Welcome to Glenora Bluffs

Lake Michigan, a 100-foot private beach, a bonfire pit, and evening skies filled with stars set the background for your holiday getaway. This vintage Swiss chalet cottage is situated on a 3-acre lot nestled between the lake on the front and woods on the back at the end of your private 0.25-mile driveway. The property has its own private 83-step beach stairs to access beautiful Lake Michigan.

INSIDE THE HOME
This Swiss chalet cottage and the guest house were built to take advantage of the outside; you will find comfort and modern amenities inside. The main house is one of the
original homes in the area and features a beautiful wood ceiling with large beams, white-washed walls, and new flooring on the first floor. The floor plan is open and includes a living room, dining area, galley kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom on the first floor. The house includes a fireplace, a smart television, internet access, and loads of indoor and outdoor games. The interiors are charming and were designed by a West Michigan professional. The beautiful windows keep the lake within view from almost every corner. Sliding doors give easy access to the large deck. The second floor has an open loft with another queen bed, two single beds, and another private bathroom and shower. The refrigerator, stove, dehumidifier, and dishwasher are all new.

The charming, white-washed guest cottage offers two more bedrooms, a full bath, a smart TV, a sitting area, a small fridge,and a coffee pot. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other includes 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds). Having two separate living areas provides ample space for 14 people and up to two dogs. This additional space is also fully internet accessible.

Like any property in the woods, there are bugs and critters that you may not see at home. This Fall, the owners have invested in several projects to make sure your indoor experience is as comfortable as possible. A new roof was added, the chimney was tuckpointed, and the house was sealed from the bottom up, all to make it more comfortable for you. Our monthly maintenance program is an added level of safety.

OUTDOOR SPACE
You can sit on the deck and take in the vistas or sit on the beach and let the waves wash over your toes. If you enjoy a more active vacation, the shed is filled with games like ladder ball, croquet, badminton, corn hole, a paddleboard, a kayak, and inflatable water toys for your pleasure.

THE LOCATION
Glenora is conveniently located between Saugatuck/Douglas and South Haven (10 minutes to either). The Glenn Store is conveniently located a mile away. You can take care of any last-minute items you forget or enjoy a nice selection of wine, beer, and alcohol. They also have great pizza and deli.

Are you bringing your bikes? You are less than 10 miles from the Kal Haven trail, which runs from Kalamazoo to South Haven along an old railway trail.
