At 3,335 square feet nearly twice as large as most units, you are sure to enjoy your stay with us. Exquisitely appointed with upgraded furnishings, large smart TV and free wifi. Also included are 2 complimentary long boards with leashes and wax and 2 boogie boards. Seriously, it doesn’t get much better than this!
Distinguished by its enviable location (directly in front of a fantastic surf break and world-class ocean view), you will definitely be mesmerized by your view of the entire Banderas Bay, the Sierra Madre Mountains, the Marieta Islands, Vallarta city lights not to mention the surfers and the breaching Humpback whales during whale season.
Life is easy at Punta Mita Penthouse de Amor with direct elevator access as well as taking the elevator down to the pool and beach level. A private key coded gate gives you entrance to the white sand beach and surf immediately in front. Surfing, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming, sunbathing, pool lounging or meandering on the beach will make you quickly forget where you came from as you sink into life Punta Mita style. Interestingly, we have earned the favor of many past guests from the higher end, super expensive hotels inside the Punta Mita gates. Many prefer our type of luxury and a more authentic Mexican experience and ease of enjoying the beach steps away, local restaurants and of course our price!!
Your penthouse is an easy five minute walk to many great oceanfront restaurants some even with your feet in the sand and all overlooking the Pacific while you see and hear the waves gently rolling in. Day or night, walking everywhere is what makes it so wonderful here as there’s no need to rent a car. Enjoy these many nearby oceanfront open-air restaurants like La Pescadora (the best margaritas!), Punta Mercedes, Lobster Paradise, Si Sushi, Tuna Blanca, The Blue Shrimp, NAEF’s, Casa Del Pintor and more. All of these restaurants are elegant and are very reasonably priced compared to the US. Cooking of course is always an option in our fully equipped kitchen.

The perfect spot!

My friends and I came down for a girls surf trip and this condo was perfectly placed for easy access to a surf break and restaurants and shops in town. The views were incredible and the lodgings very comfortable and spacious.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at this location. It is an incredible property: All rooms were as nice as advertised; tons of space; incredible views; terrific pool; very short walk to basic groceries and bars/restaurants. Owner/management were great to work with. Highly recommend!

Great beach location

Our family enjoyed the ocean views and access to the beach and pool. We liked the location, we visited a few local resteraunts and watching the surfer's from the patio was great. The beds were and AC were good. There was a small musty smell.

Spacious and Bright Condo

Went to Punta Mita with family to attend a wedding. Stayed three nights very comfortably. The communication with Daniel was immediate and he was very helpful. The pool area is very nice. The beach is a few steps away. The location was perfect for us right in town. I recommend.

Punta Mita vacay 2025

The location is absolutely wonderful! Sunsets and sunrises spectacular. When we arrived three AC units were not working properly, one was leaking. The manager came in the next day to fix it but that ate up half our vacation day. There wasn’t any salt or pepper or garbage bags. These to me are basics that should be supplied. Also dishwasher soap not supplied. They also scheduled a real estate client tour while we were there. Very inappropriate.

Perfect Location, Beautiful Property

Spacious, clean and location, location, location! We had a great time at this gem of a property in Punta de Mita. Great place for friends, couples or families with older kids. With several living areas to relax in, 2 balconies with beautiful views (almost 360 degrees from the top deck) and spacious bedrooms you can be as close to your friends/family as would like or retreat for some quiet time. Only 2 blocks from the main street of delicious restaurants and cute shops it’s a hard decision to stay home or venture out. Pool was relaxing and a small fridge in the bar area made refilling our drinks a breeze. We loved the easy beach access, soft sand and blue water. Daniel was an awesome host, easy to reach when we had questions and very responsive. Highly recommend this property and we hope that we can make it an annual trip.

Great place, too bad the owners doesn’t care about it

So we booked this place and we were excited to go, on arrival the prop manager met us and gave us a tour and we were impressed, too bad this did not last.Once we unpacked, we went to go sit on the amazing lower patio, but 3 of the 6 chairs were ripped and unusable so we took pictures and sent themThe next issue was the A/C did not work in the upper smaller bedroom, which we reported but no one came out to fix ( we were there 15 days)The downstairs master also had a/c issues, and while it did work it continually poured water out of the unit, again reported but never even had a guy out to look at it. Required the room to be mopped up 5 times a day and the 4 beach towels they had for the 8 guests were constantly used to soak up the waterDay 2 we went to go use the over to cook as there is no BBQ on either outdoor deck, and we could not get it to work, they sent out a handyman who tried to light the gas over with a Bic lighter and told us that we would need to do that never mind that once the oven hit temp it would shut off and we needed to relight. He stated that the Iver needed to be replaced but indicated in Spanish (which I could understand) that the owner won’t spend any money as it was for sale and he was too cheap.We went into La Cruz, one day because the building shut off the water, they were aware but did not inform us, so we found out from the neighbours. While we were gone, we were given 1 hour notice that the real estate agent was showing it.out os space

El Farito was great

Pros: The condo is clean and huge, beds were comfortable, proximity to the beach literally couldn’t be any better. AC kept us cool and happy. Pool was clean and warm. Communication with the property manager was easy. She set up round trip transportation to and from the airport and we loved the driver, Andreas. She fixed the issues that she could fix quickly. The ocean was 83 degrees and we spent hours in the water every day. We snorkeled the Marietas and rented ocean kayaks from a dude right on the beach in front of the condo. Cons: Not enough dishes. This condo sleeps 8 and has four plates. The listing says it has longboards and boogie boards. There was one longboard and no boogie boards. There are great pool chairs that you can use poolside but you cannot take them the 15 steps out onto the sand at the beach and the condo doesn’t provide any beach chairs at all. Granted, the listing doesn’t say that it provides beach chairs but honestly, this is a pricey beachside condo that we paid $3000/week to rent. They can buy some Tommy Bahama chairs at Walmart and leave them in the condo. The neighborhood is sketchy and there is a sewage treatment center nearby that sends over smells liberally with the wind. However, it is Punta Mita, a sleepy Mexican town so the “sketchy” was expected. All said, I would stay here again. The size of the condo provided privacy for all of us when needed. The two decks were delightful to stare out at the ocean and listen to the waves.

Loved It

This is a great place to stay with easy access to the beach and town. I could sit on the deck all day having cocktails watching the boats in the harbor and surfers in the water. It's a beautiful view of the islands, the mountains, and the water. This was perfect for me, my wife and our two teenagers.

Breathtaking view

I miss waking up to this view every morning! Host was helpful and accommodating and the condo was impressive and perfectly located. Comfortable beds and linens. Charming wonderful town. Would love to go back.
