Un corto paseo o en coche lo llevará a Spectacular Lake Michigan Beaches. ¡Disfruta de impresionantes puestas de sol y playas interminables! La sala de 3 estaciones proyectada tiene una cómoda área de bar y muebles, lo que permite a todos los huéspedes disfrutar del aire libre al estar en el interior. Este alquiler de vacaciones está ubicado en el centro y a minutos de antigüedades, senderos para bicicletas, golf, pesca, deportes acuáticos, canotaje, granjas, increíbles puestas de sol, playas orientadas al oeste para disfrutar al máximo, festivales, compras, motos de nieve, esquí, tubos, patinaje artístico, vino ¡País, mucho más! Accommodating for a large group and had a great layout. We were greeted at arrival with a cute s’mores basket all the kids enjoyed making in the fire pit. The sunroom overlooking the pool was perfect for rainy evenings. The location was perfect for us to easily access multiple nearby activities. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect for us, our son and his family including three grand kids under 7. House has tons of room and Kris has created a fun beach/vacation vibe with her decor. Pool is outstanding and screened in porch was awesome. Excellent location with St. Joseph (20 minutes) and South Haven (25 minutes) both close by. Kris was very responsive and made our stay easy.

They have almost every thing you could want to use for the property, lake and pool. Communication by owners was prompt and helpful. This was our second stay and will be returning!

Another great stay!

Truly a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Our plan was to enjoy the sun, the pool, and good eats and drink for a week and that's what we did! Love the privacy of the home, its proximity to so many different activities, and the many amenities on-site. Highly recommended!

Our family had a great time at this home. Being close to beaches was great. Having the pool in the back yard was an added bonus. The whole family loved it especially the kids.

Family fun

Our stay was extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for all ages. We spent most of our time poolside and on property. We had to make an effort to go to the lake, which is also easily accessible. The amount of stairs could pose a problem for anyone with mobility issues or small children. Overall, we would be happy to return for another visit!

Ready to return

The property had everything you could want for a perfect family vacation. The pool was large enough to entertain 6 kids and 4 adults with the additional outside space to cook out and sit around the fire. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Proximity to beaches and local shopping/farmers markets was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and we are ready to return!

Above and beyond

There are so many things about Krikit’s Retreat to love. The house, pool, fire pit area, the location (private, but close to everything in town & Silver Beach), amenities and host all vastly exceeded our expectations. All the little details made us really feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived! Kris was so responsive and helpful. I will 100% bring my family and friends back again!

Family Vscstion

Perfect get a way for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The pool and all the toys etc. was so enjoyable. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Except for the fact that there are many stairs and difficult for me to get up and down (knee surgery in a few days) I would rent this home again in a minute. The owner responded quickly with any question we had. Perfect location for beaches, golf and restaurants.

So very relaxing!

Our group of 7 girl friends enjoyed a week at Krikits Treat. We were blessed to have perfect weather so we could take advantage of the beautiful pool and surroundings every day, and the sun room overlooking the pool in the evenings. The home was very clean, kitchen is well stocked and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. Location is definitely secluded, which was perfect for our group, but close enough to a couple of coast towns to make a quick trip to the beach and shopping. Potential guests need to take note that the home is a quad level as indicated in the description if stairs are a concern.

Great spot for a family vacation

We (2 adults, 7 littles) had a great time. The few issues we had Kris was quick to address and was incredibly apologetic. She even brought our kids extra rafts and glow sticks for the 4th! Few notes: Pool: Not heated - it was super hot when we were there so it wasn’t too big of a deal, but would’ve been great to know that upfront. Aside from that the pool itself is FANTASTIC! It’s huge and the kids were in it all day, every day. Grill: Charcoal, not a huge deal just wasn’t in the listing Driveway: From the pictures we thought it was paved. Again not a huge deal at all, but the kids couldn’t use their scooters, rollerblades, etc. so just note you don’t need to bring that extra stuff! 😂 Beach: Unless we missed something is definitely not walkable, but a quick drive gets you to many beautiful beaches. Overall we had wonderful time and made so many amazing memories. Thanks Kris!!

Great location, practically between St Joseph and South Haven

Where do I start? First Kris was amazing to communicate with, we really didn't have any major issues just a couple of questions and she was so quick to answer and very polite as well. Upon our arrival she had the multicolored lights and music on in the sunroom, a bowl with treats for the grandchildren, which they loved. Second, the photos online DO NOT do it justice. We were amazed at how much better the house and pool looked in person (not that it didn't look good online). The house and pool both were extremely clean. For our 3 children and their families Christmas, we take them on a summer vacation every year. This year they told me that I exceeded their expectations with Krikits Treat. We spent 90% of our time at the house swimming and just enjoying each other's company. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 grandchildren. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable and very clean. Not one person complained about the beds being uncomfortable (usually at least one person does). The TV is very limited cable but she has fire sticks in the rooms that don't have smart TV's to watch Netflix, Hulu and such. But to be honest, my husband was the only one that watched TV ( he is not a swimmer) beside maybe one movie at night for the children. Besides the swimming pool area the back yard has a fire pit where we enjoyed a few fires and enjoyed the shade in the hammock in the afternoon. We have vacationed in Michigan several times but this has by far been the most relaxing. We all agreed that we will definitely go back to Krickits Treat sometime soon.

Yes, yes,yes!

This place was fantastic for my family! Besides myself, 4 of my adult children and spouses and 3 grandchildren also came. We all had plenty of room which the place had plenty of space. Clean! Lots of things to do....games, books and such. The pool was enjoyed by all! Time spent in yard with fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed this place! Also near great beaches and shops! We hope to come again!!,,

Great getaway!

We were very happy with the property and amenities! The spaciousness allowed the teenagers/young adults to hang out downstairs with plenty of space for the adults as well. The screened in patio was our favorite morning coffee spot and the pool was wonderful as well. Great property!

We had a wonderful time at this clean, well equipped vacation home. There were 9 of us from ages 66 down to a 2 year old and we all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The pool was the hit of the vacation where we spent most of our time. The house was roomy and originally 14 were supposed to be there, however due to job changes, 5 were not able to make it. It might have been a little tight for 14, but with all the extra couches and space we would have made it work. For 9 people, it was perfect. The house had all the amenities that were needed to have an awesome time. We would recommend this vacation home to others.

Krikits Vacation Rentals

Our four families stayed for a week in July 2021. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 6 children ages 2-16. We had a wonderful time. Our twin 2-year olds slept in our own pack-n-plays, but there were plenty of beds/futons available for the rest of our group and a set of towels for each guest. The property is clean and as described, pictured and reviewed. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and we all enjoyed gathering in the large, comfortable family room, too. We organized a fun family foosball tournament and spent some great time in the pool, even though the water is rather cold. The house is somewhat secluded; the pool area is very private and has plenty of deck chairs and patio tables. We spent lots of time relaxing on the screened porch overlooking the pool. A quad-level home does have many stairs but it was never a problem. Being close to Lake Michigan beaches and small towns was great for us and we appreciated the beach toys for the little ones. Overall, this is a very nice property.

As kids we grew up in the Lake Michigan Area and have always been in love with the pure fun and relaxation! When we had kids of our own we felt the need to buy a home and to own part of the sheer bliss that the Lake Michigan area has to offer. Generations in our family have all been a part of the area and we felt the need to continue the tradition. It is a perfect place to unwind and have fun and we hope you will love it as much as we do!

We love how secluded the home is! It is nestled behind some trees and perched on top of a hill. It is the perfect place for families to come together and have fun. Our favorite feature is of course the pool. It is the main attraction and the area where fun thrives! We also love the proximity to all of the attractions that we go to! This home is a perfect addition to our family and we hope our guests get as much enjoyment from it as we do!
