Location couldn’t be better! 4th floor facing the Gulf of America and the beach. The Umbrella and chair Attendants were great. Took good care of us. The pool is fantastic and a great complement to the beach. Crabby Steve’s is conveniently located but could use a little “refurbishing “. Drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Did not eat there. Make sure you make a stop at the Donut Hole! Only about a 10 minute drive or can be about a 30 minute (?) walk one way. A must visit!! Overall, High Pointe is a great place to stay and we will probably be back again next year !!

5 Condo!

Beautiful Condo with amazing views and such thoughtful amenities. We loved our stay here!

We had a lovely stay! The direct Oceanview was spectacular and the condo was exactly as advertised! The elevator and impressive ramp to the beach is a benefit to anyone with mobility issues. Location is prime with restaurants directly across the street and an easy stroll to more options at Rosemary Beach. The tennis players in our group were impressed with the courts which appeared to be brand new or recently resurfaced (1-tennis and 4-pickleball). Our only regret is not booking a longer stay. We did not visit the pool during our stay so I cannot comment on its condition.

I’ve got a huge review! The good, the bad, and the fyi. We will start with the good: Views are phenomenalLocation is greatBeautifully decoratedSpaciousGreat proximity to the pool and beachHuge closet full of beach stuffThe bad:The biggest issue was an inability to contact the rental company. The day we arrived we realized that the codes they gave us were for the wrong dates (rolling changes). I attempted to contact them and could not get ahold of anyone. I texted the numbers they had texted me at and got no reply. I called the numbers and no one answered or it would say that this was a text line only and to try a different number that went to the same answering machine. I ultimately got ahold of the maintenance man and he contacted the correct individuals but he also refused to just transfer me so I could talk to someone myself. No one ultimately replied to me until 9pm, check-in was at 4pm. No dresser in the 2nd bedroom and this closet is full of beach stuff so hardly anywhere to put your stuff Right bed in the 2nd bedroom squeaks with literally every movement Kiddie pool was locked for 3 days even after asking for it to be unlocked (nothing wrong with it just oversight that no one would fix)Hot tub and half the pool had lights were out so they wouldn’t let people in after darkChair/umbrella rentals are expensive but if you don’t use them they make you put all your belongings behind theirsVery minimally stocked

Our gate code that was emailed to me did not work the night we got there. We tried calling the number but did not get the help we needed so we had to follow another car in. We tried to walk to breakfast the next morning and could not get out of the gate. The security guard was not there. We tried to call the number listed but every code they gave us didn’t work. We finally had to get in our car to drive out to get the gate to open. It was not until about noon the next day we finally got a nice gentleman on the phone who gave us a proper code that was NOT the code that was emailed to us. Very inconvenient. Other than that, the stay was nice.

The HOA manages the gate codes for this property, and while we work closely with them to keep information current, we did not receive the correct code in a timely manner, which delayed us in getting the proper access details to you. We understand how inconvenient that was, especially after a day of travel, and we appreciate your patience while the issue was resolved. We hope the access challenges didn’t completely overshadow your visit and that you were still able to get out and enjoy the area and our beautiful beach town. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide a smoother experience from start to finish.

Nice place

The condo was fantastic. It's right on the water with a beautiful view, and nice on the inside. It was a five star stay until checkout. After spending over $5,000 for our stay, I had a simple ask to temporarily keep a bracelet (that lets you into the pool) from 10am - 1pm as we weren't flying out until that afternoon, and they wouldn't let us. They kept trying to upsell me to another night's stay to do this. My son was disappointed he couldn't hang out with his friends these last few hours of our stay. I'm sure the property manager will respond with "it's against the rules....blah blah blah" but the simple response of "sure" would have been a 5 plus star experience for this property that ended with disappointment.

Good location, terrible rental company.

While the condo is as stated in the listing, the rental company has strict rules which we found as a big inconvenience. We asked for an early check in, the rental property said “sure that will be over $550”. For an extra hour, absolutely not. Other companies will kindly honor that request if available. Our family has come to this condo complex for the past 10 years and we won’t be booking through this group again. It’s important to note that over the years, but especially this year, the High Pointe HOA is very strict. No guests are allowed in. No additional cars. Must wear wrist bands at all times - for all members. Lastly, our entire week stay was met with construction in the lobby each day. While it wasn’t that loud, they shut elevators down. We had a baby and handicapped person with us. This condo is on the 4th floor. There are better options out there.

As a result, early check-ins can be challenging to fulfill. Our extended night option allows guests to guarantee early check-in on the day of arrival, or they may choose to arrive a night early for added convenience. We understand your frustration with the fee and will take your feedback into account for future stays. We also regret that the ongoing construction and HOA policies impacted your stay. Building maintenance is important to ensure the long-term quality of the property, and while we try to minimize any inconvenience, construction and HOA guidelines (such as parking, guest access, and wristband requirements) are beyond our control. We want to ensure the best possible experience for our guests, and we apologize for the disruptions you encountered, especially with your baby and a family member needing extra accommodations. We would love to have the chance to host you again in the future for a smoother and more relaxing experience. Thank you again for your valuable input.
