Updated & spacious 4bd/2bth on Plum Island - 2 min walk to beach

Beautiful 4 bedroom / 2 bath property on the north end of the island. With 3 queen bedrooms on the first floor and a 4th bedroom with 3 twins beds on the second, there is plenty of sleeping space. Kids will love to enter the upstairs bedroom through the secret bookcase door and enjoy their own private area. Wifi TVs in all bedrooms. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, laundry and stay cool with the ocean breeze or central A/C. Don't forget to climb the spiral stairs off the upstairs seating area to check out the 360 view from the Lookout Tower. The beach is just two mins in either direction and downtown Newburyport is just a short car ride away. Walk to the lighthouse and the playground. Plum Island is a perfect vacation spot!

Note: Two external cameras mounted on the front and side of the house that will record 24 / detect motion during the reservation for guest safety purposes. Cameras capture the front walkway, front stairs, driveway, and back stairs.

Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at the house with different members coming and going over the 2 weeks we were there. Our 2 year old grandson especially loved the play nook under the stairs and the lookout tower. The house was well stocked, making cooking and cleaning up after family meals easy. There were several easy paths to the beach and the beach buggies, chairs, and towels made things easy. The family also enjoyed biking to the Parker River refuge, eating breakfast at Mad Martha’s and getting ice cream at the Cottage.

80th birthday celebration

My children, grandchildren and siblings all under one roof. While the weather did not cooperate we spent time doing puzzles, playing games and enjoying each other. We loved the beach access for a short walk to the view and fishing off the jetty. We loved the decor, secret bookcase and spiral to the lookout. The house was everything we wanted and needed.

Wonderful vacation home!

Nicole has everything one needs to make a memorable vacation. The house is bright and cheery. The location is fantastic. We all slept well and couldn’t have been more comfortable.Highly recommend!

Great lodging, clean, well appointed and easy to check in and out.

Grandparents, children, and grandchildren enjoyed our stay at this house. The home was lovely . The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, l Extra blankets and plenty of towels were available. Took advantage of area had to offer and went to the beach in different areas every day of our stay. It was wonderful!

Quick Getaway

The Lookout is a lovely, well appointed beach house. Even though the weather wasn’t the best we all had a wonderful time together. Some braved going to the beach, some went fishing, some wandered the shops in Newburyport. Fun after dinner Karaoke at the RipTide, card games, and trying to (unsuccessfully) finish a jigsaw puzzle Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to spend quality family time

Perfect Beach Getaway

This house was perfect for a little getaway with my family and my sisters family. The big kids had their own space upstairs. We enjoyed the family area for games and movies. It was lovely to sit outside and read. It’s a gorgeous home and great location!

Kid’s paradise!

Perfect for Three Generations

This property was perfect for us. There were six of us ranging in age from 4 to 75. The beach was a short, easy walk from the property. We loved the openness of the common rooms. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Plum Island Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this great family- friendly home. The kids loved the winding staircase up to the lookout, The bookcase that turned out to be a hidden door, and the video games in their room. The adults loved their bedrooms on a separate floor. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics- dishes, coffee maker, toaster, teapot, teas, and sugar. The property was clean, and the host was easy to contact if I had a question. Thank you for the great stay.

Great weekend on Plum Island!

This is a great house to rent! It is clean, spacious and well maintained. The location is great for walking right from the house but also close by to the restaurants and shopping in Newburyport. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house for anyone who wants a quiet weekend away.

Great place for extended family

Everyone loved it! The home was beautiful, very clean and comfortable . It had some wonderful spaces for both adults and kids to spend time together or get away for a few minutes. We found the location a perfect spot to explore the beach at different locations with a short walk. The owners were thoughtful and left complete, easy instructions for operation of their home. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed out trip!

Wonderful place

We had a wonderful week at this super clean and really cute place. It had everything we needed to cook and go to the beach. The beds were super comfy and the air condition kept us all cool during a very hot week. I gave a four stars just because the deck is small, you can only fit around 5 people and there is no outdoor eating space, other than that this place is perfect and Nicole is an amazing, responsive host.

Perfect house for for adults and kids who want to BEACH!

We LOVED the lookout. The house and location are perfect. The house was clean with everything we needed, including clear instructions, and the property manager replied immediately. We had no issues. We hope to be back!

Memorial Day Weekend

We (2 adults, 5 kids) had a great stay at this house for three nights over the long weekend. It is clean and bright and had plenty of space for hanging out. The kids loved the "secret" room behind the bookshelf (and were delighted to find the Nintendo games). The beach is a 3-minute walk away, which made it so easy to go back and forth. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and there were lots of clean towels, beach towels and linens. The deck is lovely and we enjoyed dinner out there as the sun set. There was a minor issue with the air conditioning that Nicole and Mike worked to solve quickly and they were very responsive and helpful. We would happily return.

Great house!

We were a group of 5 longtime friends - staying in this house for a ladies weekend. The house was perfect, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The deck was lovely as well. We enjoyed the location, close to the beach and a short drive to downtown Newburyport for dinner. We loved the home so much - we are talking about booking for next year. BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN ⭐️

My sister and myself took our husbands and our children for a little getaway since we don’t see each other much. We enjoyed this house so much the children and the adults did not want to leave! The house was immaculate, everything you needed was there, And the beds were super comfy! The plus side of all of this was the extra living room upstairs and the children had the whole upstairs to themselves! I can’t tell you how much we appreciated our stay. Thank you for everything!

Great PI spot

Our family of eight has a great stay over Easter weekend. The place is sparkling new with cool design and lots of nice touches. The first floor main space is very roomy. Bedrooms are good size. The location is perfect near the northern tip of the island easy walking distance to three beaches. Outside deck was fun. Really good spot.

We love hanging in downtown Newburyport and spending days wandering the beach. The city has so much to offer and Plum Island is its very own vacation spot within a vacation town. Bring your bikes and explore the island. Watching the sunset at Sunset Grill is a must do!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love this house because of the proximity to the beach and downtown Newburyport. We love that it is a corner lot and we have "elbow room" on all sides of the property, we don't feel congested or overcrowded here. With 4 parking spots and a yard there is plenty of space for everyone. The interior is clean and updated. I love a good beach cottage vibe, but I prefer central A/C and heated floors with tall ceilings and good closet space. We also LOVE sending the kids upstairs to their "own space" while the adults get the downstairs. Everyone loves the secret bookcase door and the kids spend hours climbing the lookout tower to sneak away in their own hiding spot.
