Welcome to Sunburst, your luxurious haven nestled along the pristine shores of Pawleys Island. This exquisite beachfront retreat epitomizes coastal elegance, offering an unparalleled fusion of breathtaking panoramas and refined comfort.

Sunburst boasts a blend of modern amenities and coastal charm. Featuring a well equipped kitchen adorned with sleek appliances and granite countertops, breakfast bar and large dining room table, a beverage refrigerator and two spacious living areas adorned with tasteful coastal décor. The first floor features two creek front bedrooms, each with one Queen bed and one Twin bed and a private bathroom in each. Up the stairs as you enter the second living area, you are greeted by panoramic views of the Pawleys Island Beach shoreline. Large flat screen TV and sufficient seating, guests can access two porches off of this living area to listen to the waves crash. The second floor features four bedrooms. The two creek front bedrooms each have one Queen bed and one Twin bed and a private bathroom in each. The South oceanfront bedroom includes one Queen with a private bathroom. The master suite features one King bed with a private bathroom featuring a soaker tub and shower.

Sunburst was home base for some of our family members, including my 95 year old mother...so the elevator was a necessity & very easy to operate. The view and location are amazing...especially from the upstairs sitting area. There’s plenty of parking at the Sunburst house, and being across the street from the Pawleys Island Chapel definitely gives a serene sensation.

Reviewer Comments: House was fantastic! It was perfect for us with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen but the best part was the outside porch. When it was very very windy or hot we could sit on the porch and still see the beach and hear the ocean. The only negative that upset some of the people with us is that they were doing some work outside on the landscaping and something got damaged on the side and the landscapers assumed we ran over it. May-be we did but the people in the house are very careful people and some felt offended. Also many cars used our driveway to turn around who were at an event at the chapel. Anything could have happened. We appreciated that we weren't charged for it.

I have stayed on Pawleys since a child in the late 50s. We used to own a house in the Birds Nest, on the south end. I have probably rented over 30 house in the past. This was the best, an absolutely beautiful home. Everything about it was awesome! Great for large groups with its six bedrooms and six and half baths. The elevator was critical as we were on older group. Beautiful decorated and simple.

House is SO clean, well designed, well equipped with needed supplies and in a fantastic location for views(from every room) and access to ocean and marsh. Very few properties have this many pluses! The company who manages home is absolutely first rate and provides service to make your vacation perfect. Pictures on site do not show addition of children’s day beds in four of the bedrooms. These have very comfortable mattresses and are extremely nice for families with young children! Would still have loved to see a side path allowed from garage/drive to back so that toys/equipment/chairs do not have to travel through house to get to beach. No easy way to get our ocean kayak to water...

The location of the house on the Beach and to the Marsh was awesome. The floorplan was excellent and had large bedrooms with each having their own bathroom. We enjoyed all of our meals at the house and the kitchen was ideal for cooking and dining. Would love to go back in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor activities.

House is in excellent condition, well-furnished and maintained. House is located on very quiet area on the Island but is only 10 minutes away from a Publix and Starbucks. Near many local seafood restaurants.This is our second stay in this House this year. Came with family in June and returned in November for golf and oyster roast on the house large BBQ grill. Very pleased with very professional service from Tidelife Vacation Rentals. We will return.

One of a kind In Pawleys

Ocean front to one of the most preteen beaches in the area that is not over crowded. Inside you will find a state of the art kitchen with great views 24/7 of the ocean and nighttime stars. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking forward to beautiful getaway. It is also just a 5 minute drive to any shopping and fine dining experience.

High School Friend Reunion

We were so very pleased with this property. The home is beautiful and was so perfectly set up for 6 couples. The covered porches made great gathering spaces no matter the weather The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The location and views are just perfect! The only suggestion we have is to increase the table seating indoors. We were a party of twelve and the table only seated 8. We have already booked for next year !

Great Place for Extended Family Beach Trip

We brought our sons and their families to Pawleys and this house was perfect. Adults and grandkids loved the beach of course, but also kayaking when the ocean was quiet. I wish all the beds were king size, some are queen, but everything was well appointed and clean. The marsh views are stunningly beautiful especially at sunset when we would sit on the outside deck. this is a large house with a large kitchen and plenty of space to accommodate a large family gathering. Highly recommended.

Paradise!!

We have traveled to many places around the world. This location is breathtaking. The views from every window were spectacular. Whether you were in the rear of the house and experiencing the energy of the ocean or in the front of the house watching the sunset over the tranquil marsh, there was constant beauty that embraced you. Loved the inside of the house as well.

The vacation rental is located in a great location with Ocean Front and Marsh/Creek with marsh walk. House is spacious with 6 bedrooms and private bath in each bedroom. Tidewater property management staff were great. Enjoyed several restaurants on the marsh in Murrels Inlet. Rented boat and spent day on the Intercostal waterway and went to Historic Georgetown for lunch. Shortcomings were ice maker that did not work and all outdoor furniture is in very poor condition. Two rocking chairs totally collapsed injuring folks sitting in them. All outside furniture needs to be replaced before someone is seriously injured.
