Marvelous Midcentury Modern full home in Bryn Mawr

Beautifully kept and furnished Mid Century Modern house in Bryn Mawr, one of the most recognized and sought after neighborhoods in Minneapolis.

Steps from the garage where you can safely park your car, you'll enter the clean lines and minimalist style that absolutely defines the MCM aesthetic. Enjoy the peaceful and relaxing space with a view of downtown Minneapolis.

The home features a comfortable upper gathering/common space for dining and relaxing, with two bedrooms and a bath. The lower level features a smaller bedroom, full bath, and wide open bonus room complete with a comfortable Murphy bed.

All beds are Leesa premium memory foam beds and incredibly comfortable.

Walk to the local coffee shop or grocery store, just 2 blocks away. Take the train (coming soon), drive, or bike to downtown just a mile away to enjoy the sights and sounds of Minneapolis.

Our house rules include a guest maximum and quiet time. No parties, no late nights no noise that disrupt the neighbors after 9PM. Do not book if you plan to have a party. Loud music late at night will not be tolerated out of respect of my neighbors. The property is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss.

Beautiful cozy and clean home. We were very comfortable there. Bryn Mawr is quiet and convenient. Playground, trails, cafe, small grocery store, and bookstore are all within walking distance.

Mid Century Modern home off Penn

Yard - 6.50 (front yard a little overgrown)View - 9.75 (the house is perched up on a hill so view of lots of trees was nice)Kitchen amenities - 9.75 (nicely done but the fridge doors can’t open all the way because of the cabinet spacing)TVs - 6.5 (could have been better, but they pretty much got the job done) Internet - 10.0 (no complaints)Garage - 10.0 (the largish fully enclosed garage was really nice)Location - 10.0 (no complaints. We went to a twins game and was only like 10 to 15 minutes away. Looked like a good neighborhood, and was pretty quite)Bathrooms - 8.75 (downstair bathroom was nicely done but shower water pressure was a little low. Upstairs bathroom was ok, and water pressure was better)Bedrooms - 9.25 (beds were comfy. Bed frames a little to be desired. Blankets pretty decent)Backyard amenities - 8.00 (we never used anything)Customer service - 8.75 (we had a lot of miscommunications with the property but James did a good job with me to work out a few items)House - 9.00 (was a nice place. I guess the harshest critics would be the boys aged 20 and 19 and they loved it. They loved the quiet, their own rooms, the lovely surroundings and the shopping! They were content to stay in order pizza and play cards with grandpa. We grilled our last day, beautiful weather. My husband and I felt the same way. All in all, it was a great experience and Minnesota was great!

Lovely home

We had a great stay. The owners are very responsive to questions. It was beyond their control that weather caused the power to be out the first day of our stay. They gave us a heads up before checking in. When we saw that the power would not be on till after 9pm we checked into a hotel for our first night and the owner was very understanding. We checked in the next day and had a fabulous stay. For an older home it has great amenities. The kitchen is lovely and stocked well. There are 2 nice bedrooms upstairs and another bedroom downstairs with a bed and a fourth bed in a gathering room downstairs. A washer and dryer are available. There’s a full bath upstairs and downstairs. The location is perfect and close to downtown. It’s on a quiet street near a local convenient store and outstanding coffee shop. We were extremely comfortable and slept well on nice mattresses. The mid century home is decorated beautifully. We would recommend staying there.

5 nights in July

My group was 4 adults, 3 kids - there were enough beds (5) and space for kids to do their own things, a tv downstairs and adults had the whole upstairs. The big windows and layout is really neat. Great neighborhood, very close to everything we wanted to go see and do. Even an Uber pickup was there in minutes. Great coffee shop and pizza just up the street. Would definitely stay again.

Great family weekend!!

We enjoyed a long weekend with our 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren (infant and toddler). The property was perfect for our group. The lower level was great for our son, daughter in law and the 2 babies. Murphy bed, large carpeted family room, extra small bedroom and lovely large bath was great for them. Upstairs bedrooms and bath worked for the other 3 adults. Nice modern kitchen, supplies for cooking and eating at home were appreciated. One suggestion: need more mirrors! Master BR could use mirror above small vanity and extra upstairs BR as well had no mirror. Just hard for 3 adults to get ready at same time with only the 1 small mirror in upstairs bath. Loved the location of home! Super cute fenced backyard for dog. Thanks for the hospitality!

Good Week Away

Had a great stay! The location was great and easy to get to all things Minneapolis. I can tell the owner is making making improvements and so far the work looks great. Had a few issues but owner fixed immediately. Didn’t give a 5 star for cleanliness due to ceiling fans real dirty, some bug issues, and the front is difficult to walk around overgrown plants. But none of those things were a deal breaker and overall stay was great. I would stay again. The coffee house down the street was outstanding.

Charming up to date property

Overall the stay was great. Propery was clean and updated in a nice neighborhood. Owner might consider a keypad on the front door because in the winter getting into the garage was treacherous. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Excellent location

This was a perfect place to stay! Easy to get to and downtown is so close. We were in for an nfl and nhl games and we’re both super easy and close to get to. Accommodations were great. Host was easy to connect with. Would definitely stay here again

Reunion in Mpls

We enjoyed a week in Bryn Mawr and surrounding area. The location was convenient for us. We visited the farmers market, the lakes and Wirth Park as well as a couple short visits to St Paul. There were a couple of "hiccups" at the start with a clogged sink and a lack of bed linens, but the owner was very attentive and took care of the issues immediately. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

Property is a cute house! The house is an older home that is beautifully updated! Neighborhood is a beautiful older neighborhood with lots of trees. We had a couple minor issues and James was very prompt in responding to our concerns and fixing them! We had a family of 6 and there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this light-filled, open floorplan home. Big pluses for us were: the secured (and separate) garage, back yard, modern and well-appointed kitchen, pet-friendliness, host communication, bed comfort, and awesome neighborhood (quiet, convenient, walkable). Checks the boxes that matter and then some!

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay. The place was clean and perfect for us with plenty of space. Convenient trip to everywhere, location of it is so central. All in all a good stay. Definitely recommend.

Great location, cute place

Loved how close the house was to so many great places, walking distance to great coffee too. Lots of space to spread out. The cleaners missed a few things but James made it right and was responsive to our inquiries.
