Location, Location, Location!!!

Chocolate Chip is a lower level apartment in a private villa (Peace of Chocolate). It has a separate entry, eating area, sitting area, tv, refrigerator, hot plate, microwave and toaster oven. It has a king bedroom with an on-suite bathroom and a second room with 2 twin beds that shares the king on-suite bathroom. NOTE: GUESTS STAYING IN THE TWIN ROOM MUST ENTER THE KING ROOM TO USE THE BATHROOM.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning.

Peace of Chocolate is located in the neighborhood of Chocolate Hole right around the corner from the Westin on Great Cruz Bay Road just 5 minutes from St. John’s main town of Cruz Bay. The property has a POOL and lush gardens with flowering shrubs and fruit trees. A 10-foot-wide path at the corner of the property leads to the kayaks and the beautiful waters of Great Cruz Bay.

What a great host location was great with access to town and beaches. Fabulous deck with a view and lovely pool. Close to westin for perspective. House was very comfortable with sitting area large bedroom and extra bedroom

Absolutely fantastic property with amazing views of the bay. It’s a great location with proximity to groceries and the downtown area of Cruz Bay. Lynn was a wonderful host — she recommended a rental car ahead of our stay and even gave us a ride into town our first night before we picked up our vehicle. Our family had a blast!

Great house with direct views out into the ocean, a nice sized pool, and very convenient access to Cruz Bay and the different grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops!

Beautiful stay on Great Cruz Bay

We absolutely loved this place on Great Cruz Bay! The views of the harbor from the pool were amazing after spending the day at the beaches. This is the cleanest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. Lin was wonderful with ease of check in and giving great restaurant recommendations. Will come back for sure!

Perfect location - less than 10 minutes from just about everything in town. Super quiet location and great view. Lin was so helpful - even mailed us a dive computer we somehow lost under one of the beds.

Gorgeous view of Great Cruz Bay

First time on St. Johns USVI. The location and condition of the stay were perfect, especially being close to the Wedding location. It is very clean and well-maintained. The owner was easy to get ahold of through phone, text and online. Perfect stay for my husband, son and myself!

Beautiful St John

Loved the view! Enjoyed the pool just steps from the back door. The bed's were comfortable, great location, easy to get to even if you don't have a jeep. We wish we were still there!

Awesome house and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house - very well maintained, beautiful pool and view, comfortable, and great location. The host and local property manager were extremely helpful and responsive. We could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay on our honeymoon

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property with a very helpful and attentive host! Here for several days on our honeymoon. The location was excellent and Lin, our host, took very good care of us. She was very helpful with great recommendation for sightseeing and food. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a romantic stay. Will definitely return!

Sweet gem of a place

We loved our stay at Chocolate Chip. Lin is gracious and friendly. The villa is quite spacious for a 2 BR and has very nice outdoor decking and pool area. The grounds are very lush and the kayak/SUP ramp to Great Cruz Bay is really special. Parking is easy up on the road. Just a few minute drives from groceries and town.

Fantastic Location and View. Very friendly and service oriented host.

We had a short, but great stay in The Chocolate Chip. The house is very well located with great views. The terrace and pool make for a great vacation. Inside the house there is space for improvement where the kitchen ( little working space and poorly equipped) and the availability of only one bathroom (only accesible trough the main bedroom) are concerned. Very friendly host/owner.

Yes, sir. You are right. I try to make it clear to each guest before they book, and in the listing, that the only bathroom is within the king bedroom. I am working on the kitchen. I just put in a full size refrigertor and a new dinette. Perhaps I should make it clearer that it is not a full size kitchen. I hope you made it safely back to Amsterdam. I enjoyed hosting you.

Amazing place

My family and I have been traveling to St John for many years. I was looking for a place not directly in Cruz Bay but with a car would only be a 5–10-minute drive. This was the best location and wonderful accommodations. Lin the host was very nice helpful and enjoyable to speak with. I would definitely stay here again. Tina

Choco Chip Delight

Perfect for our needs- loved having morning coffee/afternoon beverage on the deck enjoying the lovely view/grounds. Owner was very responsive with all questions. Took a quick kayak run in the bay which was fun (wished it could have been longer but the kayaks we used didn’t have back support and it bothered the hubbys back). Would stay here again.

So beautiful!

Amazing! Spent my birthday here and couldn't be any happier. Loved sitting out on the patio at sunset and sunrise just looking at the view. Drove to many beaches during the day and back to the house for a glass of wine with friends out on the patio. Great view and very quiet! Will want to go back again soon!

Beautiful stay with the friendliest hostess

Ms. Lin was beyond gracious, with great communication and offering of tips and hints to enjoy the island. Her hospitality were above and beyond. Chocolate Chip was the perfect place for our family of 4. Ms Lin makes sure you will be comfortable and the view is beautiful. This is on the same bay as the Westin, but is much more desirable and affordable. The kayaks and pool area were a great bonus. Would love to return sometime.

We were delighted by our stay at “Chocolate Chip!” Lin went out of her way to provide helpful information, invaluable tips, and lovely recommendations. She went above and beyond with letting us borrow key items that made our stay easy, enjoyable, and memorable. The unit is lovely with incredible, postcard like pictures! Quiet, relaxing, stay with beautiful views

Our Family loved our stay. The grounds of the property have many varied species of colorful, flowing plants and trees. There are hummingbirds and vibrant songbirds, iguanas and other types of lizards too. The pool deck overlooks Chocolate hole bay and is wonderful spot for an evening meal and or cocktail. There are kayaks to use and the bay is paddler friendly. Our host was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. Very nice place and I would recommend it.

Simply Awesome!

The property is awesome, easy to find, close to everything you would want to do yet you are in your own little world. From the pool to the water access to the iguanas, this feels like home. Another big part of this feeling is because of Lin(owner), she is very kind and welcoming. She is helpful with information and suggestions of things to do and see. We can’t see a reason for us to stay anywhere else in future trips to the island. Thank you Lin for making our trip simply awesome!

Hard to review

This property was adequate. A basement apartment with good views. It was tricky for us as senior citizens to manage the stairs and didn’t know accessibility was going to be an issue. Bedrooms and bathroom were excellent but the “kitchen “ was lacking. For the money we did not feel the value was there. Reminded me of a college student’s apartment. Loved the pool!

Hi Janice, Thank you so much for your review. I appreciate the feed back. I will be sure to mention the stairs and that there is no "kitchen". As shown in the pictures, it is just equiped with simple appliances. The full size refrigerator was recently added, replacing an apartment size one. I'm sorry you felt like you were in a student's apartment. I do not advertise it as a luxury apartment. It is very simple, as indicated in the pictures. I hope you come back to St. John sometime and are able to find better accomodations for your needs. Lin Garvey
