River Retreats/Anglers Paradise

Country setting, that is away from all the city noises. FREE use of the Kayaks and golf cart, or take the kayaks to Rainbow River, my place is on the “Withlacoochee River” so you would need to use the golf cart with the kayak trailer to drop in at the neighborhood ramp, about a 5 min or 10 min walk from the home, and paddle North to get to the Rainbow River. If you choose to transport the kayaks, The KP Hole and Rainbow Springs State Park are 10 min away. You can bring your own boat, “there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood”, and local ramps in town. Relax by the fire in the evening. Peaceful, quiet and only 10 minutes from town for shopping and dining. FREE use of the golf cart, kid and pet friendly.

"Bring Your Boat"!
We now offer KP Hole Passes, $5 per person per day, FCFS. Flat rate for longer stays. This will let you swim, bring your kayak or our kayaks and paddle boards down there to use or launch your boat free of charge, no personal tubes allowed. If you plan to have food or drinks on the river, they must be a non-disposable container or Tupperware. We recommend going early once they are capacity there’s no entry. These are for registered guests only and loss of a pass will be $75 per pass that is lost.

Sleeps 4 comfortably, but room for 6.

Pets need pre approval for insurance, extra pets are prorated, crates provided. No unregistered guests allowed due to insurance reasons, no smoking, no events and no parties, TIA!

You should have stayed in town Vs rating me a 3, it clearly says I’m 15 min outside of town,. LOL, best of luck. Your suppose to be on vacation, peace and quiet away from the busyness. I work hard to make my guests happy, and simply put, too far from town isn’t worth the low rating., New York City might be better for you. 🥂

Good Stay

We had a great time floating down Rainbow Springs which is about 10 min drive from property. We were surprised to see that the house was an actual mobile home. I feel like the property description should highlight that.

What a lame review, lol, pictures are clear. You get free use of kayaks, golf cart and a kayak trailer. Saved you tons, and no time constraints. Also let you transport off the property for use, very ungrateful type guest. I am a contractor, so I gutted the place and rebuilt it and made it solid, so you can call it a modular. But all good, you may want to skip “any” of my listings, they are all similar and priced right. That’s why you chose it, price point, you CHEAPO, lmao. There are no places with river access for $99 a night. Or that allow you to get free use of the equipment and be able to use offsite. I’d be OK with a four but not a three. We go above and beyond for our guests and obviously you’re not our type of guest. Good luck to you, “owners beware” for ungrateful people like them. Not welcome back.

Cozy little place

This is a cute and cozy mobile home that is in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the ceiling height. Watch out for the ceiling fans 😀. Communication with Chaz was always prompt and polite. We'd stay again if in the area.

Comfortable, relaxing, & very clean!

We were very happy with our stay! Property was exactly as described; so peaceful and beautiful out back! We stayed 3 nights and found everything we wanted to do was extremely close by, very convenient. We didn’t utilize all the amenities offered, but the host, Chaz, thought of everything. Board games, DVDs, fishing poles, bikes, and of course the kayaks and golf cart. You won’t get bored on a rainy day! Chaz was easy to communicate with and answered us quickly anytime we asked questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Thank you Chaz!

Good place

When we pulled up we’re we instantly excited. Nice little features around this house made it fun to stay at. With games to play, a beautiful backyard with fire pit and the amazing river close by we had no shortage of entertainment. The only con was a few dead bugs on the floor inside but hey this is Florida… can’t wait to stay here on our next trip. -TJ and the boys

We strive to maintain a clean place and constantly treat the property for potential pests. Being so hot outside the past probably want to get inside or the cool areas, lol. We strive to be 110% as far as cleanliness. But I can assure you that this place is pest free I wish I could control it 150% a time but I can’t. Glad you enjoyed your stay though.

Amazing EVERYTHING, Fantastic Getaway

This has been the most fabulous vacation for our family of 3, including our13 yr old daughter, plus our pups. The cabin is exactly as pictured, the cleanest rental we have ever seen, spotless, and the most amazing host and property manager you could ask for! This place has absolutely everything you could need and then some! From the golf cart and the kayaks to the little details like tons of board games, an outside carnival style basketball game and a large comfortable couch and smart TV! Everything you need is already there and in pristine working order, even down to measuring cups, a can opener and a huge crock pot. The back yard view is stunning and there is a ton of various birds and other wildlife! The front screen porch is shady and cool to sit and enjoy an outside meal. So many things to do and see very close by. We rented a boat and spent the entire time swimming on the beautiful crystal clear Rainbow river. This cabin is literally 5 mins from town, less than 10 mins from the Rainbow river and there is even a boat ramp right in the neighborhood for access to multiple other local waterways! Just hook up the provided kayaks to the golf cart on site and put in at the neighborhood ramp, or tow with your vehicle to other local boat ramps! Definitely would recommend this location and host. Very impressed and I am admittedly hard to please 🤣 PS. The beds and linens provided are extremely comfortable too!

Great Property

This was a great property to stay. Very clean and well maintained. The property manager was very friendly and quick to communicate back when I had an issue with the lock at check in. The place was very cool when we arrived and there’s a yard area in the back that was really nice. Small and safe community also.

We arrived to find this property easy to locate and very clean. We did not use the amenities as we had a specific purpose to be in the area. There was a boat ramp close by though and we would have loved to have had time to use the boat or kayaks! We would definitely use this again!

Weekend get away

The stay was very comfortable and met all expectations for our stay. We do have a boat and hoped to use the neighborhood launch. The launch is not for boats but for canoes, paddle boards, etc. which were available at the cabin. The public ramp is only about a 15 minute drive, but extremely busy. Get started early, but very worth it. Overall the stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Peaceful vacation getaway

Many reasons to stay here for us as it was very close to family we were visiting. It is far enough from the main road to enjoy a quiet nights sleep. People that live around there are very friendly. Local activities are a short drive away. The host is responsive to inquiries and will get back to you in a timely matter. The home is very clean with everything there you need for a comfortable stay, the pictures are an exact representation of where you will be staying. Included are great extras like kayaks, golf cart and laundry. My family and I would definitely stay here again provided the chance.
