Luxurious, fully-renovated beachside condo at the Holiday Surf & Racquet Club in beautiful Destin, Florida.

This unit was completely renovated in 2022. Designed to offer the perfect getaway.

This one bedroom one bath condominium is direct Gulf-front at its best! Located at the ever-popular Holiday Surf and Racquet Club on exclusive Holiday Isle, a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. View sugar-white sand and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico right from your own living room and private balcony! You don't have to cross the road to enjoy the surf here.

Removed from US Highway 98 traffic, but minutes from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements. Walk or jog on Holiday Isle's two and a half miles of sidewalks, or bike through its quiet neighborhood streets. Nothing else in Destin can compare! This one bedroom, one bath, fourth floor unit sleeps four, with a king sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The fully-equipped kitchen with a view of the Gulf of Mexico! Enjoy complimentary beach service each day (2 chairs & 1 umbrella) with your condo rental from March 1 - October 31. Note: Minimum rental age 25. Association has a strict no pets policy.

Just outside Holiday Surf's door you can step into our heated pool or take a few steps across sugar white sand to swim in the beautiful emerald green water of the Gulf of Mexico. The Holiday Surf & Racquet Club has undergone major exterior improvements in the last year and the complex includes many amenities such as a pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, BBQ grills, men and women exercise rooms, sauna, and a large conference room with fully-equipped kitchen. It is close to many great restaurants, Harborwalk Village, The Track, & Big Kahuna's to name a few. Opportunities for windsurfing, parasailing, snorkeling, and fishing can be found along the beach too.

Work-from-home? More like work-from-paradise! The unit also comes equipped with free wireless internet and a beautiful office area. Send your last email of the day then step out your door to put your toes in the sand!

Safe and beautiful

We stayed here for 8 days 7 nights during 4th of July and it was a wonderful experience. We traveled as 3 women/girls and felt safe the entire stay. We loved that a sheriff was on the property as well. Everyone was friendly and respectful and I really appreciated that. The condo was nice, clean and very updated. We would definitely stay here again!

Simply Perfect

Ideal location right on the beach. Comfortable accommodations with everything you need to enjoy time away from home - this is like home away from home....just perfect!! A few interruptions during our stay (changing filters, spraying and a modem/cable system installation) but no inconvenience whatsoever.

This was perfect for my husband, grandson, and me. We had a wonderful time.

Very clean, safe. Heated pool, right on the ocean. Our Grandson loved it & didn’t want to leave. The only negative would be the air conditioning. It didn’t respond to the thermostat settings, and always felt too warm.

Making memories

My husband, child, and I had an amazing stay. The location was beautiful and the room was perfect. We came for our 7th wedding anniversary and our little boys (almost) fourth birthday. It was a perfect place for some memorable family time in the sun. We will be returning.

Cleanliness was an issue.

The property appeared beautiful but, we were greeted with a strong, unpleasant odor upon arrival, which resembled urine. The bathroom, particularly the bathtub, was not clean. Upon notifying management, they confirmed the issue and identified the source of the odor as stagnant water behind the tub. Despite their efforts, including an ozone treatment and application of cleaning agents, the problem persisted for the first two days of our stay. We were informed that a contractor would need to address the issue after our departure. The ozone treatment eventually resolved the odor, but the first two days were disrupted, particularly with young children. While we appreciate the staff's efforts to address the situation, this experience has led us to decide against returning to this specific unit. We have previously enjoyed other units at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club and value the overall property, but we cannot recommend this particular room.

The building looked older and needs some updating, but the actual apartment/venue was really nice. Decor was a nice. Everything was upgraded with top of the line appliances. The bed was comfortable. Great access to the beach. Beach view from balcony.

Beautiful Calming retreat

Beautiful restful decor. Highend look. I have been coming to Destin for years. This person got it so right on decor. Loved everthing about our stay. Condo management could up their game with pots of flowers at entrys which are not very welcoming and could spruce up decor at elevator entries with art and plants. Tons of empty pots at gate could be used. That was my first impression of building.413👍

Loved the Heron’s Nest

Everything about the Hero ‘s Nest was great! I will definitely come back. Very nicely stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, loved all the hooks, outlets. Nice new quiet appliances, spacious, Loved the pickle ball courts, chair service, water/ice in frig door. All the comforts of home! TP is lame but just byo! Great condo!!!

Come with everything you need

The property is awesome but they only give you two rolls of toilet papers and very minimal supplies you will need to cook as you are not close to any restaurants. Disappointed with what the VRBO comes supplied with compared to others I have stayed at. Clean and friendly staff but not impressed with the room itself.

Highly Recommend

I enjoyed my stay overall, no complaints, everyone was extremely nice and the property itself was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing view of the beach and it was literally a 2 minute walk if that to get on the beach itself. I was also pretty close to a lot of the main attractions in the area. I will be returning in the future!
