Great little cozy and clean cottage walking distance to the Beach, just the right size for us and the pup. This has been our favorite stay at OBX and we visit every year.

Adorable house in a great location

We loved this house! Comfortable and small enough to keep clean. It’s two blocks from the beach and the Stop ‘n’ Shop where we got sandwiches everyday.

We had a wonderful time! The house was centrally located near so many attractions and a short walk to the beach. It is such a cute house and had absolutely everything we needed. The owner was very responsive during booking and excellent with arrival and checking out instructions. We would highly recommend this quaint cottage with lots of personally.
Evenings on the porch we're the best!

We had a great stay here. Check in was easy (they even allowed us to check in early so we could spend the day at the beach). It’s the perfect cottage size for 2 couples. Our dog loved it as well. We also enjoyed the porch to play games on! Beds were soooo comfortable. The oven has since been updated since the photos here! We would come back.

Nice place!

Cool design with personality-shaped like a yurt. Very clean. Lots of windows for a nice breeze. Nice towels. Nice bedrooms with firm beds. Big, comfortable living room with couch, 4 chairs. Wide concrete driveway.

Photos don’t do it justice.. much better in person .. light and bright and well decorated with a great, albeit, small kitchen with everything you would need Outside needs a paint job but don't let that stop you !

Owner couldn’t be contacted, No key in lockbox. I didn’t stay because I couldn’t get in. Advertised as a beautiful beach house, it wasn’t even close to a beach,the steps were dangerous with a big hole leading up to the front door. Someone is going to break a leg! This owner ruined my trip, I had to find a hotel at 11:00 pm, after driving 10 hours to get there.I expect a full refund! This should not be listed on VRBO. It’s a dump! Neighbors say it’s a fraudulent scam. Ruined my trip. Take this listing down!

Needs cleaning on the outside all trash was still under around the home which included old furniture and any other item. The deck was in very poor condition needs work! The holes through out the deck. Please don’t even think of being bared footed! The outdoor furniture was an old glass table with rusted metal chairs and there was no shade covering! It is not child friendly nor is the inside of the home also, glass tables from the 70’s..drapes were ripped and worn and truly needed new. Furniture is so old and stained .. When we arrived cleanliness was mabe a 4 on a scale of 10.The kitchenette had NO place to put groceries all of the few cupboards were stocked with dishes you won’t even use today.We were so disappointed about the whole place ! One good thing the AC WORKED WELL … one bed was newer I think.Nice neighborhood, but truly needs to be renovated!

My Favorite Cottage

This house is truly one of a kind. We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 10 years from up north and this is our favorite cottage experience The host was friendly and accommodating, answering our questions timely. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the beach with tons of fun things to do nearby. The Wright Bros Memorial, mini golf, skatepark, restaurants, art galleries, .The beach access is short block away and our favorite beach store. The Stop N Shop has plenty of everything that you forgot to bring to the beach, as well as killer wraps and an impressivel beer selection. The are lots of great choices for restaurants within 10 minutes, but I recommend JK's steakhouse and seafood at Ocean Boulevard. Breakfast and bloody marys at Jolly Rogers was a value and we met some cool locals. Surf lessons and fishing guide recommendations were made available to us from the host. The kids enjoyed getting ice cream at the Dairy Queen a half block away. The house is unique, charming and clean with everything we needed. The architecture and geometric 12 sides fascinated my kids. We had a great time playing board games and there were some interesting local books on hand. The outdoor shower was super convenient for rinsing the kids off after the beach. We grilled out and had a surf & turf meal on the huge front deck on our final night. It was a great family vacation and will be back again soon.
