Ideal para un recorrido por la antigua Roma. El apartamento de 80 m2 (2 dormitorios, capacidad para 5 personas, sala de estar con cocina, baño, balcón, internet WIFI, TV satélite, aire acondicionado, calefacción y ascensor) con vistas a la Basílica de San Peter se encuentra en el centro de Roma, a solo 100 metros de la basílica de San Peter. El apartamento está en el 4to piso y está equipado con un ascensor. Primer dormitorio: cama doble y cama individual. Segunda habitación: cama doble.
El apartamento está en una zona tranquila. Todos los lugares importantes (St. Peter, los Museos Vaticanos, el Coliseo, el Campo de 'Fiori, la Plaza de España, la Fontana di Trevi, la Piazza Navona), son fácilmente accesibles a pie o en autobús y metro. El apartamento es ideal para quienes vienen a Roma en coche, ya que se encuentra en una calle privada donde se puede aparcar fácilmente y de forma gratuita. Great location next to Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica

The location was great and there were lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, but the mattresses are not the most comfortable and could use an upgrade. Emedio was extremely helpful and on top of all of our needs during our stay.

Nice place, could be great.

This is a nice apartment but it needs some updating. Old furnishings. The washer is so old it left our clothes wet. Don’t plan to wash your clothes here. Light fixtures had only one working bulb. Sheets don’t fit on the bed. Must take trash out but you have to find a bin. Nice location, near bus stops. It’s near the Vatican but is a 25 minute walk to the entry. Quiet and comfortable. Would be nice to have a chair on the balcony.

Superb experience all round

From the moment we found the apartment on the website to our very last day the whole experience was superb. As previous reviews state, Emidio is a great guy who made the whole experience stress free. The apartment is beautiful and on arrival we met Emidio and his lovely Mum , both of who you could tell were very proud of the apartment and rightly so. It is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is amazing and you can see the dome of St Peters while making your morning coffee! Everything you could possibly need is included in the apartment. There is a little balcony off the larger bedroom which attracts the tea time sunshine. Emidio is very quick at replying to any emails you send him so do not hesitate to contact him with any queries you may have. He arranged transport to and from the airport for us and the drivers arrived on time and were very helpful with the cases etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to return one day. Thank you Emidio and Signora Minder for making our holiday even more special.

Best location!

We visited Italy for two weeks and stayed in Venice, Florence and the last week in Rome. Emidio was so nice and he did more than the other people from the other apartments did. After he explained everything in the apartment he gave us a tour of where everything was around the apartment. We were very thankful that he did. This place is in a safe neighbourhood few minutes from the Vatican. There is a police station at the corner of the street. You can walk safely home at night. We liked the fact that we can see the Basilica from our windows. We stayed on the 5th floor. There is a washing machine, in the apartment, which we appreciated a lot. Within few minutes walk you will find a grocery, lot's of restaurants, banks, postal office, coffee place, a gelato place and more. We took the bus at the corner of the street to visit Borghese Museum and the Colosseum. If you wish he can arrange transportation for you to the airport, which I recommend. We met his mom and she is so nice. The apartment was very clean, much better than some high end hotels I stayed before. Our favorite restaurant was Osteria dei Pontefici, which is few steps away from the apartment. The food was so good and we ate at this place couple times during our stay. Also we had questions during our stay and Emidio replied quickly. I recommend this place and would stay there again.

Beautiful Apartment in the Perfect Location

From the moment we first made arrangements to stay in this wonderful apartment, Emidio was pleasant and helpful. He provided me with maps and information to reach his location, and was even nice enough to advise me on approximate taxi fares (as a Native New Yorker, I appreciated this tremendously). Upon reaching the apartment, Emidio met my family and I at the door, assisted us with our bags, and gave us a tour of the neighborhood, including local restaurants, banks and supermarkets. The apartment is very well kept, beautifully appointed, and contains everything a travelling family could need. The pictures do not begin to do it justice, and the apartment is even more spacious than it appears. The first night of our stay, on Emidio's recommendation, we dined at Osteria dei Pontefici, which is mere steps away from the apartment. The food was excellent and we were happy to have been pointed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this property to any and all visitors to Rome. It is centrally located and travel to all major attractions was easy and quick. I can honestly say without reservations that this apartment is an absolute bargain that includes top-notch hospitality from the owner, and my only regret is not having been able to extend my stay. I will be sure to remedy that with a longer Roman holiday the next time around. My sincerest thanks and commendation to Emidio for a five star stay!

What a nice place!

I booked this trip for my mum, because she always wanted to visit Rome to attend the Papal Mass and I chose this apartment, because it was close to the Vatican. When we arrived Emidio was there to meet us. He was very friendly and gave us good tips for our stay (the gelato and the restaurant across the street were amazing!). The apartment was really clean and had a good size . It’s one the best places with the best service I have been to and I do travel all over the world for business. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Holiday, Wonderful Apartment

The owner Emidio is fantastic! before we had left England he had provided us with information, and recommendations for tickets to sights, and booked our transport from the airport to the apartment. Our Arrival in Rome was wonderfully received by Emidio at the apartment, followed by a walk around the neighbourhood to find the best places to buy groceries, ATM, Letter Boxes, Tabac - for purchasing bus tickets, and the railway station. We also had the opportunity to ask Emidio about getting to the waterpark by Bus - Hydro Mania - worth a visit! I would recommend trying every flavour of ice cream at Captin Cone, we tried to have at least two a day. Check when you travel but on certain days entrance to the Colosseum and the Vatican museums are free! Usually either the first or last sunday of the month. If travelling with a small child in a pushchair then go directly to the front of a queue as they 'usually' will let you straight in so that you don't queue in the sun. I would recommend eating at the restaurant 'Papa Rex' which is nearby. The apartment was beautifully clean and supplied with cleaning equipment for during your stay. It was located in a really great place, walking distance to the Vatican and on a really good bus route to get everywhere else really quickly. Thank you Emidio for a wonderful holiday in your apartment.

Beautiful apartment with a wonderful view

This is a bright, clean welcoming apartment with a wonderful view of St Peter's dome from the windows. We were met at the door by Emidio, a very gracious and helpful owner who showed us round the apartment then took us on a short walk around the local area pointing out good restaurants, shops and explained how and where to catch the bus. He was also happy for us to call him anytime during our stay with any questions we had. The apartment itself is in the perfect area if you wish to visit the Vatican City, which is just 5 minutes walk across the road. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable with air conditioning units. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has a nice shower. Large soft towels are also provided. The area is quiet throughout the day and night. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying again myself.

Fabulous place to stay!

Our family was in Italy visiting our child in the Military who is stationed near Venice. We drove to Rome and stayed for 3 nights. It was a wonderful "home away from home"!! Walking distance to Vatican City and many other sights close by! Emidio is a wonderful host! He gave us a tour of the closest places to buy groceries, eat dinner, get gelato, and provided a bus and train schedule with times, etc. It was extremely clean, comfortable and has wifi (which the children loved) We would certainly recommend this rental to our friends, family and anyone who looks for a place to stay in Rome. Very Nice Apartment & Helpful Host

A very nice cosy apartment, right next to the Vatican. Everything was as pictured and actually nicer in person. Exceptionally clean! The area seemed very safe. There are bus stops along the main street, steps from the apartment. The best & cheapest way to get around Rome to see the sights is by bus (lines 916, 87, 64). Looking at a map of the city, you would think everything is so spread out, but actually everything is closer then you might think. The best restaurant closest to the apartment (just across the main street to the left) was Papa Rex. Finally, the host, Emidio was very helpful. He and his mother were at the apartment when we arrived and they gave us a tour of the neighborhood. There is a bank, a little health supply store (laundry soap, sanitary napkins, hair color, etc.), market, post office. Emidio was kind enough to arrange our airport transfers for us and communication was always very good. I must have sent him 20 messages with questions about how to get around and what he recommends, while we were there, all of which he answered. Such a nice patient man!!!

Our favorite stay in Italy!!!

The apartment is super comfy and the view of the dome is amazing!!! It has everything you could need, including a well stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms, a washing machine (which we used duing our stay), plenty of hot water and wifi. Emidio is absolutely lovely and very welcoming and accomodating: he provided a cot bed for the baby and helped arrange a taxi at the end of our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful host . He even took us to show us where to go to the nearby supermarket, the transport and a lovely restaurant nearby. We did eat one night at the restaurant and it was lovely, good food and reasonable prices. St. Peter’s square is only 2 minutes walking from the apartment: great location!

Excellent séjour

Un séjour d'une semaine dans cet appartement nous a permis d'apprécier pleinement sa propreté (c'était absolument impeccable!) et sa situation géographique. Très près des services tels que l'épicerie, le bancomat, la pharmacie et autres commerces, l'appartement est doté d'un ascenseur (plutôt rare en Italie), de la climatisation (essentielle) et d'une cuisine extrêmement bien équipée. Tous les équipements (lave-linge, séchoir, grill à paninis, cafetière) fonctionnent à merveille, de même que la connexion wifi. Et que dire de la vue de la fenêtre de la cuisine! Le Vatican à quelques dizaines de mètres... Le balcon fut aussi très apprécié, le soir, pour le siroter le dernier verre de vin. Émidio et sa mère nous ont très bien reçus et il nous a fait faire un tour du quartier ce qui fut, au cours de la semaine, fort utile et apprécié. Cette location est assurément à recommander. Merci encore pour votre hospitalité!

Alles stimmig

Als Familie haben wir diese Wohnung jetzt im Juli als unseren Standort in Rom ausgesucht. Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben, sie ist sehr sehr sauber, geräumig und bietet genügend Platz für vier Personen. Die beiden Schlafräume sind sogar sehr groß, auch wenn wir diese eigentlich wirklich nur wenig genutzt haben. Raum für Gepäck, immerhin waren wir fast zehn Tage in der Wohnung, gibt es ebenfalls reichlich. Es existieren zwei große Schränke und Ablagen. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Das ganze Apartment macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck, wir hatten auch das Vergnügen bei der Anreise sowohl den Besitzer (Emidio) als auch seine Mutter die ihn wahrscheinlich bei der Reinigung beziehungsweise Vermietung unterstützt kennen zu lernen. Emidio hat uns am Anreisetag erst einmal in Kürze die Umgebung erläutert, uns mitgeteilt und persönlich gezeigt, wo wir einkaufen und wo wir essen gehen könnten wenn wir dann wollten. Nicht ganz unwichtig natürlich auch die Besorgung von Tages oder Wochenkarten für den römischen Verkehrsverbund. Das Tüpfelchen in dieser Wohnung ist die Klimaanlage, die wir tatsächlich an mehreren Tagen auch mal abends benutzen mussten, weil es ein dermaßen feucht warmen Sommer war, das ist ein Segen war, dass es diese Anlage gab. Falls ihr mit der Familie noch einmal nach Rom kommen sollten, werden wir sicher diese Wohnung wieder nutzen, sie ist auch strategisch, im Sinne der Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr hervorragend. Besser geht es kaum...

Die Wohnung ist der Traum für Rom Urlauber. Alles vorhanden, sauber und geräumig. Gleich neben dem Vatikan, ist alles Wichtige zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Vermieter empfing uns freundlich und seine Einweisung in die umgebenden Läden, Haltestellen, Restaurants und Eistankstellen war echt top. Das erste mal in Rom, mit Familie und es stehtr fest: wir kommen wieder, möglichst zu Emidio!!! Grüße aus Deutschland

Schöne, gepflegte Wohnung mitten in Rom

Wir (fünf Gäste, drei Erwachsene, zwei Jugendliche)) haben uns in Emidios Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und absolut sauber. Alles entsprach der Beschreibung und den Fotos im Internet. Die Betten in den zwei Schlafzimmern waren sehr bequem. Der Standort, direkt neben dem Petersdom, war sehr zentral. Man konnte die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos zu Fuß erkunden. Aber auch mit dem Bus waren wir sehr schnell und unkomplziert an der Piazza Venezia. Emidio war ein sehr freundlicher und äußerst zuverlässiger Vermieter, der uns sehr gut betreute. Die Abwicklung funktionierte einwandfrei und Emidio organisierte uns zusätzlich einen Fahrtransfer zum Flughafen und zurück. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung zu 100 % weiter!
