Welcome to the Lake Bum Lodge on beautiful Lake George. Located on the east side of the lake in quiet Harris Bay. Come, relax and put your feet up. The house offers five spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, sunroom with large glass panoramic windows to take in all the beauty of the sloping lawn and lake views. This home has all the comfort and convenience needed while visiting the beautiful Adirondacks! located in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street very close to Lake George village and outlets. 4 parking spots

Enjoyed location right on the lake. Easy access to lake with shallow sandy bottom dockside. We had fun using kayaks and stand up paddle boards which were available at property.

We had a great time and really LOVED the house!!! From the beautiful views of the lake to the peaceful wind chimes! I appreciated being able to see the lake even while in the kitchen. Everything turned out wonderful! I would definitely come back!

Beautiful 5 bedroom vacation home with direct water access and boat dock for our rental. This was our second time at this property and we love it. There's a sandy swim area with steps into the water, perfect for our grandson and ourselves. Washer/dryer is a nice amenity. Sunsets are beautiful. Host has thought of everything and responds quickly to communication.
I was able to snap a photo from the family room of our grandson reeling in a fish with his dad.
Nice fire area, with gentle slope down to the water.

Great family amenities

I reserved this house for the week of the Fourth of July, and my family had a blast. We were impressed with the various living areas in the house, the beautiful view, and the peaceful cove. The owners included lots of thoughtful touches like kayaks, fishing poles, and even ingredients for s’mores. We rented a boat and enjoyed every day of our stay. There were a few unwelcome house guests (spiders) but this is hard to avoid on a wooded lot. Overall the house is the perfect spot for a relaxed family vacation.

Perfect family vacation

This house was amazing and checked all the boxes for our multigenerational group. The location can’t be beat and the lakefront /swimming area was so easy for young kids. The owners provided kayaks and paddle boards and we rented a boat right down the road. We hope to stay here again!

Smore's, water and colored leaves

This was a great place for a family to stay. The location was quiet and close to the activities that we came for. Greeted by a basket with the supplies to make smores around the outdoor fire pit. Big hit with the kids. Great for a family get away

Perfect for a large family

The property was perfect for our large family (6 adults and 6 children). The house is larger than it looks in the pictures and the setting is beautiful. Morgan was a gracious and responsive host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful lake house!

The house is even better in person. So many beautiful amenities and we really enjoyed having a small shallow area to swim in. Ducks would often come right up to the dock. Beautiful firepit and grill area. Very accommodating host. We rented a boat and loved having a dock to keep it at overnight. It was a perfect house for a family vacation!

The house and location was perfect. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. The house is clean spacious and equipped to entertain with a bar and a beautiful room facing the water with large windows! We will definitely be back.

Perfect Family Vacation

I couldn’t recommend this house more! Perfect location and size for a family getaway. The house itself is even more spacious then the listing pictures shows. The private backyard is large and well manicured on top of having a beautiful view of lake George. We rented a boat from a marina about 20 minutes away and it was convenient to have a slip and park the boat right at the house. Morgan was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Lake George with a larger group. We hope to be back next year!!

Family Vacation

We had a great time on our second annual family vacation. The house is more spacious than the pictures. We traveled with 6 adults and 4 kids (6 and under) and there was more than enough space to sleep and multiple living spaces. The dock was great and perfect for the kids to swim and kayak/paddle board. A small issue with the AC that Evan and Morgan responded to before we even notified them, the unexpected issue was quickly fixed and because of this we had the pleasure of meeting them both, and they were so kind and generous. Location was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and vacation!

The home is an outstanding lake house! Everything we wanted to vacation with our family. There’s a queen bedroom downstairs that was convenient with grandma and grandpa. It has gentle sloping, green grass and path down to the water. The house is on a quiet section of the lake and offered a swim area with friendly ducks, kayaks, a paddle board and dock for us to tie our rented pontoon to. We enjoyed the fire ring with 8 new, matching Adirondack chairs and firewood was provided. Inside, the home was spacious with several different seating areas for chatting, watching tv, napping or just gazing through the wall of large, glass windows down to the lake. Plenty of bedrooms and parking as well. I would book this again.

Long weekend Lake George getaway

Lovely cottage situated right on the lake made for a wonderful family trip for all. Kids enjoyed fishing, s’mores making and the arcades and Octoberfest festival in Lake George Village. Would stay again and highly reccomend for families.

Thank You For Helping Us Make Memories

"Wow!" We must have said it 100 times this weekend. Every time we looked out the back window and caught a glimpse of the lake, or the beautiful pink sunsets, or even the chipmunks (some of are from "out of town") we were memorized. Or, "Wow, the host left us a cute gift basket with wine, S'mores a note about or Girls Weekend." So thoughtful! Then, "Wow, the décor and the bedrooms are so cute. This place is awesome!" Finally, "wow this dock has to be the best spot on the lake to sit and chill." Thank you Morgan and Evan. It was a weekend that we will all remember for a very long time. The talks by the firepit and over coffee in the sunroom in the mornings were magical. You guys have created an atmosphere that is so warm and so breathtaking. We are very very lucky to have found you and this wonderful property. We will be back!

Being at Lake George in the fall is beautiful. This home was a great place for 6 retired friends to get away before winter sets in. Great views and plenty of room!

Fantastic spot for family and friends

An amazing home right on the water on one of the best streets on lake George! Water was perfect for young kids to play in and quiet away from big waves. House was made for fun, family and friends and the host was very helpful from planning to support during the trip! Hope it becomes an annual retreat!

Awesome Stay with Wonderful Host

Lake George is beautiful, and this home is right on the water in a calm Bay. We rented a boat, and there was plenty of space to dock safely. The house has a lot of space and bedrooms where you could likely have a family reunion or multiple family/friends. We had a very minor issue, and Morgan jumped right on it and was a delight. Great trip, and it was hard to leave!

Great, quiet spot on LG!

We slept 9 men comfortably in this house, with no one sharing beds. The location is off a private road and in a quiet area of the lake (lower east side). The house is on lake, easily accessible for swimming, fishing and kayaking. The country store a 5 minute walk from the house came in handy for breakfast, snacks and beer runs. The house is about 10-15 minutes from Lake George Village. We rented a boat in a marina 5 min away and had a great day on the lake. Top of the World Golf course is a neat course 15 minutes away. So overall we enjoyed the location. The house was very clean, especially beds and bathrooms which is most important. Just an FYI there is no cable but there are smart TVs so could idea to bring a Firestick/Chromecast. Overall a great place to stay for medium sized groups.
