Reminiscent of days gone by and lots of mid century fun!

Fully refurbished with lots of essentials inside and for the beach.

All linens, Bath towels, wash cloths, dog towels, paper towels, trash bags, Dish soap, shampoo, conditioner and dog shampoo (dog shampoo located in outdoor shower) I do not offer beach towels.

This cottage belonged to my grandmother and I have many memories sitting around her red kitchen table. I hope you and your loved ones create fun and forever lasting memories around that same red kitchen table when you stay at Time And Tide.

We love dogs and know that taking them along on vacation is a must sometimes. I allow one dog with a $75 non refundable charge .I sometimes make exceptions for an additional smaller dog, but please ask first . PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE PET FEE IN YOUR RESERVATIONS.

Our yard is not fenced but we have plenty of room to walk in the back yard . If they've played at the beach, I have provided special towels for your dog to dry them after they're rinsed off from the hose we provide on the deck. Please no dogs on the furniture and beds and PLEASE clean up after your dog in the yard.. Thank you for loving your doggies and we hope they have a great time too. Feel free to ask any questions about our policy. ALSO A NATURE TRAIL THAT I HAVE PICTURED BOTH IN MY PHOTOS.

This little cottage was so cute and comfortable. The amenities supplied were fantastic. The kitchen had pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc right down to kitchen towels and dish soap. Loved that there was a Keurig coffee maker with supplied pods. The bathroom was stocked with hair shampoo, conditioner, towels, toilet paper and even bathroom spray. We brought a lot of our own supplies but they really weren’t needed. The bed we slept in was comfortable and the black out curtains were a nice touch. After spending a day out sightseeing it was wonderful to come back to a place that feels like home. We brought our mini dachshund and there were dog treats for him and two bowls. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you like a vintage style cottage.

The cottage was as described, we came in for a wedding with a senior dog and this place hit the mark, and then some. There ain't a fenced yard but that did matter, there is plenty of room to walk them outside. The home is older but well kept and clean! Cute spot off of the main drag, which is really nice and conveniently close to all the things OBX has to offer!

Very clean, super fun property! The record player with vintage records was a huge hit with us! The beach chairs and boogie boards came in very handy because the ocean is only a 2 minute drive away! We had a lot of fun playing into the 70s theme of the cottage, and you can feel the love every time you step in. We will recommend this place to everyone! Thank you for an amazing experience!

This property was very cute and cozy. It was not far from anything. It was a very quick drive to the beach or to the grocery store. We are happy it had two bedrooms so my husband and I could stay in one and our almost one year-old in the other. This property is also dog friendly so that made this quick vacation a whole lot easier on us.

Grandma's Cottage by the Sea

The most welcoming place, decorated so beautifully. Walked through the door and immediately relaxed. Holli has thought of everything. From the littlest of decorative touches to bikes and boogie boards. We had a marvelous time.

MCM Dream!!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! We enjoyed playing games on the red table, listening to records on the turntable, and grilling out on the patio. The host provided beach chairs and an umbrella which we were very thankful for. Would absolutely return, this place is a gem in OBX!

Big Mistake

We were very disappointed in this property. Upon entering we encountered a strong musty smell. The floors in the property were crazy…especially near the bathroom (not quaint but dangerous- my spouse actually fell). Tried to sit outside but never realized how close we were to a swamp. Got many bug bites. Overall, while some people may enjoy the “quaintness “ I would definitely not recommend this property.

Adorable little bungalow only about a mile from the beach. So thoughtful with the little things provided! So convenient to able to use their beach umbrella and chairs.

Great little spot in Kitty Hawk

My family enjoyed our short stay at this very clean and conveniently located property in Kitty Hawk. We appreciated the outdoor shower and beach gear for our trips to the beach. Host was super responsive and helpful! Holli even brought us a new umbrella once she heard we had issues with the existing one. We will definitely come back!

The cottage was so cute, very mid century modern. There was only two of us and a dog so it was plenty big enough. Owners made excellent restaurant recommendations.

Vintage charm

Holli’s family property was absolutely adorable and the fact that it has been in her family since the 50s and still has the family’s kitchen table just adds to the charm. It is a quick and easy drive to the beach and the lot is wooded and private. Holli was an amazing hostess. She was quick to offer suggestions for restaurants and easy to follow directions for check in. Holli keeps the house equipped the great extras like cotton swabs, body washes, dog shampoos and other things too. Holli also responded so quickly to questions. We were struggling with how to use the AC, and even in the middle of the night, she still responded. We have already shared her listing with friends, and I’m sure we will stay again. Thank you Holli for a great spring break getaway.

We had a very fun stay at this cute and charming cottage when visiting OBX for a wedding in October. The listing is very accurate and the host was fantastic!! Super clean cottage and a wonderful experience.

Great Location!

The cottage was in a convenient location for getting around the OBX! The host was an excellent resource for things to do around the area, which made our stay that much better. Communication was almost immediate, and the suggestions were spot-on. We will be back at some point for sure!

Perfect for our family

The cottage was just as listed... adorable and one of the most clean rentals I have stayed in. It's very close to everything and beach access is right up the road. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of care into every detail.

Cute cottage

Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon!

I've lived on the Outer Banks all my life. I'm actually an 8th generation Outer Banker! My husband , Bryan is from Bethesda MD. we have a son, Perry that we adore and he goes to NC State.. Go Wolfpack!!
I have many cherished childhood memories here. Family meals at her table, playing with my cousins, many sleepovers and just time spent with her. My hope is that you and your family create your own new memories around my grandmother's kitchen table and return again and again to Time and Tide Cottage.

We loooove dogs and we know you do too, but some dogs react differently to new surroundings so we would ask that you please crate your dog when you are not there. Our yard is not fenced but we have plenty of room to walk in the back yard and a dog park a five minute walk away if they need to run and play. I have provided special towels for your dog to dry them off after they're rinsed off from the hose we provide on the deck.Please no dogs on the furniture and beds PLEASE. Kitty Hawk is centrally located for all your sightseeing and beach going needs.
Time and Tide Cottage was my grandmother's home built in '52. My husband and I have renovated it back to where it should be, a place of joy, rest and contentment. I know my grandmother would be proud.
