One of the best locations in Kill Devil Hills on sought-after Bay Drive. Bay Drive Multi-Use Path is a great community feature in this neighborhood that stretches down the sound front with multiple community sound accesses, boat launch, community pier and parking to launch a kayak. The path leads to the Wright Brothers Monument, which is a 2.6 mile bike ride away!

After arriving at the cottage, walk up the spacious wrap around decking that boasts water views across Bay Drive. The first floor has a full kitchen, dining room, living room with smart TV, powder room and the master suite with private access to the backyard. The second level has two additional bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. There is a room in the back of the top level that joins the bedrooms and has one additional room. Great kids room or play area.

We had a beautiful stay at this location. The home was updated and clean with a gorgeous view of the sunset each evening. Very close to the beach and right by a great walking path for our dog. Highly recd.

Overall Impressed with my stay

The house is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. Cleanliness top notch. I hosted a very special birthday dinner and was ecstatic to see such a well equipped kitchen. A walking trail is located on the Sound directly in front of the house. Just a lovely experience from start to finish. Thank you Maria.

Would’ve been 5 stars

My stay was nearly perfect. The host could’ve been a bit more communicative. I didn’t get any details for check in until I reached out to the host 2 hours before checking in, wasn’t a big deal just would’ve liked a message that morning or them reach out to me rather than me request that information. Instructions were straightforward. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Only reason for giving it a 4 star review rather than 5 is because the details page advertised 2 dogs are welcome under 50 lbs each, which we followed but once we checked out I received 2 notices of additional pet fees. Which were not disclosed up front. Just ask about that when making the reservation with the host so there is no confusion about it. I was very much caught off guard. Other than that I would recommend to friends and family but I’d give them the heads up prior to booking.

Super house

We’d hoped to walk to the beach but the road you have to cross is near impossible. Otherwise the location is great! It’s quiet, clean, well decorated, and has amazing sunset views. The beach was more crowded than we like so since we had to drive we just went further south.

We loved staying here! The house is so comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. The location is great with a walking / bike oath across the street and the most amazing sunsets. Highly recommend this house!

Our family vacation

My husband and I took my mom with us to OBX and loved our time there together. We visited up and down the main roads of Kill Devil Hills, and over to Manteo to check out history.The house is in a nice neighborhood, and you feel safe in the house that is well-furnished and enjoyably next to a sheriff’s house and car. The kitchen is well-furnished—they have a great selection of spices, multiple coffee machines and an electric kettle, plus convenient serving dishes and utensils. The owners were responsive to contact and sent good information laying out the check-in, the stay, and checkout.

Great vacation home

Beautiful and well stocked house. We ran into an issue with the AC on the first day but the owners immediately sent someone to fix it. They were very kind and responsive. Beautiful sunset views from the house and deck. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great family Vacation house

*5/5 Stars - A Perfect Beach Getaway!* We just returned from an incredible week-long stay at "Kill Devils Hills," a beautiful vacation home in the Outer Banks. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of natural light and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach and close to all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook up a storm. The real highlight, though, was the spacious deck area, where we spent countless hours soaking up the sun, watching the sunset, and enjoying quality time with our family. The owners were super responsive and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We can't wait to come back and do it all again! *Pros:* - Beautifully decorated and well-maintained home - Perfect location - close to beach and amenities - Spacious deck area - Well-stocked kitchen - Responsive owners *Cons:* None! *Recommendation:* If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation with plenty of space to unwind, look no further than "Kill Devil’s Hill”

Great Place in OBX

Perfection at the Beach

I loved everything about this property - from the clean A/C (IYKYK), the Ugg blankets that were so cozy, the fully-stocked kitchen so we could make dinner and have reliable equipment. Great beach towels - I mean, I can't wait to go back to OBX and rent this property again. 10/10.

Great property, great location!

Very clean and up to date. This property had everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable and stylish! The location was also amazing. There is a great walking path right outside the door. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the water. I would definitely stay here again!

Another amazing stay!

This is our third stay and have enjoyed everytime. Owner is responsive and the house is always clean. The location and nearby walking path are some of best features! We'll be back!
