Quaint Cottages Near Everything on Beach Road

Sand Dollar Cottage sleeps up to 6 with 2 queen size beds and a pull out couch. There are 2 bedrooms with a patio and a full size kitchen. There is 40 inch smart Flat Screen TV in the living room. At the entrance there is small room with a couple beach chairs. Our property is located by the mini golf courses, food trucks, and a bike and scooter rental place nearby. There is also a garden located on the property and plenty of parking. We look forward to hosting you at our cottage.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely— comfortable, and in a great location. The host was incredibly kind and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Loved this cute place Nothing fancy but perfectly functional for a 2 night stay and close to everything I came for! Communication was over the top outstanding! A storm was coming in and the owner kept me updated! Also recommended some local events going on. I'm already planning on coming back!

Jimmy was an excellent host and was very helpful with information about the property and the area in general. Communication was excellent. Location was great and a great spot to stay. Highly recommend.

Cozy and clean

Close to shops and restaurants, but off the main road and very peaceful. Cottage was very clean and cozy, host was very friendly and was very helpful with recommendations and general information. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous place to stay

Great location and peaceful, comfortable, lovely cottage. Jimmy was incredibly helpful and offered a chair for the beach, a beach pass, was accommodating about pets and adding days to a reservation, and gave recommendations for local events. Wouldn't rent anywhere else in the future if possible!

Host very accomodating

Jimmy worked hard to meet our ever need. Location is very central fir restaurants and getting to Assateague Island. Unit is basic with all the essentials, comfortable bed.

Just what we needed!

My family and I had a great time at this property! Check in was a breeze and Jimmy was super accommodating when we needed to adjust the timing of our departure. The place was as described and exactly what we needed! Plus my dog really enjoyed all the green space! We also absolutely loved the neighborhood, so easy to walk to food and shopping but the street itself had a lovely quiet, residential feel. Will definitely be back!

The location was just as described—right in the heart of town yet still peaceful for a relaxing stay. Check in was easy and the host was always easy to reach. The kitchen had most of the basics, though we noticed there wasn’t a pot. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong during our stay, and the place could use a little updating. Overall, it was fairly clean, but a few spots in the kitchen and bathroom could have been tidier, and we spotted a bit of pet hair. That said, it was a comfortable place for our family of four.

Pony swim trip

My 10 yr grand daughter and I came to Chincoteague for the annual pony swim. This house was in a perfect location to walk or drive everywhere we wanted to go. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Jimmy was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He helped make sure that we had a wonderful experience during the pony swim by inviting us to watch the pony’s swim from a friend’s dock. We hope to go back again next year.

Nice location

Clean, very minimal row house. Only over head lights, no shades on the only wall scones in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Flooring is laminate that has separated from the floor creating hugh bubbles. Very dated. Not very welcoming.

Last minute

We booked this at the very last minute so we could clean out our father’s home (he passed the week before). It was perfect for our needs. One caution…the grass has tiny little burrs that stick to socks and flip flops. Nothing to do about them but if you have a dog, check their paws. We were even able to add an additional night easily when the clean out took longer than we expected. I would recommend!

Nice place in the heart of Chincoteague!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sand Dollar Cottage #4. The bedrooms and living room are spacious, and it has a cute little sunroom in front, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning. The host provided beach chairs and a pass to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge! The kitchen is functional, but small. It was fine for my solo stay, but it would probably be tough to cook meals for four people. Ditto for the bathroom. Contrary to what I expected from previous reviews, the host *provided* towels and sheets. A pleasant surprise! The best part is the location!

Short stay at Chincoteague

We were all impressed with the size. Looking at the pictures, we thought the cottage was going to be a lot smaller, but it had a lot of room. Two bedrooms, a kitchenette, one bathroom, and a living room. The mud room was also a nice addition. It was perfect! The place was pretty clean overall. Some parts under the beds were dusty, but that wasn't really a problem. Everything else was clean. The service was very friendly and nice. It was a very sweet community. I would definitely use or recommend these quaint cottages again.

Perfect Getaway

Cozy cottage close to everything on the island. Very dog friendly. Jimmy was so nice, easy to reach by phone or text, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Very pleasant stay

Owner/Manager was extremely nice. Place was clean and orderly. Neighbors during our stay were very friendly. Overall very pleased with our trip and stay while in Chincoteague.
