kitchen things like a pizza cutter. Worth nothing and wish the listing would have included this because I would have likely gone with another home but there is no master bed or bath. There is a bedroom downstairs I would consider a master but no bathroom connected. There are two rooms upstairs that also don’t have attached bathrooms. It’s more like a bunkhouse I guess and maybe be normal for the area but I was personally looking for a master with bathroom attached. Still a great day and everything was there that we needed for the most part only other thing that would’ve helped would’ve been some sort of area downstairs to store fishing poles, and things like that instead of having to haul them upstairs or keep them in a vehicle for security. Ended up just saying, screw it and leaving them out in the downstairs shower area and everything was fine. House was beautifully decorated, and we loved the two decks and all the windows facing the gulf!!

My entire family found it to very comfortable and accommodating, with enough room for us all. I plan on renting it again....would also be interested in purchasing if the owners should decide they would like to sell at some point! Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

Great family weekend getaway!

This was a great rental with anything we could have needed during our stay. There was one issue with downstairs lighting that was quickly resolved the next morning. The back yard is very large and was perfect for our dogs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect.
