Cozy A-frame Cabin- Walk to Hills pond/Sunset lake- 20 mins to gunstock

Welcome to Alton Shores! This A-frame style cabin offers all the vacation feels with proximity to everything. Minutes walk to one of 5 private association beaches on Hills Pond and Sunset Lake. Drive 10 minutes to Alton Bay and Lake Winnepesaukee where you can enjoy a meal on the water, a game of mini golf, or get out on the water. Coming in the winter? Gunstock is about 20 minutes away.

The knotty pine walls and working stone fireplace make this house the perfect place to gather and relax in summer or winter. The house offers an open floor-plan, a main floor bedroom, and a loft space that is effectively two separate bedrooms. Please note that there is no door to the loft space, and the second bedroom offers a curtain for privacy.

Enjoy the garage full of lake toys, or sit and relax around the outdoor fire-pit or cozy fireplace. The house comes complete with linens, a fully stocked kitchen, wifi, pack n play, highchair, and many additional amenities to make your stay more comfortable.

Please note: Guests are required to follow all association beach rules. These rules are in affect from Memorial Day to Columbus and prohibit dogs, fishing, fires, and grilling on the beaches.

We had a wonderful stay! We felt very comfortable and very welcomed in this beautiful piece of property. The listing was exactly as described. The fireplace created such a romantic ambience. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything that you would need to assist you in making a meal. All the appliances worked wonderfully. We would definitely stay here again.

As described, however, dirty. Cobwebs,mold and poor air quality. If you look closely in original listing the sliding glass door has white mold spores all over it, had we noticed this prior to listing we would not have gone,. That needs to be fixed. That’s a health concern. And if in listing pics and currently there , never addressed. Very disgusting experience. Sick for was after with abdominal issues from white mold ingestion.

Rustic Charm. This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting the area. The neighborhood is friendly and very quiet (except for the loons :)There are 3 comfortable queen size beds. The 2 beds in the second floor are under an A-Frame ceiling so it is difficult to stand on either side of the bed. But the ceiling fans were quiet and brought in some fresh mountain air each evening.Home does have cental air but we did not need this during our September stay. Place is very welcoming for pets.The owner was very accessible. She reached out to us before our stay to alert us around a pothole-road that our GPS was guiding us on. And she was on top of messages during our stay.All in all, an extremely pleasant visit. All four family members felt this was a great find.

Fantastic Spot and Super Easy

The hosts are super attentive, communicative and the check in could not have been easier. The place was super clean with all utensils, plates and kitchen supplies. There is an extended dog leash in the backyard so your pup can explore safely. Overall would recommend, the fireplace in particular was amazing to use.

Very sweet cabin!

I met up with a friend who lives 3 states away now...So we decided to have a weekend get-together - this was the perfect place! Clean and comfortable. The couch and chairs were very comfortable, beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-supplied. We had a great time, and the hosts were very accessible. There had been a strong wind storm that had affected the utilities, but the hosts stayed informed and in touch with us, and everything was taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend this cabin!

Cozy weekend away

The house was perfect!! Everything was clean and neat upon entering. We were able to bring our two small dogs which was a plus! The fire place made it so cozy and we even sat outside one night and had a little bonfire. We were very pleased with our stay :)
