Relax in this recently updated and redecorated in a tranquil beach setting on quaint St. Simons Island! Enjoy Golf, water sports, history, nature, shopping, and beach combing. This is a top-floor, 3rd story, one level end unit. Enjoy two bedrooms, two full baths, an open living, dining and kitchen area, and a private balcony with partial ocean views! With under sixty residences, Shipwatch is a quiet and gated community in the popular East Beach neighborhood and is ideal for weekend getaways, work at home retreats, or a comfortable snowbird destination during the mild coastal winter months.
Shipwatch Complex amenities include an elevator, free gated parking, private boardwalk access to enjoy St Simons Island’s beautiful sandy beaches, a swimming pool, large grass lawn, outdoor grills, and Wi-Fi internet.

The primary bedroom has a king size bed, TV, en suite bathroom, and balcony access. The second bedroom has a queen size Westin Heavenly bed. A second, full bathroom is located off the main living space. A rollaway twin bed, and washer and dryer are also available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped to enjoy your morning coffee with both a drip coffee maker and K-Cup coffee maker, and toaster, or to make a full meal after a day of exploring all that St. Simons offers! The indoor dining table seats four. A table and chairs on the balcony create a cozy, relaxing space to enjoy your morning coffee and feel the ocean breeze.

Enjoy in the unit central heat and air, cable TV, and all linens are provided.

Cozy, clean and close to the beach

This was a great place to stay for our vacation. Our only wish was that it was closer to Jekyll Island, but otherwise the place was perfect for the needs of a vacationing family with a small child.

Perfect weekend at the beach!

We loved staying at Ship Watch for the long Labor Day weekend! The unit was clean and perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids). It had everything we needed and the beach wasn’t crowded-even on a holiday weekend! We will be back!

Best Vrbo experience we’ve had!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The space was incredibly clean and well appointed with hotel-like towels and linens. We came from out of town so this was a huge win! The pool was clean and quiet and the walk to the beach was easy. We hope to stay again in the future!

Shipwatch condos stay

Nice comfortable condo that had all we needed for our stay. It's oceanfront but set back a bit further. The walk to the beach was easy, less than 5 minutes.

Great condo in a great location. Exactly as described in listing. Kitchen is very well stocked for preparing meals. Will definitely stay here again if in the area, we definitely found a new winter vacation destination

Best weekend Ever!!!

This was me and my family first experience at st Simons for my niece 5th birthday celebration and we had an amazing time!! The beds slept like heaven and the condo had everything you could think of down to box fans!!! I will always check this location for future vacations.

Our trip

It was all good. The unit was a bit small but very nice. We did notice most units had dogs - many would bark on the lanai's when other dogs walked by. We might look for a no dogs unit next time.

First SSI Visit

We did lots of touring in the area. The condo was conveniently located. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen had everything we needed. The welcome pack with snacks, etc., from the property manager was a nice touch. It was clean and quiet. We didn’t go to the beach, but it would have been a bit of a walk. The view from the walkway was nice though.

What We Didn’t Like

Access to the beach was not good, seemed like a 1/4 mile hike thru soft sand and finding your way back can be tricky. We also didn’t like having to walk across the parking lot and go thru a locked gate to take the trash out. Other than these two issues we really enjoyed our stay.

Master bathroom is newish and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals. It’s about a 6 minute walk to the water. The pool is nice and big. The building itself could use an uplift. It’s 1/2 mile to several great restaurants.

It’s okay

The place is super convenient and great access to everything really but the downside to this location is it needs a little/lot of help in the comfort. The recliner has definite issues and all sizes of people sat in it and sounds and feels like a spring is going to attack you. The kuerig is broken but works but still broken the front bedroom one of the outlets doesn’t work and the master bedroom tv has definite issues

Our second time staying in this condo. Really nice place with a great layout for a small family like ours. Good access to the beach. A bit far away from some of good local restaurants, but the biggest complaint was the fridge. Didn't stay cool enough to trust keeping dairy in it. They must know about this because they have a note about adjusting the temperature in the notes for the place, but it still wasn't able to keep it at 37-38 degrees. Other than that, great place!

The property is gorgeous - beautiful plants everywhere, a pristine walkway to the beach, well maintained facilities. Everything in the unit was also well kept and tastefully decorated and clean.
