Spectacular view - great experience - we'll be back!

The house feels so much more like a home than a rental property. Our host Claire was super responsive and we felt welcome even before we arrived. Everything was super clean and the whole place was much better-equipped than other rental properties. The bedrooms feel much more private than you'd expect in a typical beach rental. We loved that there was so much room upstairs for the kids to play and that they had their own full bath. The layout is perfect for a group to be all together and when you want some alone time, the deck, the dock area, the yard itself, and the outdoor dining area make that easy, too. The water was surprisingly warm and is shallow enough near the dock for our 10 and 11-year-old grandsons to stand up in. Being on the island meant quiet streets, little to no car traffic, and no crush of people. The view is spectacular and mesmerizing. My husband said he could live here happily for the rest of his life; my son and daughter-in-law said that this has ruined any future vacation locations for them because they couldn't live up to this one, and the grands said they want us to make this an annual family tradition. I concur.

Splendid!

Perfect location. House was very comfortable. Furnished nicely with all needed amenities. Claire, the owner, takes pride in her home and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Much more to the house than the listing shows. I would recommend contacting owner for all information. She was super helpful. Our favorite part was the outside area with the most beautiful sunsets. Wish we had more time there! Thanks Claire!

Loved this house and location

We had a great stay. Claire, the house owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with and really cared about our experience. The house was very clean and in the perfect spot on the bay. Just a great shore house. The views are amazing. You get both the sunrise and sunset. The house is well equipped and slept 10 of us pretty comfortably. The backyard area on the bay is awesome. The Pelican Island location is close to everything and on a nice quiet street. We went into this not knowing much and could not have been happier with the house and the location. Claire was the best.to deal with. We loved it!

Awesome view - roomy - well equipped

This was an awesome place to stay. The host, Claire was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed. The home is well equipped and had 3 bedrooms downstairs and a super huge loft with 5 beds. There were two inside eating areas plus plenty of seating outside. We had use of beach chairs, umbrellas and even a small pool for the younger children. You will not be disappointed! This is a dream come true! You will love it! Arlene

Beautiful house with the best view and amenities

First vacation after covid and renting a place in almost a year and a half. Claire made the whole process really well managed and so smooth. About the place, it is really rustic, clean and the view is to die for. The rooms were really nice and spacious. We had kids who enjoyed the games, the room upstairs and all the surprises to explore. Well situated, very close to the beach. The sun room is very beautiful.. spend a lot of time there. Hats off to Claire, who kept in touch to make sure we were all comfortably settled in.

Wonderful House and Host

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Right from the start the check in was easy and the house was super clean and welcoming. More like a home than a typical shore house rental. The huge room upstairs with five beds and a separate bathroom really provided plenty of space for everyone. Plenty of parking and very well equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed being on the bay and took full advantage of being by the water. The sunsets are amazing. Claire was very accommodating and easy to reach for anything. The neighborhood is family friendly and quiet. The home is the perfect distance to the Seaside boardwalk and the beach, stores and restaurants of Ortley Beach, Seaside Heights, and Lavallette. Can't recommend this home enough!
