Lovely three bedroom home sleeping 5 located on the Bayside! Conveniently situated only 2.5 miles away from popular Mayflower Beach! Amenities include central air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, enclosed outside shower and gas grill just to name a few. The interior consists of three bedrooms, open concept living area and a beautifully updated kitchen. Access to Flax Pond, a perfect spot for launching a canoe or kayak.

Notable area restaurants and attractions include the Cape Playhouse, Cape Cinema, the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Scargo Cafe, Grumpy's cafe for delicious corned beef hash, the Underground Bakery, and the Marshside for water view dining.

Special Note: TV offers streaming services only. No cable.

Nice house quiet neighborhood only 1 issue

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very nice, clean, and very well described. The only issue we had was the fact that the exhaust from the natural gas hot water heater ended up in the outdoor shower. So while your trying to enjoy a nice outdoor shower you are literally breathing in the exhaust from the hot water heater. If I were you guys I would not use that plumbing contractor ever again, basement wide open could have put the exhaust anywhere along the outside of the house. pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Other than that the house was nice and what we expected. Also didn't love that you had to pick up and drop off keys from the rental office....could just add a lock box and not add another 15 minutes during checkout during that crucial timing to beat traffic back over the bridge.

Reviewer Comments: Agency handled things very well; we would recommend.We had a recurring problem with the smoke alarms for which the agency sent a repair person on the first 3 days of our stay; it was eventually corrected. (Part of the problem was caused by the owners.) A slow drain was cleared promptly. Had we looked carefully at the photos we would have realized that the dining area adjoining the kitchen was furnished with a bar height table and bar stools. This was uncomfortable for dining as well as for use as a work area. We made use of a round drop-leaf table but still no normal height chairs.The furniture that was provided was in excellent condition, clean and comfortable. This includes beds. The house was clean and easy to use. Because of weather we didn't make much use of the patio or grill, but seating was in good condition. Laundry equipment and kitchen appliances were in good condition and easy to use. We did not use the TV, but the internet connection functioned as expected.A couple of corrections to the information provided:- There is only the one bathroom, but there is also a toilet in the laundry room.- The stretch of Madison Rd from So. Yarmouth Rd to Signe Rd is a steepish and heavily eroded dirt road. It's OK for a vehicle with good road clearance, but we preferred to use Pond St or Elinor Rd and Flax St to approach Signe Rd.Location is a residential area, very quiet and pleasant. No great views, but a nice forested area close by. Except for the problem with furniture noted above, we would recommend the house.

We love being able to walk down to Flax Pond where my husband loves to fish. The house is fully stocked which made making meals at home easy. The house is close to many beaches, restaurants and shopping. We had a great time on the Cape and looking forward to returning next summer.
