This 2 bedroom midtown apartment provides both a great downtown location and quiet and comfortable space. with 1000sf of space, it's perfect for families visiting the city. One dedicated parking space in the garage, along with Wifi, Netflix, washer/dryer, Cookware & utensils are all provided. Please reach out with any questions. This apartment is also 1 block from the famous uptown theater; making it very convenient for concertgoers.

We require renters to be 21 years old or older.
- Breaking any house rules results is a $500 fine and immediate booking termination
- Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm
- Keys/ key fob must be returned (replacement costs are $100 per key fob and $70 to re-key the locks)

Overall Good

Overall, it was a good stay. Checkin instructions were clear and the apartment was as described. It was nice having a dedicated parking space off of the street. The kitchen was well stocked with a lot of spices, coffee etc. left for others to use by former guests. It's drafty but the provided heaters heat the space nicely once they've had time to do so. For improvements I would recommend some better furniture. The bed in the second bedroom is a pallet on the floor and probably the only factor that encouraged me to leave a 4 rather than a 5 star review, (When you pass a certain age, it's just not fun to pull yourself up from the floor anymore whether sitting or laying on a bed.) The kitchen table could also be better as the leg on one of the chairs was slightly poking through the seat and snagging clothing. Showers are very slippery but they have grip mats under the sink. One of us took a near tumble before learning this fact, so just make sure you have a mat in before attempting a shower. The blinds in the living room don't work well which isn't a dealbreaker but would be nice if they did work properly. Again, overall great place that I would stay in again IF the second bedroom was outfitted with a better bed.

Property was perfect for where we needed to go. Very clean and the owner communicated promptly. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Large and great location

This is an expansive 2 bed/2 bath condo that has been updated. There are Large viewing windows in living room to the dining and kitchen for seeing out and natural light. Nice dining room table and seating in the living room to accommodate a crowd. It has a stackable washer and dryer off the kitchen in the utility room it was clean and had adequate linens. Neighborhood has a coffee shop, yoga studio, hair saloon, and a few uniques businesses. I recommend this for one or many guests. The only thing that I saw that I would want is a larger inventory of kitchen items. So you may need to bring kitchen items if you like to cook and eat in. Also bring paper and plastic dishes and cutlery.

Little disappointing

Seemed like a student apt. One bed is basically on the floor just a frame under it. Washer was broken took 3 days to fix. Floors were dirty made feet / socks black. Blinds in living room did not work, couldn’t close them no privacy from the street and sun glared on TV. Location is great, inside parking was good. Not really set up for 6 worked well for 3 or 4 after the washer was fixed and we could wash towels. Very little kitchen utensils, lacking silverware or cooking utensils.

Our family was in town to watch our boys wrestling in the D1 NCAA Championships. It was a great location- close to T-Mobile center. The apartment was great for us to be together- roomy and comfortable!

It's interesting that Expedia keeps asking for reviews on a reservation that was cancelled without notice by the management group of this property. I would warn anyone reserving in advance at a decent rate that their reservations my be cancelled even though you booked through Expedia. Obviously the owners of the unit realized they could get more for the unit and cancelled our reservation. We travel a lot and will never again rent a property that is managed by Your KCHost or Francis Darko.

Christmas Getaway

The property was centrally located to the Christmas activities we enjoyed -- plays, lights, restaurants. The covered parking was a big plus for us. The apartment was very spacious and equipped with items we normally use. And it was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay at this property.

Good place but missing a lot of easy things

Met our college daughter for Thanksgiving in KC. The property was spacious and had plenty of space for our crew. Overall, a great experience but was disappointed with a few easy things. Kitchen was poorly stocked. 4 forks for a place that “sleeps up to 6”. Didn’t even have a full roll of paper towels. One dish cloth. No hot pads. Had 5 people staying but there were only beds for 4. Indicated a “twin bed in the common space” so I had assumed that the couch had a pull out but it did not. There was a blowup mattress but no linens or blankets. We liked our stay but had to hit up Walmart to buy stuff for our stay that should have been provided (silverware, paper towels, bedding). If you only need to sleep 4 and are planning to eat out for all your meals, it is great. Honestly, $30 is all you need to make this a great place for the 6 person capacity indicated in the listing. The dog in apt 201 next door woke us up barking at 3am every morning. That totally sucked. In general, everything was clean on the surface but the vinyl floors in the unit trap a lot of dirt that is hard to clean. It was apparent that the unit had been cleaned before we arrived but all my white socks are dark brown after walking around in the unit without shoes on.

Issues

There was no hand soap in the bathroom, the toilet paper was more than half gone. I was getting worried because I didn’t get the code until the day we left. There is only one key, which makes it hard when other people need to get in. Communication could have been quicker, when we had issues.

this place was pretty cool. Ate at the little Ethiopian place less than a block away. Place was clean and easy to stay in. On the first floor so no worries about making noise!

Wonderful check in, communication, and parking. For future stays the parking space is a bit tight for a truck other than that this space is great. Will definitely be back if available! Love the coffee spot across the street.

We stayed here one night for the Taylor Swift Concert. It was so easy. The owner helped us with every question we had. (We had a lot of questions). Highly recommend staying at this apartment!!

Good location and comfortable

The location is fantastic as it allows you easy access to a wide variety of things to do and visit in Kansas City. Additionally, the indoor parking in a garage is a nice feature.

Expected better service

Property was close to where we had planned to hang out. Unfortunately it was not clean. My kids started running around in the apartment and within 5 mins there feet were nasty dirty from the bottom (unclean floors). All of us started sneezing like crazy the moment we entered and come to find out, the HVAC filter was clogged up (per my guess, it had not been changed in at least 6 months). Texted the host but they didn’t have any extra filters to replace with a new one. Spending the night was tough to be honest. We had two nights booked but checked out the next day after our Legoland visit. Location wise the apartment is close to a few places but some of the surrounding areas are full of drug addicts. How do I know? Went to the nearest Walgreens to figure out something for our sneezing and they were everywhere. One even tried to get close to ask for money. Not safe for walking around with kids. I would not stay here again for multiple reasons mentioned above.

The place was nice, clean and very efficient. It was peaceful and comfortable and worked well for what we needed. At first we were having problems with the lockbox and the owner communicated very rapidly with us and solve the problem. I will stay there again

Week stay

The place was wonderful. Only downfall is in on of the bedrooms you can hear the garage door opening and closing. Other then that the place was great. I would still stay again. Everything is close within 20 minutes
