Welcome to Båtstuga (or boat cottage in Swedish). Our huge 4 bed plus loft lake house on a hill has an amazing balcony with a tiered deck, private dock, and lake water access -- all just within 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth (and 34 minutes west of DFW Airport). All the amenities of a luxury home with a fantastic deck, balcony and dock access to Eagle Mountain Lake. Beds: 1 King, 2 Queen, 3 Full, 1 Twin. 4.5 baths. Large kitchen and dining areas. Spacious family room. Great decks and huge balcony. Washer dryer. Dishwasher. Electric stove and double oven. Toaster. Microwave. Keurig machine. Smart TVs. Arcade games. Board games. Yard games. Very nice house, responsive host. Wish it been cleaner and the plumbing was better. One of the showers didn’t drain and several sinks leaked and the tub in the master didn’t work correctly.

This property is exceptional, plenty of games for the kids to play with, And what a view from the huge rear deck to the water. House was very well stocked .,, Definitely a five-star place.

Great spot on Eagle Mountain Lake

The home has plenty of room for several people! Great place for adults and fun activities room for kids as well. We were thankful for the water being high enough to access the dock from the rest of the lake.

Amazing House for Anniversary Party

We hosted a family member’s wedding anniversary party at this house, and it was everything we could have wanted! Beautiful, spacious house with everything you could need for a lake weekend. Games, huge kitchen, tons of clean bathrooms and fresh towels, coffee, an amazing game room for the kids. We loved the huge back deck! The only thing I’d note is that the house is on a cliff, and to get to the boat dock you have to go down a lot of stairs - just something to keep in mind if anyone has mobility issues. But overall it was perfect, and the hosts were awesome!

Overall we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our group of 7. The kids had a great time in the kayak and jumping off the pier. We took advantage of everything that Fort Worth had to offer. Nearby beach park was a pleasant surprise. One suggestion. There is no way for us old folks to get out of the water onto the pier. Some sort of ladder would be helpful. That didn't stop us. It was a sight. We enjoyed our annual Grand Pack Adventure. GPA 2024 in the books. Thanks

Nice place.. needs little help

Nice house. Nice location. Not as clean as we waunted. Cobwebs in livingroom and game room. Most shower heads leaked out the back towards wall.... Windows were not clean.

Nice setting

Big and roomy for family with kids. Super game room away from other living areas. Need to do ant mitigation in kitchen (lost food from the little buggers) general maintenance/repair on stairway to dock. Provide tissues and ziplock bags. Delivery of paper towels and wash detergent at 9:30pm was awkward. Printer needs ink.

A fantastic getaway just outside Fort Worth

Our group had a fantastic and relaxing time during our stay. The location is a great getaway that is easily close enough to the City for anything you might need. We really enjoyed the dock and using the kayaks and canoe. Would recommend bringing extra kayaks if you have a large group. Thank you for a great time!

Amazing property!

This was such an enjoyable and memorable stay for us all! The home was immaculately cleaned upon our arrival and is absolutely beautiful throughout. We had no problems throughout our stay. You can tell that this is a well-loved home where many happy memories happen. The host was quick, concise and polite with all correspondence. Top favorite areas of the house were the balcony with a water view & refreshing breezes, as well as the upstairs game room for young & old alike. Thank you for sharing your home!

Most wonderful place I've ever stayed!

I have never given a review on a property before. This place just felt like home. We started calling it our tree house because of the amazing view overlooking the lake. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful vacation rental!

This is one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed at! It was spacious and comfortable and had so many gathering places for our family. The patio was our favorite gathering spot! Plenty of comfortable chairs and such a breathtaking view. We were able to go fishing and kayaking right off of the dock. We all had a blast! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing!

One of the best properties we've ever stayed at! Away from everything but close enough that if you need something it's only a short drive away. The BEST host I've ever had, gave us space but made it clear that if we needed anything he was only a call away. Lastly, the house was absolutely amazing.

Wedding Weekend

The house was even more beautiful than I had anticipated. It is spacious, and perfect for my large family. My grandchildren, accompanied by parents, enjoyed the dock by fishing and making use of the kayaks. Large kitchen area, and the owners were very accommodating. What a view from the back porch! Perfect place for morning coffee and evening conversation.

We loved this house because it's updated and inviting on the inside and has a great outdoor space for being on the water and hanging with friends and family. Plus, it's just 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and has all the amenities of city living but it still feels like you're in a private world once you're at the house. The deck off the main living area is covered so we love spending time out there enjoying the outdoors and watching activity on the lake. The dock is located on an inlet so it's calm for getting in and out of boats but a short paddle away from the bigger parts of the lake.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Unlike a lot of lake houses, this house feels like a modern house you'd love to live in that happens to be on the lake with a dock. The house has four bedrooms plus a loft that easily sleeps 12-14 comfortably. We have a lot of board games and puzzles (including the latest expansion deck for Cards Against Humanity), but the game room also has a mini basketball hoop game, air hockey and an arcade game along with a TV projector for games or movies. A great place for the kids to hang out while the adults gather downstairs. The house has a private boat slip if you want bring your own boat. We also have a few kayaks and other water toys that guests are welcome to use.
