Desde 2009, Oyster Bay Manor ha acogido a miles de huéspedes de todo el mundo.

Un camino privado arbolado conduce a la casa que se encuentra en una hermosa propiedad privada frente al mar de 2/3 acres frente al parque. Con fácil acceso al centro de Seattle, también estamos cerca de campos de golf de clase mundial, una colección ecléctica de comunidades y un sinfín de descubrimientos recreativos, culturales y paisajísticos.

Retroceda en el tiempo con esta elegante mansión de ladrillo de 1937 con características originales de molduras de caoba, ventanas y puertas de vidrio con plomo y pisos de madera en todas partes. La gran sala de entretenimiento se calienta con yeso de mármol exquisito y techos de cofre pintados a mano. Grandes ventanales enmarcan las hermosas vistas de jardines maduros y la costa de la hermosa bahía de Oyster.

¡Nuestra ubicación es excelente! ... estamos a solo 17 millas al oeste del centro de Seattle. Uno puede tomar el ferry local de cercanías, (conducir o caminar), que normalmente funciona a la hora de 4:30 a.m. a medianoche y lo lleva al corazón del centro de Seattle en aproximadamente 50 minutos.

El ferry es solo una opción, también se puede conducir directamente a Seattle y al aeropuerto internacional SeaTac por la autopista I-5 en menos de una hora.

The home is beautiful but not so navigable for the elderly. Stairs are steep. Ive been in much more inexpensive VRBO’s and the pillows and bedding are in much better shape and higher quality. This home has excellent views and the greenery and water views outside are magnificent. I could not get down to the water due to the steep walk down and it was slippery when it rained. The Host was very gracious.

I also truly appreciate your kind words about me as your host. For the benefit of future guests, I’d like to clarify a couple of things about the property. The stairs are clearly shown in the listing photos, and the pathway leading down to the water is a natural, sloped pathway. Guests ranging in age from 3 to 85 have enjoyed using the pathway over the years. That said, I recognize that the stairs and sloped outdoor pathway may be challenging for some guests with mobility limitations, particularly when the ground is wet. I want to make sure future guests have that information when deciding whether the property is a good fit for them. I’m sorry the bedding and pillows did not meet your personal preferences. I take pride in providing clean, comfortable, quality cotton sheets and duvets for my guests. In my 17 years of hosting, this is the first time I’ve received feedback regarding the quality of the linens or pillows. I nevertheless appreciate you sharing your perspective and will continue to make sure everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Thank you again for staying at my property and for your positive comments about the home and its beautiful natural setting. Beautiful property off the water! The home is beautiful too! Interior decor is amazing. The home was a cozy stay, our whole family loved the stay. Close to many different food spots. Grocery store is close to the property which was a great convenience. The host, Rod, did a great job with communicating throughout our stay. We left to visit Seattle on the ferry and could not wait to get back to the house and enjoy it while relaxing on the yard looking out into the bay. Sunrise and sundown were great moments to enjoy there as well. Premier style property. Excited to get a chance to book again.

Yes, the house is cozy little small and clustered than we expected. Pictures were very nice and the scenes from the kitchen and the living room is amazing. Overall very good experience. Host was very nice and accommodating. Definitely pet friendly and we definitely enjoyed our trip.

Beautiful location on the water

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the peaceful views of Oyster Bay. Rod was fantastic and accommodating of our late arrival due to flight delays. Our family was very comfortable all weekend and the location was great for quick access to just about everything. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Oyster Bay Gem

We were very impressed with the responsiveness and thoughtfulness of the manager and quality of the home. The home is charming with beautiful furnishings and art (nice eye candy). The kitchen is nicely stocked with spices and all the dishes/cookware you need. The views are amazing, location excellent to restaurants and shopping. We definitely recommend this property!

The bay view will never get old. Absolutely beautiful. We went kayaking in the bay with a wonderful surprise of jellyfish everywhere. It is very safe rowing. We had 5 sisters with 4 bedrooms which was great, one room had twin beds. We were there for a week. It was a short drive to the ferry to Seattle, also just an hour or so drive to Seattle Airport . A40 minute drive to Bainbridge Island. I would recommend.

The view from the large picture window of Oyster Bay is spectacular. Exploring the unique architectural features of the whole house was lots of fun. Our only concern was getting to/ from the drive way & the busy street.

I'm glad you, and your group had a wonderful stay! The house was built in 1937, and does have in addition to the spectacular bay view, some pretty unique architectural features as you mentioned. Some of features include stained glass light fixtures, original 1937, 2 tone lacquered wall paint on the marbled plaster for the great room, and coffered ceilings. The long densely treed driveway is a little difficult to spot from the street, there is however a center turn lane though where one can stop to turn into the driveway.

Amazing view, timeless architecture.

This home was spectacular. The host met us upon arrival to explain the various features of this 1937 vintage home. Remarkable decor with lots to see. The backyard overlooks an inlet and is framed by towering pines and cedars. Great place to relax... but close to grocery shopping, Bremerton (don't miss the foot ferry to Port Orchard) and we made the easy trip to Tacoma for the Glass Museum. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had a wonderful time! The home was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We had a full house so meal times were a bit tricky as the eating area is best suited for four people but there was a table on the deck so we could dine outdoors as well. The view was beautiful. We had small children in our party so the stairs and decor presented a bit of a challenge. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful home in Bremerton!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I took our 4 grandchildren to Seattle for our annual family vacation. The kids loved kayaking on the bay. The view of the bay was absolutely beautiful. Tammy was so kind to welcome us and give us a tour of the house. The house was very clean and quiet. The location was very convenient to grocery stores and the ferry terminal was just a few miles down the road. Ferry was easy to take to Seattle. Tony's Pizza was a great recommendation from Tammy and Rod. We would highly recommend this home! Thank you Rod and Tammy!

Very nice place. Party of six adults were very satisfied.

Stylish older home. Plenty of room. Everything worked and was in order. A flight of stairs to basement for laundry, game room, and toilet/shower. A flight upstairs to bedrooms and bath. All good just be careful. Very nice deck and lawn area. Nice view of bay. Ten minutes to ferry. Some noise from nearby traffic street, but house is private.

Our group had a very nice visit at the property on Oyster Bay. Rod was very quick to respond with any questions we had and the home was maintained impeccably. It was located right in town on the bay, but felt as if it was miles away being located down a winding drive and among the trees. It was like being in a botanical garden. We didn't spend lots of time at the home, but when we were there, everything was available that was needed. The kitchen was well provisioned and the bedding was very comfortable.Best of all was the view from the home and the terraced yard. There was a nice deck, yard with comfortable chairs and water relaxing water feature and a trail leading down to the beach. The house itself had lots of history and very unique features. Its location was perfect too if you are exploring the area. Centrally located providing easy access to the Olympic NP and destinations in Seattle and surrounding the surrounding area. Very easy access to the Bremerton - Seattle Ferry. Thanks for an incredible stay. Look forward to visiting the area again and we'll most definitely return here for our lodging.

what an amazing place to stay!

We contacted the host and asked if we might be able to get into the place a couple of hours early, and he said he would let us know. The day of arrival I got a text saying we could check in shortly. We arrived at his place and were warmly greeted and given a wonderful tour of the house and its history! We toured the grounds and were told if we had any questions to call him. The house even had a nice bowl of fresh fruit on the table! It is a wonderful location with a very private back yard and a nice waterfront beach to explore. It is quite the hidden gem in the area. Near the house are several great restaurants, grocery stores and its near the ferry. We will absolutely be coming back! Lovely place and wonderful host! Thank you for a great family trip! Scott

Incredible place to stay!!

This is real find in great accommodations. The house is tucked away right off of Kitsap Way with a secluded driveway entrance cut into thick woods... very cool just to drive in... but wait, it gets better. The 3 level rustic brick house is stunning nestled in the trees... very private, yet 2 to 3 blocks from restaurants and grocery store. Inside is really beautiful... hardwood floors, large area carpets, gourmet kitchen, fireplace in living room, game room downstairs... the large deck off the kitchen looks out on Oyster Bay, with kayaks provided. The bedrooms and bathrooms... the whole house looks like something from a Hallmark Channel movie!!! Beautiful architecture all over the place!! Week at Oyster Bay

Just as picturesque as the photos in the listing. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the gorgeous views. Grill was clean and in perfect working order. Kayaks to paddle around in the calm bay and fireworks reflecting off of the water on the 4th of July were unforgettable! Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds/bedding. Plenty of towels and other necessities were provided. The washer and dryer came in very handy as did the provided laundry soap. We wanted for nothing. Rod was communicative and super accommodating. He gave us tips on enjoying the house, finding groceries, and pointing out local restaurants and things to do in the area. The Pearl on Oyster Bay was a perfect location for our family to explore Puget Sound. We also took a day trip to Seattle as well as visited Olympic National Park and Mt. Rainier. Loved our stay!

Amazing property with immense opportunities!!!

Must stay here!!! Such an amazing property win so many opportunities for fun included! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the paddle boats everyday and saw a mom and baby seal. We also caught our own crabs to eat one night which was incredible! There were lots of jellyfish in the water several days but that didn't detour others to water ski or play in the water. We loved collecting sea shells, watching the tide come and go, watching the hermit crabs, and enjoying the amazing view! Truly one of a kind! The view from the porch for our meals was breathtaking! We would grill up some fish (thanks to the very close grocery store) and enjoy each night! The ferry ride to Seattle was close as well and a must do! We also visited the town nearby called Pousblo (per recommendation of the home's owner) and found it super charming! Overall a 5 star experience!

Quaint, needs some renovation, but great views and on the bay

This 1937 home has beautiful hardwood floors and a great location on the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed, but was very tight for four adults; and the little kitchen table was almost too small for us. Luckily, we only used it for breakfasts. There are three bedrooms (2 Queens and 2 twins) and one full bathroom in the upstairs hallway for everyone to share. I should have paid closer attention to the bathroom arrangements, as the second shower is in the basement. I would have preferred to have an en suite master bedroom/bathroom arrangement. There is also another toilet on the main level. My husband and adult son are both over 6 feet and could not walk upright through the upstairs hallway to and from the bathroom, because of the slanted design in the low ceilings. We visited during a cold snap (with snow!) so the heating system was constantly working. The radiators were loud and hissed, which occasionally woke us up at night. The house cleaner also asked us to drain the dirty/rusty water from the basement radiator system every other day and refill it, which I thought was odd. Something happened to the plumbing while we were there too, and water gushed from a basement wall and under the baseboards while someone was taking a shower. It was probably a burst pipe, due to the cold weather. The owner was out of town while we there, but luckily his house cleaner was able to contact him and let us make alternate hotel arrangements for the remainder of our stay. I imagine this home would be much nicer during the summer months. There was a kayak in the basement for guests, and a great deck overlooking the bay. It was just too cold outside for us to take advantage of them while we were there.

I'm sorry again about the issue with the plumbing. You did receive an explanation as to cause of the problem which was a backup from outside of the house due to the cold weather, that caused just a small amount of water to come into the basement bathroom only, and not a burst pipe as you now speculate. Just to let you know, that issue was remedied the same day. The plumbing problem was on your last day of your 5 night stay, and as a result you were refunded for your last night, plus an additional refund for the inconvenience. Just to clarify the height of the upstairs ceilings, other then a curved pillar near the entrance of the bathroom upstairs, (as shown in one of the HomeAway/VRBO pictures) the ceilings are 8ft throughout the upper floor and are not 'low' as you mention. Also, speaking of bathrooms, I'm pleased to announce we have a brand new full bath (with a beautiful claw foot tub)being added in April 2017 The house was built in 1937, It's an Incredible property that's well suited to accommodate up to 8 guests and has an overall 'Guest Satisfaction Rating' of 97 % as indicated by the previous 37, 5 Star reviews we've received over the past 9 years. A few of the previous guests have even mentioned in their review that the house is their all time favorite VRBO/HomeAway rental. .

We're a unique waterfront property with our own (about 70 ft.) private beach that's use is exclusive for our guests. We have a couple of sit on top single Kayaks on hand that are free for our guests to use during their stay. In addition, we have life jackets and paddles.The beach access is from the property, and the bay is quite calm, so it's possible to Kayak year round.

Drive directly, or take the local commuter ferry to DT Seattle.

The commuter ferry is considered a 'not to be missed' Seattle experience.
