Leaky window retreat
This property (2B) had all the kitchen amenities a family needed. The place was clean and in a great location for the things we wanted to do. The pool right outside the door was convenient and was great to cool down as weather was hot. Decor was very nice and things like AC, showers, TVs were all operating well. There are 2 things which need to be addressed. The bathroom shower near kitchen has bathroom tiles which are literally decomposing. The outer protective tile surface is gone and the tiles are crumbling and washing away. Secondly, we had a couple days of rain and the windows in the large king master bedroom leaked pretty bad into the unit. We had to take towels from the property and place one the window sills to try to keep water from soaking the carpet. Upon further inspection, it looks like this has been an ongoing problem. I notified the owners and property manager of problem and asked for replacement towels but they were never delivered. Communication of this problem were clunky and responses seemed delayed. Future renters should ask if these problems have been resolved before renting. In this hot, humid environment mold and mildew will be an issue if the water continues to pour in.
