Check-in was easy. Communication with the host was fantastic. The home layout was very nice; for a family of six it was very comfortable. The drive to Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village was short and easy. There was a lot of linens available in the closet, which was great. Home cleanliness was disappointing. We arrived on Friday and by Saturday evening we had seen five roaches in the kitchen area, including one in the toaster. I messaged the host on Saturday, who responded right away and had Care Free Pest Solutions there on Tuesday. In the mean time, we slept with the lights on to hopefully keep the critters hiding and we didn't see another one the rest of the trip. There were dust bunnies on the ceiling at each air vent, dirt on the thermostat, insect droppings/spots in the kitchen utensils drawer, etc. With the roaches and dirt, things just felt dirty. Only one of two lights on either side of the beds in two rooms were plugged in and the outlet was inaccessible centered behind the bed headboard. There was an electrical box recessed in the ceiling that had no cover, so the capped off wires were exposed. Was this a terrible stay, absolutely not; we still very much enjoyed the visit to Siesta Key. If the roaches and cleanliness were addressed for future stays, I'd gladly stay here again.
