Wonderful Boulder getaway

We enjoyed our stay in north Boulder very much. The house and location was perfect for our family of six.The trails right outside the front door were perfect for morning or early evening walks. The house was clean and everything was in great condition. We never worried about anything going wrong as Martin & Inge Nuss were perfect hosts and checked in or answered any questions we had.Thank you for a great stay.

Didn’t want to leave!

The home was perfect for us. Plenty of room and extremely clean. The view and location were great. Being right across the street from a path was really convenient, as well as being close to downtown. It really was the perfect home for our stay and we would definitely come back if we get the chance.

Great location to head to RMNP. Nice neighborhood with easy access to Pearl Street. We enjoyed the outdoor seating for meals. 6 adult family members had ample space.

Great Location - Great House - Great Amenities

This home is situated at the base of the North Foothills of Boulder. The backyard patio is the perfect place for enjoying your morning coffee as the rising sun turns the mountains to gold. The house is very nicely furnished, plenty of room. The homeowner is very helpful and communicative. Steps away from hiking and a short ride to groceries and restaurants. 5 stars

Perfect Home Base for College Visits and Exploring the Rockies

We had a terrific stay in this beautiful home in the foothills with easy access to everything. The hosts were just wonderful and shared the best tips for what to do, where to eat, and what to see while we were visiting, and everyone one of their recommendations was a 10/10. They aren’t exaggerating that the running and biking trails are at their doorstep, and we started each day of our visit out there on those trails with the bunnies getting in some runs and enjoying the gorgeous landscape before college campus tours and excursions to Brainard and Rocky Mountain National Park. At just minutes from the CU campus and less than an hour to Rocky Mountain National Park, it is the perfect location and the home and property are maintained beautifully. We would definitely return, and hope to next year for a longer stay!

Great for families!

This is an amazing home in a great location! Clean, spacious and very well-appointed. Always appreciate a cook’s kitchen with quality tools and appliances. The back yard/patio is perfect for hanging out. Also loved being able to walk out the door and on to the trails. Martin is a very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

CU graduation

This was our second time staying at Dakota Ridge. We love everything about the property. Clean, comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to cook 'at home', great location. Very close to campus but also far enough out to avoid congestion. Love the hiking trails across the street from the house. Great patio area out back, you can watch people paragliding from the ridge behind the home. Our son will be in Boulder for another two years so I'm already planning for a third stay at Martin's property!

Great location and a beautiful property

A few of our friends rented this property for a weekend get-together and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located near hiking trails, in a calm neighborhood, and a short drive from downtown Boulder. The property was well-maintained, and loaded with amenities, for our stay. The owner was super nice to communicate with and the welcome package was a nice touch. I will highly recommend the property for folks looking to stay in the Boulder area.

Comfortable and Great location

Came to town for an extended stay to visit our college kids between their summer and fall semesters at CU. Great proximity from their apartment and to trails (just across the street) for walking and running. Also, to grocery market, Farmer’s market, Pearl Street and restaurants. Enjoyed wonderful drive and hikes around Lake Isabelle in Brainard Lake area and Rocky Mountain Park.

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood

Our family stayed here for a wedding, and we could not have selected a better place. The home has everything you need for a relaxing time during your stay. Beautiful property in a great location for outdoor enthusiasts.

This lovely home worked very well for our multigenerational group. The home was beautifully furnished and well equipped with more than we needed. Our grandkids loved the nearby park, and enjoyed watching the paragliders sail thru the air! We didn’t do much meal prep in the home, but the appliances and outdoor patio and grill looked great! Our active group enjoyed the close proximity to mountain biking, hiking and even a float on the frigid Boulder Creek! We would certainly stay at this property again!

My wife Inge and I have owned this home since 2006. We love Boulder but also love hiking and skiing in the mountains, which is why we have a place up there, too. We also like to travel, so when we are not in Boulder, we make our home available to families who want to spend a few days in the Boulder area, visit friends or college kids, or come to CU Buffs football games.

You will feel right at home here. This is not a vacation rental property with the bare essentials. We live here too for the majority of the year, so the house comes fully equipped with everything we also need and like around us.
