As you enter the resort on Gulf Highlands Boulevard from 10977 Hutchison Boulevard often referred to as Middle Beach by the locals, the well-kept, beautifully landscaped property will impress you. As you drive through the main gate you're likely to notice there is something fun to do in every direction. The resort amenities are truly impressive, including: 11 swimming pools, 4 of those are seasonally heated, multiple tennis courts, several shuffle board courts, pickle board, 2 children's play grounds, 18 hole mini golf, gym, Robin gate providing walking access to the Shoppes Around Edgewater, a canal, a beach gate, private beach clubhouse with a gulf front pool and cafe. All of this and more is within a private gated community with friendly security staff and coded access gate.
Sea This Way has reserved parking spaces just a few feet from the front door. No need to wait for or board crowded elevators, lighted entry is conveniently on the ground floor and privacy is assured.
Decorated in soothing shades of sky blue, pelican gray and white, Sea This Way invokes comfort and relaxation. The ambiance is coastal and serene. Tile floors downstairs, carpet upstairs, half bath downstairs, full bath with walk in shower upstairs, patio downstairs and balcony upstairs, Two king size bedrooms upstairs and a queen sleeper sofa downstairs. Gulf Highlands is prefect for active people and Sea This Way is ideal for couples or families that desire to be within reach of everything yet out of the intensity of the crowd. Come here to play and relax.
Downstairs has living room with two sofas, dining table and hutch, half bath, spacious stainless steel well stocked kitchen, laundry room and a private patio. It is attractive, comfortable, spacious and open.
Upstairs has two bedrooms furnished with king size beds, chest of drawers or dresser, ceiling fans, overhead and bedside lighting. The master has a balcony with a beautiful private view. The guest room has a window too. The walk in shower in the upstairs bathroom is one of several new additions to Sea This Way. The bedrooms are spacious, decorated in soothing cool colors of the Gulf and the sugar white sands of the beach.
Convenience factors include: wifi, a beach wagon, two televisions, washer and dryer, BBQ grill, keyless entry and reserved parking. The Direct TV service includes complimentary HBO. All the Gulf Highlands amenities are available, free of charge for Sea This Way guests to enjoy. Shuffle board equipment, clubs and balls for mini golf and a beach wagon are available in the townhouse. Pools are open from 9:00 a.m. until 11;00 p.m. including the four, seasonally heated. The gym is available daily until 11;00 p.m. also.

Great first trip to PCB.

After arriving at Panama City Beach we discovered a water leak at the property. After communicating with the owner they were able to accommodate us and move us to a Nother location and we were able to enjoy our vacation with no problems. Everything went well, the owner was quick in responding and solving the problem.I would definitely rent again at this location.

Would Not Recommend - Dirty & Broken!

We own and manage rental properties and also travel frequently, so this review comes from a place of experience. As with any stay there were pros & cons, so both are listed in full detail below. Overall, the unit was unclean and unkept. The owner was unfriendly and not receptive to our concerns. We would have rated this property with only one star had it not been for the excellent location and community. This stay was not worth what we paid and we would not stay again or recommend to others. Pros: - Property amenities are amazing. - 11 pools onsite - all are well maintained and clean. - Close to private beach access. - In-unit washer and dryer. - Pet friendly. - Nice community. Cons: - Unit was very dirty and in disrepair. You name it.. it's broken or breaking. - Carpets have not been vacuumed in a long time. Hair and dirt are everywhere throughout the 2nd floor. - Bathroom rugs were filthy and had a dead roach, hair, and dirt embedded in them. - Shower does not drain. Drain stop is missing and you can clearly see the mass of hair and gunk that's causing the clog and standing water. - Master bedroom sheets were stained and had food crusted on them. - Upstairs bathroom mirror had spit marks from previous guests. - Upstairs sink was not clean. A ring from previous guest's mouthwash was still present as well. - Main entrance door had bloody fingerprints on it. - Stove had food crusted on it. -Multiple lightbulbs needing replacement. - Overall condition of the unit was poor and general repairs are needed throughout. - Check-in process was inefficient - we had to drive 15 minutes past the unit to pick up a packet of paper with the entrance code and parking pass. The office was hard to find in the dark. Shortly after we arrived, we reached out to the property owner to share our concerns. The owner implied we were lying and said that the unit was not like this prior to our arrival. However, this is how it was when we arrived! We sent photos to the owner through VRBO. He wanted someone he knew to come check our "bizarre description" and was generally rude and combative as we expressed our concerns. He offered housekeeping to come early the next morning. As we were already settled with our dogs and tired from traveling, we declined. The unit should have been cleaned prior to our arrival; instead, we ended up having to clean the unit ourselves. Owner refused to work with us to come up with another solution to make this right. We do not recommend.
