Welcome to our Paradise Golfers Getaway Retreat at the Vista Waikoloa unit G204. Located in Waikoloa Beach Resort.

SPECIAL - 3 night minimum for this listing till December 31st.

Our condo is located on the Island of Hawaii, on the Kohala Coast. Come and explore our Island of Hawaii, from hike to a waterfall, take a tour of a coffee farms, try many ocean activities, drive up to Mauna Kea snow-capped mountain, then to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you can see how active Kilauea volcano is.

Centrally located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort, the Vista Waikoloa is within a mile from beach, golf courses, shops and restaurants. G204 offers one of the larger floor plans within the Vista condo complex, 1417 sq. ft and a spacious wrap-around lanai.

NEW Starting March 2025, Discounted Gold Golf Kings' Club Membership. Book this condo and you will be able to set up your tee time and golf at discounted rates.

Condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms and can accommodate 4 guests. The master suite has a king size bed, large screen tv and newly renovated full on-suite master bath. Also access to lanai were 2 new loungers for relaxing with a book or a glass of wine. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and a newly renovated on-suite full bath. Large living room with amazing views of the mountains and golf course. A newly renovated half bath located off of living room. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your stay. A new fridge just installed. Dining has seating for 6 and 2 bar stools at the counter. You also have a reserved parking stall. Lots of beach gear for you to use. FREE high speed WIFI and FREE parking.

    Great condo in a great spot

    We enjoyed our time at the property because of the golf course views, proximity to shopping, great area to walk, and a living space that worked for us. The pool was empty in the mornings and had sun all day long. Plan to return

    Things that the condo needs

    The condo was great. Did not have an outside table to eat. The shrub in front of patio needs to be taken down. Blocks the view of the golf course. The condo was perfect otherwise. Loved our stay

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was in a perfect position to be able to walk to the restaurants and play golf. We thought the apartment was a little tired and needed some work in particular the bathrooms- in the ensuite the bath couldn’t be used. The sheets and towels were rather old as well . Otherwise the apartment was very comfortable and we would stay there again.

    Home away from home

    Our family had a wonderful time on vacation on the Big Island, thanks in large part to this excellent condo. The arrangement had ample space so that each of the 3 of us could have time to themselves yet also come together for family meals, etc. The master bedroom was very comfortable, and having a private bathroom off the master suite was so convenient. Our 18-yr old son enjoyed having his own space as well. The balcony/lanai was a huge asset. I was so happy to drink my coffee outside (in January!) and watch the sun rise over Mauna Kea. We all enjoyed the pool on multiple occasions, and the beach towels provided for us were a great help. The location of the village, a relatively short drive from Kona airport, was so convenient. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping nearby at King’s and Queen’s centers. For longer day trips, we appreciated use of the cooler provided by the owner. Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher was super helpful when we had wet clothes from swimming, etc. Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would love to do so again in future. Highly recommend this property!

    Vista Waikoloa is a great place to stay

The heated pool is great, and the area is quiet, and within walking distance to ABay and Kings and Queens Marketplaces. G204 is a great location with mountain and golf course views. The lanai is large, and the unit is spacious. It was lightly furnished in the living room—just a L-couch and TV, no rug or many decor items. It seemed pretty empty. The bedrooms were well furnished. The twin beds in the secondary bedroom were not comfortable at all, so we bought foam toppers to make them bearable. The king bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable. The unit seemed to be clean at first glance, but it could use a deep clean (baseboards, under beds, etc). The kitchen and baths were clean. We didn’t have to contact management about anything, We would stay there again.

    Spacious condo, would return!

    Size, location and views! The 3rd bathroom was a bonus for our family of four with plenty of room to spread out, making it a economical option for 5-6. We liked the smaller condo complex as opposed to the nearby, pricey Hilton (spent a day there and would not return). Right in between a stroll to A-Bay or all the shops/restaurants, with the pool, bbqs with outdoor tv and kitchen, hot tubs and gym (more equipment than photos indicate), and sports bar steps away. Best beaches on the island only a 15 minute drive and we appreciated the condo's boogie boards, chairs, cooler, umbrella and snorkel gear. Michelle was a great communicator; we have experienced rentals whose "starter sets" of supplies meant we needed to shop for more toilet paper, etc. This was the not case here. If we would have one suggestion it would be for a set of wine glasses. Bottle opener gift was thoughtful, but we were laughing as we drank our wine out of coffee mugs (ha). All in all, we've bookmarked this VRBO for the future!

    Golfing Fun

The condo is a bit dated and really needs some new appliances & bedroom shades or blinds. The condo is very roomy but it would be nice to have more seating. The patio furniture is nice but one deck had no furniture. I would stay again but I do hope the owners put some investment into the kitchen appliances, take out the twin beds and put in a double/queen, get more deck/patio furniture and replace screen door and bedroom blinds. Dusting would be great too. The TV stand had not been dusted for some tim.

The flatware, serving pieces and overall kitchen supplies appeared to be a jumbled group of leftovers that someone didn’t want. Half a salad tong, 4 dinner forks and tea spoons, 5, salad forks and lots of soup spoons and knives 2 wineglasses Always washing them. 3 adult beach towels , 1child size Each bathroom had 4 bath towels that were meh. had to ask for more paper towel and dish soap along with hand dish soap that they were reluctant to bring. No outside eating area. All the furniture is huge so the throw pillows were welcome for back support . Nice beach equipment a plus Bring your own, salt pepper and a sharp knife. The haphazard kitchen supplies made it seem the owners don’t care about guests returning. The bed was comfortable, very limited drawer space.

    We really liked this condo and Waikoloa Vistas

    We stayed here for the month of February 2021 and fell in love with the Vistas complex. This condo has the best views in the complex along with its neighbor condo. All three mountains at sunrise are something you won't forget. The unit is very spacious and has a modern feel. We never needed to turn the air on. There was always a lovely breeze. We would recommend this unit to anyone! Thank you for everything Fred!

    Good Location

    Was an OK place to stay. Renovation is needed. I expected a starter pack of coffee for our first morning but nothing supplied. Would have been a nice perk. Bit of a mixed up kitchen. Plates of every size and design. No lid for the frying pan. Three food savers. Lots of space. Huge Lanai. Patio furniture nice after it was fixed. A new couch delivered while we were there. Was a huge improvement. Second bedroom very warm. Seemed like the AC didn’t work in there. A floor fan and open door improved it. Very close to the two malls and A Bay. It’s a nice area to stay. Ramona was very helpful with any problems/concerns. We stayed two months and a cleaner came twice. Appreciated that. I did buy cleaners to use in between. Check in instructions were excellent. Liked the key box at the door.

    Wonderful place to stay!

    My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay In January 2019. We loved staying at Fred's place! The location was excellent! It was only a 5 minute walk to A- Bay, and less than a 10 minute walk to the King or Queen's shops! The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed! We would definitely book again!

    Great condo

    We enjoyed the condo.....nice kitchen , bright and airy. Great lanai. You are on the golf course so.....early wake up . Once golf course mowing is over....very quiet. There were a few things missing....no dish towels, no beach towels...no laundry soap. Minor things but you do expect them .

    Comfortable and Convenient A'Bay Condo

    Waikoloa Beach is our favorite locale on the Big Island, and Vista Waikoloa is our preferred community because the units are spacious and conveniently located for access to A'Bay. This unit had all of the expected advantages of Vista Waikoloa, plus a lovely view of the golf course and mountains. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises on the lanai - over snow-covered volcanoes. Although it has not been remodeled like some other units, it was very clean and well-maintained -- everything we needed for a relaxing week on the Kohala Coast.
