Saint Simons Island Presents ‘OFF BROADWAY' Beach Escape Heated Pool

Brand new pool system with option to heat pool. Pool heat is $40/day. Set in the Quiet St Simons Heights neighborhood you can golf cart, bike or scooter to the pier or beach in minutes. East Beach is located 1.1 miles from the property. A unique setup with both a main house and guest house in one package perfect for spreading out a larger group. When you are not at the beach or the pier or restaurants there is plenty to do here. The front yard has a high quality 4 hole putting green to warm up on before your tee time. There is a fenced in dedicated cornhole area. Swimming pool for kids or cocktails. There are numerous outdoor lounging areas with umbrellas and an outdoor dining area complete with Kamano grill/smoker for the chef in the group to show off with. The main house has a large living room complete with big screen TV. Also in the living room is a high top with four stools for games or hot wings on game day. There is a small library for those that forgot to bring a book and a selection of games to play as well.

The Guest house has an Xbox 360 for the kids with a variety of games. There is both a living room and bedroom in the guest house with a bathroom and shower area separating them.

The backyard is lighted with warm light for when the evening outdoors lasts longer than the day.

There is a shop next door that is only accessible to the property owner.

Very nice stay. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable trip. The tiny house gives you some extra private space away from the main house. The yard is an excellent and very large space.

Upon entering the house had a musty mildew odor, as did the cottage. The screen had holes on the porch area and was filthy! While I was getting out of the pool, the handrail pulled loose (it appeared to have been worked on previously). I am fortunate that I did not hurt myself, because it pulled completely free. The owners were easy to work with during the initial process and the location is near the Winn Dixie. Not terrible, but not great either.

AMAZING place! Relaxing and so close to everything! We were able to bring our golf cart and park our trailer there with no issues! I even forgot my Apple Watch an hour and a half into our trip home and Sarah already shipped it to me before we made it home!!! I recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect in every way

Everything about this wonderful interesting property was perfect for my husband and I my 88-year-old Mobility impaired dad and our two dogs. We had more than enough room to spread out the front and backyards so conducive to just enjoying ourselves, whether we just sat in the ample shade and enjoyed watching the breeze sway the Spanish moss in the live oaks, or puttputt for a few minutes out front, toss a few pickleballs, and esp just unwind by floating in the pool. My dad was easily able to navigate the single step up into the house from the carport, and it was nice having the front (lower stepup) and side door (no step up) options as well as the new walk in shower in his bathroom. This was a "trip down memory lane" for my dad, a USN Airman who was stationed his entire stint at NAS GLYNCO in the mid 1950s when it was still a blimp patrol base, flying blimps from Brunswick to GITMO Cuba. Another added bonus was that we were a few blocks from the small St Simons airport so we could sit in the back yard and watch the small private planes land. The piece de resistance for us was noticing all the clever and interesting architectural modifications both inside and outside, and the joining of the 3 utiluty buildings to make the delightful separate apartment was pure genuus.

Great stay

The location was super! Communication with owner was great. The supplies were plentiful in the kitchen and bathrooms. Backyard is spacious. The little house needs new air conditioner unit as it was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably. We had a fabulous stay.

Fun Place

This was our second time staying here. We enjoy everything this place offers. We spend a lot of time in the pool and enjoy sitting outside at night with the lights on. The house is well cleaned and maintained. Looking forward to next year!

Off Broadway Beach Escape

Our family really enjoyed this property. It was close to the airport which was good as my husband flew in to Saint Simons. The landscaping and outdoor activities were very well thought out and designed. Put put in front yard was fun; darts and corn hole in back yard. The pool was great! Since we were not on the beach, we did spend a lot of time in the pool. Plenty of pool floats and balls to throw. Nice, private back yard. Our teenage boys loved the tiny house (note there is a separate fee for cleaning the tiny house). We all slept very comfortable. It rained a lot while we were vacationing, so we utilized the games in the home - playing monopoly at the dining room table and poker on the high top round table in the living room (there is a poker table top that we used). Had a great time in spite of the rain. Rick and Sarah were very responsive and accommodating. We do recommend this home rental and would love to go back some time in the future!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at ‘Off Broadway’ The home was a welcoming oasis and everyone enjoyed the entertainment of built in putting green, pool, cornhole, etc. The location is convenient and accessible to all restaurants, beaches and other attractions and on a quiet street. Our hosts were exceptionally gracious, hospitable and responsive.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. The house was clean and had plenty of dishes. The backyard is private and quiet and we loved the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Our vacation was perfect. The home was exactly like we expected. It was very clean and we had every thing we needed. The back yard was beautiful and where we spent most of our time. My grandsons stayed in the little house and loved the privacy from their younger sisters. We would definitely stay again.

Great Week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at “Off Broadway”. The house is fantastic. The yard/pool was a hit with the kids. And, the little house in the back was the perfect place for the grandparents to stay. The owners were super easy to work with and were very responsive whenever we reached out. Getting to the beach was really easy and there are a lot of food options close to the house. Can’t think of a better place to spend a week at the beach.

Fantastic!

We had the BEST time!! My family stayed for a little over a week and could not have been happier! There was so much to do from pool, corn hole, darts, games, and more! Location was super convenient to the beach, many restaurants and the grocery store. There was plenty of room to spread out and our little dog Honey was provided with doggy bags and a crate which was perfect when we went out. The little house in the back was just perfect. My teenager was obsessed with the space and made it her own for the week. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed, TONS of places to sit and chat and Alexa's every where for added music and ambiance. The owners were so nice and very responsive. Thank you for having us, we felt so at home during out stay. Overall, we adored this house and plan to be back next year for our summer vacation!!!

Had a wonderful time and was perfect for our group age 50-90

Great place for gathering and catching up. Did leave for next tenants a new drip coffee maker in guest house, plastic pool for dogs, and extra toilette paper. Kerrug coffee maker in main house not working well, double sinks in bathroom slow to drain, extension cord missing in 2nd bedroom for TV. We greatly appreciated the lay out of main house and compound due to one of our family was wheelchair bound. All of us enjoyed the pool and fire pit and ease of walking in neighborhood.Thank you for sharing this house!

⛔️ Caution ⛔️

This place is actually a 2 br house with a tiny house in the back. Btw it’s an extra $150 to use it. That info is hidden in the house rules. And the tiny house was full of bugs. Dead and alive. When I was sent a payment request, after we checked out, I communicated with the owner that the listing was misleading, she didn’t respond. However, I did get a call from VRBO with threats and lies from the owners. I’m so glad I purchased the insurance because they are claiming we damaged the already broken pool stairs. Also, I hope you don’t mind BEING WATCHED because they were on the other side of the fence in their camper the entire time and it made my kids very uncomfortable. I have never left a negative review in my life but I felt like people deserve to know what they are getting into. This was my first vacation in 10 years and I would have loved a heads up.

Rick and Sarah were great. Upon arrival we found a treat for our dog welcoming him. So nice. Close to resturants. My family loved the private pool and cornhole games. Will definitely book here again

This was our second stay and we returned because it was complete as advertised...activities on property, near restaurants and other points of interest...the home is well appointed and the only thing I would suggest is a dark blind on the porch door in the master and the kitchen could use seafood forks, steak knives and components for easily eating lobster and crab...we do love this place and Saint Simon Island.

Magnificent

That house was wonderful. It was perfect in every way and it was beautifully landscaped. The interior was beautifully designed. I can’t say enough good about it. My grandkids and my daughter-in-law came down from Fort Stewart. My son was not able to come. He’s active duty military, but we had such a good time and just enjoy the home and it’s just a beautiful beautiful place. I would recommend for anybody to take it in today.
