Waterfront, Dog-Friendly Cottage on the Cove. In safe, quiet neighborhood.

The cutest cottage on the cutest cove with a brand new dock! Whether you’re into rosé & summer sun, hot chocolates in winter, a week off or a weekend away, Cove Cottage has water front views to help you relax, unwind and enjoy the best of Aquidneck Island.

One hour from Boston, and just 25 minutes to Newport, you have endless possibilities for what to do. We prefer taking advantage of the selection of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Take out the kayaks or paddle board around the cove, explore the Sakonnet River, take a quick trip to Tiverton Four Corners for local shops, or Little Compton and Westport for some breweries and vineyards.

Dog friendly home - and we highly recommend Portsmouth Dog Park, or taking advantage of the dog friendly beaches for long walks with your pup.
*Please note, dogs accepted only.

Just a friendly low key neighborhood with a lot to offer! And a ton of opportunity to relax and unwind.

Amenity Notes:

Please note, due to seasonality and proximity to the water, certain amenities are not always available, for example the kayaks and firepit. Please reach out in advance if you're looking to use a particular amenity and we'll try our best to accommodate requests.

Following amenities available between Memorial Day Weekend through to Labor Day:

- 2x Kayaks and Paddle Board
- Outdoor Shower
- Water based amenities including life jackets, beach towels etc.

Following amenities available between Memorial Day Weekend and end of October:
-Fire pit
-Dock

Guests have access to the entire property except for the outdoor shed, outdoor office and basement.

Washer and dryer are available to guests staying longer than 7 nights PLEASE NOTE: There is a $75 dog fee. If a dog fee is applied on booking, a $100 fee will be added post stay to cover additional cleaning fee.

It almost feels scary sharing this incredible stay. We plan to book multiple stays, every year Our hosts were there when we needed them, but gave us the freedom to enjoy the house without crazy restrictions. If you have babies of the furry kind, go ahead and book your stay. Thank us later

Good times

We had a fun time at the cottage on the cove. Kayaking, paddle boarding and BBQ and even some fireworks across the water for 4th of July! The yard was great for dogs and the view was superb!

Weekend Stay

The property is fantastic and better than the listing. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to coming back. Great location (close to Roger Williams) and a good selection of restaurants close by.

Cozy Cottage aptly named!

Lovely home, comfortable and well-appointed. Beautiful view and close to many trails, restaurants, etc. Enjoyed our stay even with the rain and wind, looking forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful Waterfront Property

It was perfect for our stay for a family event in the area. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard for play and it was so nice to have the space to invite family over to relax. I highly recommend watching the sunset from the porch!

A lovely stay!

The house and setting were beautiful. And even in autumn, when we couldn't get out on the water, the kids had so much fun in the yard and with the board games provided. We will definitely be back, and I can't recommend it enough!

Prime Location

Even in the winter this is a great spot. House is a perfect size with a great view. It was a pleasure to work with Luke. Lots of excellent places to eat, walk, wander.

Perfect cozy home on the water, convenient to Tiverton and Newport. Very quick trip from Boston area. Stylish California coastal decor, very clean and well maintained, gorgeous views, well stocked kitchen, fenced in yard perfect for our dog.

Beautiful stay

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect little cottage style house on the water. Beautiful views, great location for us, cute cafe nearby, stocked with fun board games, great back yard for our doggo, and a fire pit. Luke and Cori were excellent hosts! They were communicative and offered plenty of suggestions for the area! We had a wonderful stay and would stay again in the future!

Cottage Cove Best Ever

The cottage was welcoming with a great layout and the water view from the back yard is amazing. Very clean, quick responses from Luke, would not hesitate to return again. Highly recommend.

Lovely water-front vacation home. The house looks exactly like the photos. The high ceiling and big windows make the inside very bright and cozy. The host responded really quick. My dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. It was a nice and relaxing fall vacation.

Great Waterfront Location- Close to Newport

Great pet-friendly home. Fenced in yard was perfect for our two dogs. Communication with the host was excellent. Appreciated the kayaks offered for use, though it was a little chilly for us to use them this time around. Would recommend.

You must stay here!

This water front property is absolutely beautiful. We loved waking up next to the water everyday. You have a whole dock to yourself where you can walk out, take in the views and go kayaking. What’s even better is that it has a fenced in yard and allows my dog to enjoy these views with me! The house is very adorable, clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here again.
